I am one of the people who loves warhammer fantasy but knows nothing about it, so I appreciate you dropping bits of lore here and there about whatever faction your playing, just makes me like the universe even more. Thanks for the video!
I personally found keeping one of the basic hero per army really good for the raise dead and vanhel's. You can make their notification go away by checking the little focus on the path checkbox under their upgrade options. Also you get one precious metal per building when razing. So sacking the place first yields less metals.
Yeah, I remain hesitant to lose out on raise dead, since it's such a strong spell. Even without vanhel's and curse of years, raise dead is just that strong.
this mod looks so awesome and it kinda proves that the chaos upgrade system is one of the most fun mechanic in the game and more factions should have it imo
Was looking forward to nagash, but this is seems really cool too. Also just really excited for a new campaign, for me personally I really enjoy watching the early game where you're underpowered/outgunned by the enemy, especially when you're banged up after constant battling. My favorite campaign of yours was the belegar campaign because of that, always had to fight hard to survive close battles against the odds
Interestingly enough the most I struggled was in the early game was Arkhan (mostly due to pathetic garrisons), but that one was I think my least popular run, to the point I cut it pretty short. Might be because I already did a full Arkhan run in TW2, though, not sure.
I played this for mod about 50 turns before taking a break from it. The couple of dawi fights at the start are about the biggest challenge you get for most of the campaign. Walach and Aborash especially but even the generic mod lords and legendary heroes are so insanely busted that they are all functionally 1 man doomstacks with just a hand full of levels. Walach starts with his regen + damage resist ability, gets the Hunger right away, get's multiple aoe heal passives on spell cast, and gets Soul Stealer on top of crazy amounts of extra ward save passives, so he is essentially base game Vlad but with a dragon mount and even more unkillably durable. It was fun but definitely not a challenging campaign. The biggest "challenge" is getting bogged down playing defense once you take Nuln since it has a weak garrison, the Empire keeps ruin dwelling everything you destroy around Nuln, and Witch Hunter raids come reasonably fast (I was getting them about every 10-15 turns). You eventually get tier 3 in Nuln which will let you build a building that applies a beastman "blood ground" effect to stop the ruin dwelling and gets the garrison beefed up to where you don't have to babysit as much. Keep in mind that since you have unit caps you will have to run a bunch of "chaff" in your armies but since the faction has no upkeep you can focus on getting Grave Guard recruitment unlocked either in Walach's horde or in Nuln and then completely ditch zombie and skeletons which means your basic "disposable" fodder is more elite than 90% of what the empire will throw at you. The lack of upkeep also means there is no downside to immediately upgrading all your Bloodkin units once you have the rank and the extra Valor to do so.
Best total war UA-camr in my opinion. I try to watch all the videos. You’re the best man. I hope one day you get insanely popular on here. All glory to the Algorithm
Loving the new series, name idea for an actual blood knight unit: Sons of Aborhash, (or however that name is spelled) just to add to the blood knight vs Ordo Draconis confusion.
Name idea... One of your Blood Dragon heroes named Tagnik ( TagNick) V'los. [ Dragons Blood] A dark elf lord that was offered a chance of Undeath after a Dance of Blades and seeing his hatered of all Elfkin. Refusing to take an Common named used his own language to remade himself into the Ordo Dragonis and become a terror to Elvenkin and thus being a true nitemare
18:50 Weirdly, I think one of the VC factions comments on the lack of dwarf undead in a diplomacy screen. 1:07:30 Confusingly, they both have two Honour or Deaths, but the casting one is part of the "unique"(?) skill line for the Kastellan. Also I love the voice work on Walach's maniacal laughter.
I'm so excited for this campaign, wasn't my first pick for the vote but nonetheless the way the knights just barely skirted the enemies lime before slamming into the mortars was great, very cinematic, can wait for whats in store And for names ngl it kinda feel right to have a blood dragon hero/lord named "Vlad the impaler" but id setter for a lance knight unit named "Vlad's impalers"
You should add the Dynamic Disasters mod! Maybe for this campaign or others, but adding different endgame options alone is great for choices. Most are just vanilla but other races, some are different with quests.
The Blood Dragons. Time to turn the world red with with the blood of the living! This is gonna be a fun campaign. I don't like Vampire Counts, but Blood Dragons are far enough from their kin and stand out as awesome undead warriors that I have a soft spot for them, especially the first Blood Dragon Abhorash.
I'm back baby!! Had good changes in life. And getting back into action. I be late to the party, but let there be blood, let there be death! And let the red tide conquer all!!! (Glad to be back)
Oh man I'm so glad you're playing this mod. Second favorite campaign I ever played after a really long and brutal empire campaign in 3. Knew it'd be right up your alley.
Favorite characters. Ikit - When something absolutely random and ridicules happens, You hear in the back ground, YES YES! IKIT SMARTEST GREATEST RATTTTTTT! xD . Borris Toddbringer, the greatest among us, may sigmar bless you in the after life my hommie. Grombrindal , when $h1T hits the fan, the white dwarf solos everyone. incredible amount of forgiveness for a dwarf. Grombrindal- WHY WOWNT YOU LET ME REST ALREADY xD
I'm not tryna take credit but was this series at all related to the comment I left about this mod. At this point I'm just super excited to see the Blood Dragon mod in action
I think you can look at the mod as being a _you_ are the endgame scenario. Vampire strength is very much toned down in vanilla Total Warhammer for balance reasons. They're also quite rare in the lore and don't have these crazy numbers. But if they were to spread like a plague instead of constantly betraying each other it would be an absolute disaster for everyone.
Ok, as someone who has played this mod before… make sure to build up your horde first before you focus on settlements. There’s a building that gives you one scale per turn at either tier 4-5. It’s a lifesaver!!!!
It looks like a fun mod but after episode 1 it seems very very OP. I don't see a challenge incoming. Considering after turn 1 you can inflict -50 leadership penalties every battle. It took Drycha to at least turn 10 to get there. I do like the potential of this mod, but it needs dialed way back.
The quest battles are brutal and after rising the order level the witchhunter incursions start getting quite crazy. To what campaings are you comparing to? Other VCs are very OP as well.
The Bloodkin hero having Raise Dead is nice early on but the power spike from going the specialized heroes is massive. If I remember correctly you can eventually direct recruit Ordo Draconis heroes from Ordo Draconis Keeps which is what you make Nuln into so for variety you may want to make him into one of the others. In my campaign I made the starting guy into the Depth Guard hero variant which is a dual axe infantry blender hero that gets a very stunted magic tree with just the Tide Call spell and the mortis engine on spell cast for a few seconds passive and an ability that roots him in place for a few seconds while doing massive aoe damage. He also gets an always on mortis engine effect and eventually instead of a mount he gains the ability to shift in and out of flying spectral sea serpent form (kind of like Cathay dragon lords).

