The court case of an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania, USA could enable the state to starve people at will.
Amos Miller's farm was raided by the Penn State Ag Dept headed by a power mad man named Pope Redding.
They want to require the Amish to get a license to grow food. Penn jailed two men w/o bail because the provided ultra sound service to the Amish to see which animals were pregnant. The higher court denied the appeal to free these men. Now the case is being appealed to Penn Supreme Court.
They also want people to register their backyard gardens and have to get a license to grow food. If needed, the state could tell people to destroy their gardens in the name of "climate change". It is as if, Bill Gates goal to reduce the population to one billion is on schedule...

I work on a vegetable and diary farm. It's very hard work, all natural, NO CHEMIALS ever on this farm. We work from sun up to sun down, and my saying is always , "pay the farmer or pay the pharmacy," which would you rather do?

I am a dairy farmer from the uk. Farming is getting harder and harder. I work myself into the ground if im honest, 12 to 16hours, 6-7 days a week with very little reward. The bureaucracy has exponentially increased year on year. We get paid very poorly. Our milk supplier Arla is a farmer cooperative, but some how the executives have got us heavily involved with ESG. The anti farming agenda. Pulled the wool over our eyes by saying we need to be involved with this "this is what the consumer wants" .." you will get paid more" . In fact the opposite has happened. Bogged down with paperwork.Basiclly its running us out of buisness. We never voted for it. The industry will collapse if this continues. The amount exiting already year on year is crazy. The adverage age of a farmer is 59 in the uk. Young people simply are not entering the profession. They dont want the stress, hassle or finical burden and i dont blame them. If this all carrys on people certainly will go hungry

As a small farmer in Oregon, I can say our local government does everything possible, including using illegal tactics (local attorneys fear retaliation) to shutdown small farms in our county. From the outside, we appear to revere agriculture, the county uses it to draw tourists, who spend their money here…not realizing it’s all a facade. Our tax dollars pay the salaries of the county employees who kick us off the land, I don’t know how they sleep at night, they’re despicable.
We fled Oregon 20 years ago. Totally a corrupt ass police state that also holds the record for the most children taken away from their families per capita than any other state. I can only imagine how bad it is now. I wouldn't go back if my winning lottery ticket was waiting there for me

Additionally, now their requiring small, private residential farms that have even just 2 chickens to become registered as a CAFO, a designation which is
meant only for large, industrial, commercial farms. It's outrageously expensive, requires well over 100k to build the infrastructure required to meet the standards. This is all a blatant attempt to take the people's ability to feed others out of their hands & under the control of the government, which would ultimately give them absolute power over all people. It's sheer arrogance & insanity on the part of of these globalist psychopaths that are currently in charge.

I was born and raised in Mexico in a farm. I have noticed how most farmers have been purchasing engineered corn instead of creole corn because it provides a better yield. This engineered corn is much more expensive and more resistant to hard weather (hail, wind, etc.) THE PROBLEM with this is that if you use the seed from this corn and plant it again to keep the cycle going, your fields will not produce any corn anymore. This was purposely done so that farmers cannot keep planting the seed from one generation to the next just like in the older days, this makes farmers dependent on purchasing engineered seed every year, while at the same time, making them spend more money. If form some reason they stop selling this engineered corn seed at any given year, the great majority of farmers would not be able to plant any corn and feed their livestock - in other words, if they pulled the plug at any time and stop selling to farmers, the great majority of farmers would collapse since they would have no money for their livestock, and would be highly indebted to the banks.
Buy organic not gmo! I cannot get organic corn seed where I am but I make sure to have organic and reproducible seeds from other vegetables.

Here in the UK the government has said that later this year, it will forbid us from keeping chickens at home. I have 6 that have a good life in my small paddock. They supply us and my friends with exceptionally good wholesome eggs, daily. Since the c-vid years, all food, bedding etc for them has at least doubled.. There is no way I will get rid of mine and will fight for that right.. we all need to stand up to the tyranny of these mindless bureaucrats and say NO! Leave us alone!
How many years did they use bird flu to make it difficult to keep chickens outside. I even had a DEFRA minion appear in my garden without my knowledge to check my chickens. In the United States now almost all of our farmland is owned and run by corporations. They even have barraks for the illegal alien workers. Family farms are rapidly becoming a thing of the past as they can't survive droughts andsuch as easily as a giant corporate entity.
Just like retail and restaurants, every has become corporatized.
Small businesses and entrepreneurs along with family farmers are being crushed.

