The thing in the JT hand that I think I would miss, and I'd guess many others in real time, is that we don't actually have "real" showdown value vs Low/Micro pools here at all. I wager most players are going "phew, I can give up here" and checking, then losing 90%+ of the time and feeling stupid for the turn call. Villain isn't bluffing with air and then giving up with stuff that didn't connect, and players who aren't amazing probably don't even have the J9s at all which is all we beat in regards to made hands that could bluff
I'm struggling to fully understand this analysis, which books or other resources would you suggest as prerequisites to understanding this level of analysis?
on the JT hand, how come you went with B66% instead of allin on the river? I think you can jam in his face and put his whole range in pain. His 2p prob have an easy call vs. your B66%
Some regs will level themselves into a call there if they are afraid of getting exploited because they know how capped their snapcheck range is. But I agree, it probably outperforms b66 vs. weaker regs
In the 45s hand minute 20, most of villains Jx would have bet the turn so he doesnt reach the river with so many of them. Thats why in gto IP can value bet straights to 150%. Villains range has straight only 17% of the time. So for sure if we pot bet as a bluff he cant just call us with Jx to be profitable. I think in practice he will even have less straights, as its very easy to bluff all Jx on turn and solver will check some.
Nice one bro, you're an excellent communicator. I'm an MTT player, so am not even looking for cash vids, but somehow I keep getting stuck in this node of the UA-cam Rabbit Hole. Is that why you call it the Carrot Corner?
I have a question. What kind of player type do you do these plays against? Passive Recs and regs? Spew fish are calling bottom pair and top pair weak kicker all day.
Write a note that says " Don't bluff that guy". Value bet their face off, unless you play anonymous zoom pools, then you will have to look for timing tells. As for figuring out timing tells, I couldn't tell you where to look, you just kind of get a feel for it after playing a bunch of hands.
Im sry im not doing this very often but i have to share my sadness. I got ticket into Power Path Spin and Go by making some rake at Stars we can get daily 0.50 $ ticket and somehow by some miracle happen to fight for 109$ power path ticket . I was excited. Tried to play my best. I double up early almost eliminiating one of rivals and then doomswitch was on. Open min A5o on BU got called by mega shortie with 55 on BB . He doubled up. Then same guy had 240 i opened K9s on BU got called in two spots .Flop mono 9c8c and some low card in clubs i dont remember they checked to me i bet half shortie shoved with 96d and instead of eliminating him we chop. After that i was able to pick up some pots and build up to 740 again .Then I was in SB vs second player in BB with 280. Now he was shortie and kinda tight so i jammed my J10o got called by K2o i was kinda shocked cause he was tight up to this point but i still had 47% percent equity and i ofc lost . ANd then my final hand happened i was in BB with 88 . BU jammed on 15 blinds i snapped he had 55 and ofc eliminates me by making boat :(. I almost cried how bad i ran in such an opportunity to get into nice tournament and have chance to fight for decent money . I know it was just ticket i could also run bad in the main tournament. But i was so shocked to hit such a great multiplier ticket chance and i feel i played very decent but i literally ran absolutely awful in crucial spots . Sry for this Spin and Go Bad beat story but i had to share it. It was over 200x multiplier the biggest up to this point and it was such a sad disappoinment that i literally cant do nothing cause cards just wasnt my way :(

Hi Pete, in Q7s & 54s hands where there were 4 cards to street you choose different sizings to bluff. Is there any specific reasons to it ?
Pete has transformed me from a fish to some other kind of edible sea creature.
What about the same spot but the turn goes x/x, still bluff the river if he checks? And same sizing?

Pete @31:32 you said weaker players would fold KJ...Wouldn't you fold KJ either especially without diamonds????

What would be the weakest hand you usually call with in villain's shoes in the JTo hand? AhJ?