Is archaon campaign over 😢
Those are some lavish red zombie uniforms. True lords spare no expense when dressing their zombies for war.
Well I mean red dye is the cheapest of all the colors back in midevil times so it isn't that expensive
@@robocop1279Especially when it's probably just blood

Haha, I've been singing the warband system's praises ever since first encountering it too.
I've found so many mods that give warband upgrades to nearly every faction
The archaon camaign is a lot of fun, but I have to say I am HYPED for this new mod.
Working my way through your Vlad campaign as well. Double vamp campaigns is always welcome
Can't go wrong with more vamps!
Enjoy Bathilde von Sinckler being an absolute legend.
THERE WILL BE BLOOD! SHED! THE MAN IN THE MIRROR NODS HIS HEAD!
THE ONLY ONE, LEFT
That oath of the Blood Dragons reminds me a bit at that teachings of Conans father in Conan the Barbarian....😅😎⚔️

Thanks so much man! Appreciate all the support. Here's hoping =)
We need more uploads of this asap!! Best series so far, loving the new faction and vampires are the best!!
Iam so glad for Helldivers 2 for bringing back capes into the mainstream! Capes are just an awesome accessoire!
Well here we go. I didn't like the last campaign but I am sure excited for this one. Well done Ruinous.
Loving the new series, name idea for an actual blood knight unit: Sons of Aborhash, (or however that name is spelled) just to add to the blood knight vs Ordo Draconis confusion.

