- Dr Adeboye writes his own Bible. Contrary to the teachings of God revealed in the written word, he claims he has been to heaven, and even seen his own 'house'! We can only pray for God's mercy for the millions of people being deceived by this servant of the Devil, that they would open their eyes to the words written in the Bible, and flee from the grand deception.
The story of Lazarus the beggar and the rich man is a Parable. Just because the writers of that record didnt specify it as Parable doesn't nullify it as one. In comparison,we also have the story of the good Samaritan in Luke 10, which also isn't titled a Parable. Parables are told especially by Jesus Christ to teach Object Lessons about the Kingdom of Almighty YHWH and Heaven.

If you read through the book of Acts you will understand that Paul's revelation teachings were actually from the scriptures ie. The Old testament books. There was nothing from heaven, just the revelation of what was already written, the understanding of Jesus from the Old testament.

I understand that it is an immaterial realm but not a state of mind. Those dead in Christ, are they in a state of mind or the immaterial realm, ie., the spirit? Unless you want to tell us that death is also a state of mind. I believe you understand when the scriptures say, mortality shall put on immortality. The body that Jesus rose with was the spiritual/immaterial body and believers will be clothed with the same. It is definitely not a state of mind.

Such terms as "Immaterial body" should be used thoughtfully. It is a translated or enraptured body which transformation is the doing of ALMIGHTY YHWH. We don't know what and how it is but we shall live with it and to call it 'immaterial' is going beyond self.

What people dont know is,the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.God can call a man His vessel even when hes still in sin( eg Cyrus,a pagan king was used by God to set the Jews free from bondage).God can show a non- believer certain things.Jesus ate with sinners.His ways are clearly not our ways.Neither His thoughts.Its not all about spirituality.God can show us things we do not deserve to see.Some people die,see hell n heaven n return.Its not because they are perfect,its because God wants it so.

Cyrus was appointed for the release/return of the exiled hebrews, and the prophetic letter by Isaiah was at least 150 years before his reign. In that, God demonstrates His sovereignty.
Cyrus was never appointed to pastor or lead God's people, because he knows not God nor His word. He was used in spite of his ignorance of Yahweh.

These panels of Judges' interpretation of Luke 16: 19- 31 is highly flawed: Jesus didn't say one may not be allowed access to heaven and back to recount his/her experiences, but transferring the burden of proof of the convincing the unbeliever into accepting the realities of the afterlife as to be moved to repentance and change of life.

When Paul recalled that he knew of a man who appeared to be in heaven,whether in body or in the realms, he was talking about himself but forbade himself to speak of the things he heard and saw.
