What a lovely comment to start the day on. Thank you so much. He would be amazed that we are at nearly 3000 subscribers, we were on 126 when he died and he was so excited about that number. Have a great day.
Dom, I can’t ask you to choose for me, but have you experience of Sea Eagle Explorer 380x? It’s slightly bulkier, perhaps more rugged, but more spacious for kit. Trying to choose - for river camping, lochs in Scotland, and leisurely coastal - solo with dog! Thanks and best wishes.
I have no idea how it handles as I’ve not been on one but it’s rated for class IV rapid so must be pretty heavy duty. Sorry can’t help more. If you buy one let me do a review of it!
@@TheOptimisticAdventurer ok I will! It’s between that and the Chelan 140. Was set on the Sea Eagle until I watched your videos. Prefer the looks of the Chelan, which looks faster. Hoping it would have enough space for camping with tent etc? And be rugged enough too?
They are very similar, VERY similar. The differences are the seats, side tensioners and position of the screw plates. The seats on this are definitely better, that’s 100%. The carabiners on the seats are a pain but that’s easily fixed. The colour and design are different and some will Like the Chelan and some this, personal choice. If I was buying a boat yesterday, id be torn on which to get. Today though, I have just finished filming the Tenaya 160 video and that would be top of my list.
Lovely and professional review, I think you have found a great place for a review as well 👌

Very well done, informative, enthusiastic and helpful. Many thanks.
Thanks Stuart. I’ve literally just got off the water from testing the Tenaya 160, that vid will be live next week.

@@stuartburns8192 definitely rugged enough, I’ve treated mine terribly and it’s still going 2 years on.
nice review mate :)
Thanks buddy.
As far as i see, this kayak is very similar to aquaglide chelan but cheaper. Does it worth to buy chelan? What’s the difference?

@@TheOptimisticAdventurerinteresting. I will be waiting for the video of the 160. Thanks man! 🙂
I’ll try and get it up in the next few days for you.
Definitely a Chelan copy.
I couldn’t possibly comment. But yes, I’ve done a side by side video of this and the Chelan 140.
