the birds on the fretboard just really make it magical lmao
They really do! One of my favorite features of PRS guitars, especially this one. \w/
Do a whole human clay play through. Such a great heavy riffing album. My brother had the same guitar, after he died, I took it on tour with us. Many greats have touched and played on it. Mark's such an underrated player. Alter bridge is nice, but Creed got Mark's more unique playing.
I absolutely plan on doing that! I love that album all the way through, and it still stands the test of time. I'm really sorry to hear about your brother. It's a hell of a guitar, and sounds massive especially with cleans. I agree, Tremonti is my favorite guitarist, and I like all of his bands/projects/guest appearances. He has always been severely underrated. I REALLY dig his own band Tremonti, but Creed by far is a favorite, and now they are coming back! \w/
@@ryanmichaelriffs about time Scott deserves a sober chance. I wish they would of buried the past along time ago.
Absolutely! He actually looks and sounds better than ever. He seems to have balanced his life out, and glad the other guys finally came around to hashing it out. I'm really excited to hear new Creed music tho if it happens, because they still owe the label new music from what I've heard from Tremonti in podcasts.
This is one of my favorite guitar solos of all time and you absolutely crushed it! Great job!!
Thank you VERY MUCH! This is actually one of my favorite solos he did in Creed, but man, EVERY solo he's ever done in any of his projects or guest appearances have been so good, with so much feeling behind it. Thanks for the nice comment, glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome
Thank you! \w/
Flawless, awesome cover.. thank you 🙏🏻
THANK YOU, and thanks for taking the time to check it out! \w/
you fucking nailed it
Thank you! \w/
Goodness....this cover is amazing.
Thank you VERY MUCH! I really appreciate it, and definitely going to do more from Creed soon. \w/
good job, Creed's progressions are underratedly challenging
Thank you! Tremonti is an absolute machine of a player, and a song writer. In Creed in particular, their progressions/melody/overall structures are amazing and definitely underratedly challenging. Very well said! The fact they have as many hits/hooks is unreal.
One of the best songs and solos ever 👍🙏
Yes! Such a banger of a song, and album! \w/
Solid💪
Thank you! 👊🤘
Such a great cover….nailed it!!
THANK YOU! I am glad you enjoyed it! I definitely need to do some more from these guys for sure. \w/
One of the best covers I’ve seen!
THANK YOU for the very kind words! Definitely one im proud of, and definitely need to do more from Creed for sure!
Just freakin’ outstanding sir. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us.

Love it man!!
Thank you!!! \w/
Fantastic!! This is one of my faves! You nailed it!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Definitely one of my favorites amongst many from these guys.
Guitar champion... Awesome..
Guitar champion AND Guitar God!
Thank you for posting. Creed gets a lot of shit bit I like them. Once tremonti got the handcuffs off he really showed how awesome he was at soloing.
Thank you for taking time to check it out and comment! You absolutely nailed that statement about Tremonti. He is an amazing, well-rounded guitarist that got to show his abilities even more after Creed. I love all of his work, and got the chance to meet him few years back when he was on tour with his own band, Tremonti. Extremely humble and such a good heart.
And this wasn’t even him at half his potential lol
Atta boy
Thanks! \w/
Wow, mad props to you.
Thank you, very much appreciated!
awesome cover!
Thanks man!
so good
Thank you brother! \w/
Such a skilled work 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thanks so much! One of my favorite songs from them for sure! Fun to play too.
Dayumm!! 👏
THANK YOU! I really appreciate that \w/
Excellent job, you're very good
Thank you very much for the kind words Kristian, and thank you for taking the time to check my cover out! \w/
Fav solo ev
I agree! I'm a HUGE fan of all of Tremonti's projects and anything he's touched, but this solo definitely stands out. It goes to show that it doesn't always need to be the craziest, fastest, most technical solo to make a song. This solo stands on its own and brings the song full circle. \w/
@@ryanmichaelriffs 🙌🏻
Wow!! 🥵🔥
Thank you for taking the time to check it out! \w/ 😊
Great work man! Wish I could play like you. ✌🏽
Thank you for the kind words, and also for taking the time to check out the video! \w/
Fantastic!
Thank you VERY much! \w/
really cool man !!
Thanks! \w/
This song feels so awesome to play, it is not that complicated but still feels great, Do you play the Drop D version or is this that other version where all the strings are tuned lower ? Tremonti has this great guitar sound with his PRS guitars in many of these Creed and Alter Bridge songs. Higher and My Sacrifice are also two songs that feels great to play among others
What version of the Holcomb 6 string do you got ? Is it the one with the Duncan Alpha and Omega pickups? Sounds awesome man, I have the PRS SE Standard in Vintage Red, the one with zebra colored pickups, but I changed the PRS bridge pickup for a Zebra colored Dimarzio Super Distortion pickup, I do not know what pickup to match with that in the neck yet though.
Anyways great video!
Hey! Thanks for taking the time to check the video out, as well as comment. I couldn't agree more! Tremonti is an absolute beast of a player. He has so many solid riffs spanning through all of his projects....but the riffs in Creed are indeed very fun to play and learn. It's been great watching/hearing Tremonti's progression from Creed to current with Alterbridge/Tremonti band. I am playing this song in the lower tuning : DADF#AD
I've always loved his guitar tones. The clean, distorted, and lead tones always just rip, including live. Tremonti is a big reason I went with the PRS I have/that is used in this video. I absolutely agree, those are GREAT songs to play. I definitely need to cover more for sure.
The PRS I have is the standard SE model with indeed the Alpha/Omega pickups which are great....but I am thinking about swapping them for Fishman pickups. I have a few sets of those in other guitars and they are GREAT. That guitar of yours sounds like it looks sharp and that's a solid choice for a pickup for sure! PRS guitars play excellent, and alot of the SE models play better than some of the higher end models.
Thanks again! \w/
Nice
Thank you! \w/
Well played.
Thank you! I really enjoyed doing this one.
Awesome job man!
Thanks dude, I appreciate it!
Muito bom,top👍
\w/
Bad ass bro! I want to learn this one next
Thank you so much! This is a real fun one to play once you get it down. Good luck with learning it! \w/
you should do the whole album! 😇 @@ryanmichaelriffs

