Genuinely broke my heart today when I went to watch Craig of the Creek and found the page like this… how could they have not sent us a notice?? A warning?? I just don’t get why we were left in the dark about this
I mean, TBS's and TNT's websites are very barebones at this point. They might shut down their sites soon. If not, then yeah, CN is seriously in question
I am sure this is the new addition in the “CN is dying, but not really” saga. Kids don’t go on the Internet browser to watch shows and play games from a cable network, they have a tablet for all of this.
Fair, but if you look to their competitors, it's not a good look. Nick's website is still up, running and thriving. Nickelodeon airs all day long with Nick@Nite staying in the timeslots it always has. Disney Channel too, DISNEY CHANNEL of all channels still has /a/ website up (I'm specifiying "A" because it's called "Disney Now" apparently) and full air-time, no minimized scheduling. Sure, could this be part of the "alarming but not really" thing? Sure. But it's not a good look for sure, not just standalone, but especially compared to its competitors. You think Nickelodeon even considers Cartoon Network as competition anymore since CN only airs for what, 10 hours a day? If that. I dunno, just seems really too iffy to not be concerned. Definitely seems like and feels like the company is going down a dark path.

My prediction is they will close the Cartoon Network channel, but keep the name around as a brand like DC Comics, and still produce movies or animated shows/features under that branding.
Cartoon Network's website should've stayed up and restore other Cartoon Network shows that haven't been airing like Mixels for example. I'm sad that the website shut down. 😢
Not to be a cynic, but I’m pretty sure the writing on the wall is very clear for Cartoon Network. Very sad since it was my favorite channel growing up, though they’ve made poor decisions for many years in my opinion, stiffing creators like Maxwell Atoms who helped shape its iconic legacy. The path they’ve been on has been pretty self-destructive and I don’t think there’s really a way out at this point, as far as what corporate heads are willing to go for.
@@Jakoshi JACK! ❤️ Hard agree 💯 My prediction is that eventually the channel will phase out, but Cartoon Network will live on as a "brand" under Warner Bros. that still creates content under that brand. I blame David Zaslav. He should be fired as CEO and hire someone who actually gives a shit about all of WBs properties. He only bought it to sell it off to other companies. A Wyle E Coyote movie, A holiday Scoob movie, and a live action Batgirl movie were all finished but not released because Zaslav is a dick and used them as tax write offs. Heartless man. No wonder WBD is $41.4 billion in debt!
People need to learn to take good care and protect the great stuff that we used to love, bro. Not letting things die when they need the help to survive, bro. But its all that thanks for David Zaslav, the guy who canceled many cartoon network movies including canceling movies like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy Movie because of the excuse that no kid knows who is The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, another movies were canceled by David Zaslav to save more than $3 Billion Dollars to the company instead finished it and put it on movie theaters and make Billions of Dollars in Revenue in Return. David Zaslav doesnt know how business works and thats very concerning and a red flag that he is going to destroy the whole company in the world. Look, remember when David Zaslav came as a CEO of The Hub back in 2014 and look what he did to The Hub Network? He replaced The Hub Network with Discovery Family and look how he ruined the network. Preschool Shows in the morning and afternoon and night, reality shows. Really? I wish they bring Discovery Kids and The Hub Network back, bro. Also we need to fix Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Bring Back the Webage of Cartoon Network, etc. We need to protect the industry, not burning the industry down, bro. These executives of these days are so greedy and they only care and think about the money but thats why they are bankrupt in the first place because when they act greedy, they act so desperate in making quick and dumb decisions that hurts everyone in the industry. David Zaslav should have know better that if he had left those new movies from Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network Studios after he bought Warner Bros. he could have make billions of dollars of revenue instead saving $3 Billions Dollars which is the dumbest decisions I ever seen in my life, bro. Because whats the point saving 3 Billions Dollars when you still have Billions of Dollars in Debt? How he is going to pay all that debt if he is not making any money to pay that money back to the banks? I mean if he was smart enough, he could have left all those jobs and letting the workers finish the movies and projects and put all those brand new movies on the movie theaters instead putting on HBO Max. Because putting those new releases on the streaming app is dumb because the streaming apps was always unprofitable and it is proven streaming apps like Disney+ thats why the jack up the prices of streaming devices to try to reduce the lost profits, bro. The Movie Theathers and Physical Copies are the only sources that are profitable, other than that is unprofitable and makes companies goes on a huge debt crises and bankruptcy, bro. We need to stop that before its too late, bro. As for the cartoons, I understand that making Cartoons is expensive but like I told you use the Movie Theathers and the Physical Copies like DVD, Blu Ray, etc to boost the companies revenue and that way he could lower drastically the debt and that it would be worth spending few millions of dollars on Payroll on making good quality cartoons but get in return Billions of Dollars of revenue and he doesnt understand that, bro. Maybe its a risky move but it its worth for every penny, bro. Killing the projects would destroy the whole company and thats why his terrible decisions would burn the whole company down in the long run to the point that is going to be unfixable bro.
