- Speaking to CNBC's Hadley Gamble at the Russian Energy Week conference in Moscow Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed to Xi's comments suggesting the possibility of a peaceful unification, and China's "philosophy of statehood," to suggest that there is no threat of military confrontation.
Putin is the type of guy who reads the whole terms and conditions and clicks "I disagree".

If you're a good observer, you will notice that the world economy is bouncing back , mainly due to his economic policy. I hope Biden will reduce his use of economic sanctions on so called adversaries. This will greatly boost the global economy.

Putin should not have aided Donbas, but it was clear from years of statements written and in public he intended to invade which is why it was repeatedly stated he would. Even when Putin repeatedly said he would not, we knew he would.
Sending insurgents into the region to destabilize it as a pretext to invasion was a clear sign as well as he's done in other regions.
Zelenski and his predecessors should have taken the regional conflicts more serious from the start, not that it would have made a difference as Putin would have just escalated earlier.