I hope this campaign lasts a while!
I’ve been dying for you to play this mod, still my favorite Warhammer UA-camr man!
Not to worry, you can be raised again.
Thanks a lot man! =)
Thanks for talking about the lore I’m one of those people who don’t know it outside these games 😂
;)

Oooh!! I didn't see that there was a new season, I've only been recommended the Archaeon. I gotta catch up quick!
I had to make a second comment towards the end. I love the lore plugs.
LETS GO Ruinous I've been wanting someone to do a proper modded campaign for way too long
I've been wanting to check this thing out myself for ages.
@@RuinousInsight other than being kinda unbalanced it's my favorite mod
Looking forward to many cheap jokes with and about the word Blood while bathing in it :D
I’m super excited for this series. Just make sure you make Abhorash a “Lord” and not a “hero”.
All hail the algorithm, bring me this series on my homepage. Amen.
I endorse this message.
Name Idea "The Nightriders" or " The Knightriders" if you want a pun.
Great looking Mod!
Hmmm.. both are good.. I am struck by indecision..
My favorite Vampire Character is The Red Duke.
just found this save and looking forward to it and even forced me to start a Blood knights campaign. Cheers
Ah yes, another vampire faction hitting the Empire by turn 3. Besides .. looks interesting enough. Keep going :D
Yoo my favorite Vampire faction!! Lets gooo
I still love and am watching the rats.. But I'll try watching this too. 🎉
I'm so excited for this campaign, wasn't my first pick for the vote but nonetheless the way the knights just barely skirted the enemies lime before slamming into the mortars was great, very cinematic, can wait for whats in store

Elven immortality come with the big draw back, you have to be an elf.
Because of this, I have since revised my opinion and concluded that lizardmen immortality is superior.
You should add the Dynamic Disasters mod! Maybe for this campaign or others, but adding different endgame options alone is great for choices. Most are just vanilla but other races, some are different with quests.
Bro your videos are addicting af.
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD AND THE BLOOD DRAGONS
The Blood Dragons. Time to turn the world red with with the blood of the living!
This is gonna be a fun campaign. I don't like Vampire Counts, but Blood Dragons are far enough from their kin and stand out as awesome undead warriors that I have a soft spot for them, especially the first Blood Dragon Abhorash.
name for zombies; The Hulkin' Hooligans
Vampire knights are just the coolest.👿

The pink hair is quite amusing with the glowing eyes

BLOOOOD FOR THE BLOOOOD DRAGON!!!!!
Interesting, this mod seems pretty fun
I'm back baby!! Had good changes in life. And getting back into action.

Blood for the Blood Dragons!!
Dude i hope your channel get bigger
Looking forward to this series.
Same!
Super fun campaign love it!
Hail the blood dragons!
I am impressed by the voice acting of Walach, the laugh is somehow over the top and not at all over the top at the same time ❤
Agreed! I haven't gotten annoyed with him constantly laughing like I do at Malekith for his screaming.
this looks sweet
i love the lore dumps over the end turns
Good to hear =D
Elvish immortality has no downside.... Except for being an elf
Alright fine, you're right. Let's use lizard immortality instead. Saurus also have biological immortality _and_ get stronger as they age.
All glory to the bloodgorithm
Oh man I'm so glad you're playing this mod.
Second favorite campaign I ever played after a really long and brutal empire campaign in 3. Knew it'd be right up your alley.
That's a good sign.
Haha, anything with even a hint of vamps is up my alley.
No draw back? The drawback is being a elf.
Lmao 100%
FINALLY WOOOOOO
hearing the blood dragon bloodline vs order lore dump reminds me of why i love your videos
Hahahahahahaaaaaa!!! "Mine is an evil laugh"
Oh yes! I loved (and watched the whole series) the Vlad series you did! Been looking forward to another vampire playthrough!

Who's gonna be Wallach's ally this time 👀👀 Chorfs for artillery?
God smiles upon the humble zombie
Let's gooo
do not destroy the legendary lords, before Abhorash appears, he gets additional buffs after defeating them
blood for the blood lord!
looks like a fun campaign
too bad can't convert losing lords into vampires
BLOOD!
Loving this campaign! The mechanics are a perfect combination.
I'm happy to see you trying out some of the modded factions. Keep up the great work
Found these guys extremely overpowered even with tons of difficulty mods. But its a LOT of fun and I love the unit upgrade mechanics
I think you can look at the mod as being a _you_ are the endgame scenario.

Loving all the vampire lore drops, please keep doing that! 😊
Praise the algorithm

One blood knights unit oughta be called "The Rag Tags" because lmao period joke
i cant wait to get deeper into this campaign! Love the content
Thanks man!
Hell yeah! Always here for a vampire playthrough!