People are concentrated in cities. Buying property for a small farm is out of reach for most.
@@bradhienzacharyGet training then get a firearm. Start with a small balcony garden or group garden. Learn self care, stay fit, strength train, eat well. Most of those things can be done in the inner-city. Obv. If no patio, okay, then try a communal garden or move slightly to the edge of the city to get that patio or micro backyard. Ideally, move out of the city to the burb. Then, all is possible. No big farm, but small garden. Financially support the farmer's markets, too, and vote on their, 'your' behalf. 😄

I'm in Iowa and also they are passing a law in the USA that requires you to register your garden...The one in your own yard, because if something happens, they will come into your yard and take the food you paid to seed and put the work into growing. To pass to others. In case we have a food shortage, people are so blind. I will not share my food with people that chose to not grow their own food. I have five kids fed.

The WEF is enforcing farmers to use fertilizer, which they have to buy, instead of manure from their own cows, which farmers have to pay to get rid of.
The fertilizer actually worsens the fertility of the ground over time as well as water in the ground, which normal manure doesn’t.
Over time farmers will have to stop. And they’ll move all farming activities to the east of Europe where Black Rock bought lots of land, and companies will be in charge of our food and governments will have no say or power over the quality and the ingredients of the food.
While production of food will be made as cheap as possible and probably making food less healthy in that process. Which is how our food will shorten our lifespan. This last part is my speculation but that’s what capitalism does when unhinged.

Support local farmer's markets - are you serious? Have you seen the extortionate prices they charge? It is - at least - double the highest prices of the shops. Nice as it may be, a pasty is not worth £6!!! I'll give you £1:50 tops. If farmers want support, they have to meet people half way and drop their prices to way below the greedy level they currently sell their stocks at. They are currently only catering to the rich.

The video did mention that the supermarkets are allowed to price farmers out the market and the government are making their lives difficult which translates to higher prices in the farm shops. You're still getting quality ingredients from them though. I changed my eating habits to afford the higher quality food, I only eat meat, eggs and cheese, I find this diet very healthy and affordable.

I am a seventh generation farmer with a small poultry farm in Vermont. I raise about 1000 birds. My organic pastured broiler business is completely dependent on external forces working together. My business is impossible without other farmers growing grain, the post office to ship the chicks, the hatchery, the broiler breeder farms, diesel, propane, gas, electricity, etc. I feel that these dependencies make my business vulnerable. In light of the not so recent attempts to kill small farmers in America, I am starting a cattle venture in addition to my poultry business that is more self reliant. The idea is to utilize draft power in order to produce hay and feed for the entire herd. It will be hard work and certainly will not be easy to learn, but it is better to learn these skills and practices before the SHTF. Luckily there are many Amish folks around here that are willing to help, which is rare. I plan on making the transition hopefully before the food is all gone. Find people willing to collaborate on producing what you don't. For example, someone local could be producing chicks so that you can cut out shipping. The more resources locals can collaborate on, the less will be out of your control locally.

Farmers should be the pride of a country and it's government. They work so hard. They deserve to keep their land and they deserve respect, and they provide us all with life! This is so sad.

My family farm was shut down by Monsanto/gov. They took all of our corn as they claimed it was theirs even though we had used our own seed for 4 generations. We could only afford to keep our land if we planted pine trees and sold straw for flower beds. My grandad was wealthy on this farm I'm barely sustaining after my crops were stolen by the courts.

Same thing happened in India to cotton farmers sold a bill of goods with Monsanto seed. No way should cross pollination entitle them to any rights over your crops. They should be charged as polluters for what their seed has done to your crops. This is the way to get rid of them having rights genetically modify by wind distribution. I worked with a farmer who had to work outside of the farm, to keep his farm going. He was offered £20k a year to have a greenwash wind turbine on his land. No wonder so many have them.
