Vertical scrolling shoot 'em up from Konami featuring some decent graphics and audio effects. It's the usual affair: blasting waves of enemies; collecting power-ups and shooting down bosses. The difficulty in the later stages proved to be particularly oppressive, especially if you don't select and upgrade the auto-fire cannon; I foresee crippling RSI in your future if you choose anything but this.
Other than that, Lightning Fighters has some cool sprite scaling effects, with waves of enemy fighters whizzing over the top of the player's craft, and production values, as expected for Konami, are really good in general. It's not the best game in it's class, but it's certainly up there, so definitely worth a look.

The left player fighter is also unlockable in Airforce Delta Strike. That game is fairly mediocre, but the unlockable content is pretty great, if you like old Konami shooters.

I have a hard time playing this game. It ramps up in difficulty fairly quickly for me. But I love watching it. It’s just got so much style.

Love it I don’t have a good eye sight so my reflexes sucks , but this is my favorite kind of video games an ur my hero , ur good, but the last boss kinda suck I thought it was tougher but good thank u bra 🤔😃❤️🇺🇸

Awesome 2d graphics, even at 2024... but very very absurd difficult.... imposibble beyond 2nd level.... i hate say this, really.... can't enjoy sooo difficult games from the arcades mame-32......

I cant give you a list but if you are looking for an easy shmup "Thunder Cross" is the answer for sure. It also has a sequel "Thunder Cross 2" which is harder but i dont think it is super hard.
Another game i can think of is "Viper Phase 1" it is basically Raiden but much easier.

Batsugun special version and deathsmiles. None of these are “easy” games. These two are just easier to get into imo.
