This routine was inspired by a piece of Greek Mythology that I loved when I was growing up. It was a story of a goddess, Persephone, who gets tricked by Hades, the God of the underworld. He tempts Persephone into eating 6 pomegranate seeds while she is in the underworld but the food of the underworld comes at a terrible price. For 6 months out of the year, one for each seed she eats, Persephone must live in the underworld with Hades. Persephone's mother was the Goddess of Harvest so for the 6 moths that Persephone is in the underworld every year, her mother mourns her daughter and no plants grow. This explains why no plants grow during the 6 months of fall and winter.

0:41 WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT. Love the eyes.. so expression-ful dancing- can act. I wonder if she makes up for her precision and coordination in dance by her *extreme unco-ness IRL (See her channel for real life examples, it's hilarious. Love Hanagami's chorey as always..the flying at the end, good videographer too, got the good angles for the chorey :) LOVE LOVE you guys and this piece of work. It's so powerful
I'm glad I've read the description, knowing what the dance is about gives me chills. I loved the choreography, but it was so intense thanks to the perfect expressions of the dancers. I think I will never stop loving Kyle's work, it's perfection in every aspect.

I love Kyle's movement and seeing this was refreshing. This one is different from the others that I have seen because it felt so desperate it wasn't just nice to watch, it was exciting and captivating and made me really think of the movement instead just how pretty the dancers are or the dance itself. The of the lack of suspension used in this one replaced with hard stops gave an impact to me to want to see more extension and time to watch one move flow into the other but that's not the point it kept me on edge and uncomfortable in a good way and it really brought out a different emotion that I personally haven't seen in a dance before. It made me want to see more of this dance ❤️
Your choreography always blows me away. So many intricate details so beautifully executed. I have no idea how I would even imagine your thought process to be like and I have no clue what goes through that mind of yours, but whatever it is it's genius.
