06:22 is so crazy when you think about the fact this was written in the 19th century

Liszt did write some extraordinarily dull stuff from time to time, huh

it's quite a lovely piece when it's played by a pianist who doesn't sound like they need to use the restroom.

This recording is too fast, I think it sounds better on other performances where it's played much slower.

This world is too slow for Huang Yi-Chung.
However, at this tempo, these notes make an interesting timbre and unique sounds.
Some people think that the slower tempo will bring out more musicality, while I think it will drag the music into the hell of boredom. There are too many decorated notes in this piece and the only way to make music is to play them fast and effortlessly.

Everything musical about this piece is lost at this tempo.