I brought you my "Bullets", you brought your "Lullaby"😂😂 @@ryanmichaelriffs
😂😂😂
Very gooood ! Musica muito boa !
Thank you VERY MUCH!!!
My man’s out here playing mark solos on a mark prs. If you know you know
Hahahaha one of the few to recognize that! Now I just need to get my hands on one of the other marks guitars and hit a cover! Thanks for checking the video out and commenting! \w/
@@ryanmichaelriffs for sure. Mark tremonti was the reason I started playing guitar, and mark holcomb is the reason I continue. I had both the holcomb burst and a trampas green version. One of my favorites
Same here! Tremonti was and is my favorite guitarist of all time. Huge fan of all his projects and guitar work. Very down to earth and humble guy too. Holcomb is on another level for me as well as an influence, and all of his signature guitars/colors are amazing, would love to get another in 7 string version.
Awesome cover.. I wonder how to make such a great guitar backing track like this. Will you be kind to share with us..?
Thank you! Honestly, all I do is play over the actual song. I record my best take, and boost the volume levels of my guitar track, and lower or pan out the volumes of the actual song track.
💯
Thank you, and for the sub! \w/
Sick axe bro
Thank you! It has definitely become my #1 go to!
Fucking amazing
Thank you, VERY MUCH!!! \w/
Nice cover man 🤘 Nice guitar tho
Thanks so much dude! Yah, it's become my new baby for sure! \w/
Great job !! Can you share the tab?
Thank you so much! I learned alot of this by ear, but the parts I referenced were through this tab.

Well done! What tunning is it?
Keep it up!

@@ryanmichaelriffs thank you! I really love this song. It wont be easy to learn but I'll do my best. Thank you again 😉
No problem! Just keep at it! This is one of my favorite songs and I never thought I'd be able to do it, let alone the solo. Just takes time and practice!
\w/
what tunne do you use man? Great job
Thank you! I appreciate that and you taking time to check it out. Tuning from low to high is DADF#AD
@@ryanmichaelriffs thanks man. Is allways a trouble to me to find the right tune when i want play tremonti's stuff. Keep rocking 🤘🎼🎶🎸
Thank you, you as well! Tremonti plays in a number of different tunings, but this one is my favorite. Little weird to get used to at first, but a great tuning for sure! \w/
torn on guitar men
That song is actually on my list of upcoming covers! Love that entire album.
Bro, teach me!!
Haha, my main "teaching" advice would be to slow down the song in UA-cam or through a DAW/App/mp3 player and learn the song or part and practice it until you are able to speed it up. That's how I've always learned!
what tuning is this in? D dropped or DADaDD?
Sorry for late response, I had issues with my account. The tuning I used for this was :
DADF#AD
(Open D tuning)
Thats last melody sometime i make a tapping...
For sure! It would have been easier that way but I tried to play it as close to how Mark plays it.
@@ryanmichaelriffs oh nice bro... 👍
Marx trimonty
One of my favorite guitarists! \w/
Bruh please please please do a tutorial 🙏🏼
When I get some more time I definitely will try and do one! Thanks for checking it out!
@@ryanmichaelriffs Thank you for replying my dude, you absolutely smashed this track so hope you eventually get some time to teach schlubbs like myself hahaha. \m/
Dude, thanks so much man, I appreciate that! I will get some time eventually, just be patient! I definitely have some more Creed covers coming as well. Haha hey I'm STILL a schlub haha. The thing I do when im REALLY struggling is slow the song/part down wether in UA-cam or through a program and learn it that way, then increase the speed to play it up to speed. Thanks for the sub! \w/
@@ryanmichaelriffs I have been doing that very thing today, I'm kinda getting bits and pieces but oh boy that solo is next level! Glad I found your channel man and can't wait to see what comes next. 😘
Just keep grinding at it, you will get it! Tremonti is a beast, ive always loved his style. That solo to some is easy but i had a rough time for it for a bit too. Thanks so much, definitely more coming! \w/
Good job my man. Tremonti is a God
Thank you so much! I agree, Tremonti is definitely a god. I am a fan of everything he has ever been involved in, especially his solo project stuff. I definitely hope to do more covers of anything involving him, but truly NOBODY can play like him.
