The three levels of success on skill rolls remind me a lot of the old Alternity RPG from TSR. I think it's an excellent tool to enhance description and effects of skill rolls
Hey first of all, this video was incredibly well done! You were super informative the whole time, thanks for putting this together! Also I recently ordered Call of Cthulhu and I am getting ready to run my first game of it ever with a couple of friends. I plan to start with a one shot and maybe something longer next time. One campaign that I really want to try in the future is Masks of Nyarlathotep. I was hoping you might actually review that sometime, I noticed you mentioned it in your video and I’ve been dying to buy it once I get the funds. Anyways great channel and reviews!
