I really enjoyed your journey making that cup of Joe. As a combat veteran I can truly say, this video definitely relaxes me into a hole new level. Thank you brother.
Thanks! Appreciate it! I’ve been working on longer lasting projects currently that take awhile to build and also edit, but I’m working on keeping at it.
I was on board until you started crushing coffee beans with a hatchet 🤣. Your fire pit build is one of my faves on UA-cam though and is probably the route I will end up going myself. Very nicely done
That's not over built it's just wonderful and beautiful sweetheart!!! Have you thought of going even more crazy 🤪 by maby an underground 1' in diameter pipe leading down under it and to the side to create a giant rocket stove version with perforated safe walk over lid fire pit for the smokeless side????
@@TheFixFinder I should have watched the rest of the video!!! Sorry sweetheart but I was being dragged away at the time!!! I promise to watch it now OK 👌 sugar bear 🐻??? Please forgive me sweetheart!!!
No sweetheart I meant even deeper than that as in a gigantic rocket stove effect but what you've done is of course as I said wonderful and beautiful and please continue making many countless and numerous more videos sweetheart!!!! Also sweetheart if you'll reread my first comment I mentioned 1foot in diameter pipe from the bottom of the pit leading down about two feet into a slope to a fire pit outside your beautiful brick slab to a maby 2feet in diameter fire pit with a 2&1/2 foot steal grate strong enough to walk or mow over to create a gigantic rocket stove!!! But that's OK 👌 as I said what you've accomplished is beautiful and of course useful as you've most certainly proven and I'll bet that coffee ☕ was absolutely heavenly!!!!
We have a neighborhood full of dogs. It’s hit and miss on how often they let themselves known. I don’t and won’t complain as long as no one would complain about me having chickens when the time comes that I get some.
Nice fire. ASMR is supposed to relax you. I think there's a safer way to chop wood. You had me on edge, literally. Why don't you just lay your log down flat horizontally in front of you, place the axe head on the top end of the log while holding the axe handle and bottom end of the log in your hands and then just picking it up and banging it down on the stump. You could make a video of your campfire burning for a long time. Now that would be ASMR. Just joking.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice! Looks like the modifications have significantly improved the performance!
I think so and also using good dry wood makes a big difference too.
I just found your channel and watched several videos as well. Great work. Keep'em coming.

This is so good! so relaxing to watch. Makes me wanna go build a fire now. 😆👌🏼
Thanks! Sure is fun to make one!

Why do you keep saying sweetheart????
How did the rain cover hold up? Im trying to decide on using one
It’s working well so far, the heat I think makes it warp a slight bit, but so far it’s holding up.
@@TheFixFinder *6 months later* is the rain cover still doing a good job or did you have to replace it due to the warping?
You dropped the walls down by a row, does that mean the only air flow is the underground vent?
The vent along with small gaps in the bottom brick layer to let air come in the holes drilled in the fire ring
This is one of the most sexiest things.... I mean peaceful things to watch😅
I hope that's not your hound bellowing constantly. That'd drive me nuts

Why you going survival mode in your own backyard? That had to be the weakest coffee ever.
Just doing it for fun. I use dark roast beans
