0:44 is fucking awesome. I've heard SO many covers of this track where that section is just absolutely fucked up. these old soundtracks are still on a totally different level
It's amazing how a song from a video game just gets naturally and progressively better with this track you can really tell they are trying to throw in as much possible
0:01 Sega CD had his place in history, i mean don't get me wrong is a piece of shit but it had certain appeal... The 32x it's the real deal, it SUCKS....ohh god it sucks. AVGN
I managed to get through the Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden NES trilogies (I did the japanese versions of CV3 and NG3 though), yet I still fear motherfucking Battletoads.
Este video juego solo lo e podido terminar en la consola NES alla por los 90s cuando tuve como 14 años, últimamente e intentado terminarlo jugando lo en emulador de NES pero me quedo en el penúltimo mundo donde te persigue la rueda 😭

in fact, it's not so simple, there's a short delay combined with arpeggions in these sections
Even the Duane & Brando cover? I like how they covered that part
Definitely has that similar vibe to Ironsword, Wise is one of the best
I just wanted to acknowledge your greatness.
It makes me do the "stink face" while bobbing my head.
I'm going to single handedly take you to a million views.
Nobody likes a quitter.

These things take time, also I started using an app that doesn't count views. So it's going to take a little longer. 1 million baby!
sualocin, the return of the King! Sorry I doubted you. Will you forgive a peasant like me.
@@sualocin Damn, that's dedication. You're a GOAT for attempting this
Man.. this soundtrack brought some strong nostalgia. I remember playing this jewel back in the 90s after school. Good times.
This is the only level I can actually beat in this damn game.
I could beat till the 5th BUT in q hardcore run im in 11
Of all of the video game songs burned into my brain over the years, this is one of the deepest worn grooves.
I woke up to this in my head this morning. Im 39 dude what in the hell. Gonna be a good day.
It's amazing how a song from a video game just gets naturally and progressively better with this track you can really tell they are trying to throw in as much possible
Only a genius can compose this awesome music with only 8bits.
And David Wise is one of those geniuses.
You can tell David Wise composed it, really sounds like DKC music if it was on the NES
That just makes me wonder what actual DKC music would sound like on the NES.
I got to level 9 in this game with the spikes and that fricking fish in the water biting me. Level 3 wasn't bad once I memorized it.
They should be be in smash
I can’t get anywhere past level 8 without some kind of cheat.
Level 11 is a nightmare. Even on emulator, it’s tough to get the turns right.
I’m still missing hair that I yanked out when I was 10 playing this back in 1992.
It begins
0:55 god damn it truly cool
I love this song more and more every time I hear it, especially at 0:11 and 0:13.
This entire comment i relate.
0:11 0:13
What an amazing game
Damn those 5 audio channels go hard
0:44
Such elaborate composition.
this is so dkc in my opinion, no surprise that it was composed by David Wise
0:11 Best part
Listening to this while programming is the best combo wombo XD
I guess I'll also have to do this
0:01 Sega CD had his place in history, i mean don't get me wrong is a piece of shit but it had certain appeal...
The 32x it's the real deal, it SUCKS....ohh god it sucks.

Just came over here from watching that video for the millionth time. Good ol' AVGN
0:44 is just magical
It really takes the whole thing to another level.
Iconic
You can totally tell this is David Wise. It sounds right out of donkey Kong country!
You know you heard this track at least 100 times because you kept dying
This song reminds me of problem solving like TROUBLE SHOOTING etc
I managed to get through the Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden NES trilogies (I did the japanese versions of CV3 and NG3 though), yet I still fear motherfucking Battletoads.
@VinnyLT9000 You ARE a badass sir. -salute-
This game is ridiculously difficult
Did this composer also do Cobra Triangle? It reminds me so much of a tune from that game
Yeah, his name is David wise if you're wondering
i found a good cover of that track - "That Spaceship Gave Me Zits and a Rash"
