- The latest KX450 is not only the first totally new Kawasaki flagship model for five years, but the only truly all-new machine in the 450 class from any manufacturer for 2024.
It has a new motor with centre-port exhaust and new head, new aluminium frame, different bodywork, Brembo brakes, Traction Control, riding modes with handlebar-mounted switch and Bluetooth connectivity using the Rideology app.
MotoHead's Dave Willet rode the bike at an awesome facility in Spain, starting on a damp and slippery track that eventually turned tacky, right through to some night riding under the floodlights. Find out his verdict on the green meanie.
Solid review, cool to see this Spanish track and Dave is very relatable and I enjoy his analysis. He’s got excellent modern riding technique as well… a Vet with some padding is also relatable. Looking forward to some aftermarket development reviews. New 2024 KX is a solid platform to build on… can speak from my own experience. 😏
Gotta say this bike looks the biz, love it 👌
I think same anylisis as the last generation of Austrian bikes. They definetly improved things but this kind of a transition generation and things will need to be improved. No doubt it's a god overall bike.
14:38 missing a seat bolt already lol
Just get an old KX500 2 stroke as the 2 strokes are way faster, simple, and much lighter.
As much as I love the kx500 it’s not a good bike to use week in and week out.
@@davewillet4764 True. But for everyday use, it is fantastic!!
@@davewillet4764it is if your man enough
Never getting another kick start bike unless it’s a 125 .
Four stroke you last longer. Mx is endurance sport. Big bore two stroke wear you out in Moto”s. Four stroke for the win.
Wow from wot I've heard it's heavier and slower and much more expensive that the out going model and its late to the party well done kawasaki
One word SUZUKI
I'm hearing it has good rideable power. Jerk your arms out of socket is not rideable. Sounds to me like they did a good job
worst bike of 2024
Suzuki😂
