Whether you fashion a scoop or not, I guarantee ya there is nothing painful about watching you boys getting that gold outta the pan and onto that scale for us to see...however, whenever or whichever method you are running at the time I will be hanging to check that shit out ( actually even "if ever"...cos a good deep hot rock is enough to keep the juices flowing 😁) Thanks for sharing...Cheers boys 🍻🍻👍

Doesn’t lose much gold mate, some specimen bits can float through though. We did sample the overburden and we detect it with the gold monster. 👍🏽🍻

What an awesome place to work, not only gold but a great view! Leonora area does not give a view like that. You know of couse you need to crush all those rocks you moved to dry things out.? you can fashion a nice little scoop or tray out of a beer can, but you will need to empty it first. great stuff keep it going!

You need to crush the quartz ore when you can't detect or dry blow. There is a lot of it about, and the detector won't always tell you if there is gold in it or not. Save the crushed cons and do an aqua rega separation too!
I hope it dries out soon so you can get into the dry blowing, it looks like it could be rich ground!

One of those keene vacumes would be the go to clean up the remaining dirt off the bedrock to tip in the dry blower.

@WestOzAdventures just try something cheap on a patch with some cheap kinda vac to see if it'll be worth doing first, but if sure it would be. I've seen a few vids of the guys in US Arizona desert doing that kinda thing.
