    LMAO I like how you have a dino-alien and a Romulan on the thumbnail!!

    tbh, making it looking like female private parts is actually inline with the overall visual strategy of the alien franchise as geigers work WAS pretty explicitly sexualized

      yeah I have no problem with the visual . just that they added this extra step in the growth of the alien that just seems to require even MORE mass and materials being left behind , all in a few minutes and without consuming any materials in the process. they should have at least shown that cocoon thing was places on some place with a bunch of pipes or tubes or something to imply it was drawing materials from them

      @@NitpickingNerd oh yeah i am in line with your observation regarding the biomass -- it was merely an observation on my part that if its sexually represented, THAT part is actually fine xD

    At least there was here an Appriciation to this frenchise, unlike what happens to other frenchises.

    4:53 don't forget it literally just burned a hole in the main hull of the ship then into the ejectable storage container.. once its ejected, somehow the ship can still maintain atmosphere.. 🙄

    Fantastic video as usual! Still not sold on deepfakes (morally/creatively), but the continuity angle is very appealing. Part of the appeal of your edits, in my opinion- is the disparate sources you stitch together!

    Maybe the scientists somehow bred them to go through their life cycle at hyper speed. The face huggers we saw were encased in those plastic things. Maybe those face huggers were the product of genetic engineering? I know it still doesn't really make sense, but it's the only thing I can think of to explain why it's so much faster in this movie.

    • @FleskPaddaProd
      @FleskPaddaProd День тому

      The thing that goes against that is that these facehuggers werent made to impregnate people, they just wanted to get the black goo from them. That was the goal, as far as we know. A line or two to acknowledge the growth speed wouldve made me much happier with the movie.

    I vaguely remember Ridley Scott hating on the idea of the Alien Queen, and stating that the movies produced by him would ignore it. So that’s the reason why the aliens suddenly can lay eggs and all.

      @NitpickingNerd  День тому

      we can just assume any drone can become a queen and then lay eggs lol

    Also, thank you for continuing to make awesome, entertaining content despite your neighbors being warmongering assholes.. if only we could take Riley's advice from Aliens, as pertaining to our enemies..

    The alien acid blood wouldnt just hang suspended mid air. It spurted out and should keep going, splashing on the walls, floor and ceiling. There should be multiple holes everywhere.

    • @NitpickingNerd
      @NitpickingNerd  День тому

      that misconception happens in most sci-fi movies / shows that whenever a starship loses gravity everyone and everything floats to the middle of the room and stays there suspended , instead of bumping into the walls

    I hate!!! Every movie where a Monster just grows without consuming food or passing time.

    Alien: Romulus had so many idiotic decisions, and blatant retcon short cuts, etc I was struggling to watch it.

    Garbage movie. It was nothing, but memberberries to better Alien movies.
    As for how the baby looks like the Engineers, it's because the black goo unlocked their recessed genes in human DNA.
