@AlesisVideo, is there a searchable library of the factory sounds anywhere? I love the variety but 6GB is daunting to search through on the Multipad itself.
How about the ability to tune samples in real time? And also the ability to beat-match sample loops to kit/external clock tempo? And while we're at it, how about the ability to quantize and undo in the looper? Tempo syncing of FX would be a huge added bonus as well. Version 1.4?????
How can I program each pad to make only one sound each? Because each pad when I hit it makes 2 different sounds on one pad . I don’t want it to do that’s how can I stop it.
The Multipad currently does not support assigning sounds to a pad. The issue is with Firmware version V1.30. Does anyone know when Alesis will update the firmware to reinstate this feature?
Can you guys please implement something for auto assigning 1 instrument to all pads so that you don't have to individually drop each note on each pad. A computer interface would be a god send for doing all this stuff.

why is a pad limited to 2 samples? i didnt buy the roland spd because it couldnt decide on samples based on velocity at all. this thing can, but why only 2?? and if you want alternating samples you cant choose the samples with velocity at all. this is a software issue, why do you not grant your hardware basic sampling-functionality?
Hi there, I just got a Strike Multipad a few days ago and these tutorials a very helpful to get going! I've noticed that most of the factory samples have an 'a' and a 'b' version, so for example in this video you chose the factory kick drum sample '26RKing a'... and the next sample in line is is '26RKing b'... my question is what is the differnce between the a and the b? They sound very similar if not identical to me. If we allocated '26RKing a" to wave A and '26RKing b" to wave B and set the mode to 'RoundRobin'... would it sound any different than just allocating '26RKing a' to Wave A and have the mode on 'OneShot'... Many thanks is advance!
Hi again... another question I have is how to set the velocities in the mix menu so that when I hit the pad softer Wave A is triggered and when I hit the pad harder Wave B is triggered? For example to be able to play more realistic snare rolls (not so machine gun like) by having for example a snare center sample on wave A and a snare rim sample sample on wave B... many thanks! :)

Can you change the key or pitches on the melodic percussion patches? Going up down a whole step etc..

can the pads used drumming with hands or fingers ? so use it like a precaution with no drum sticks ?

You can assign the Pitch effect to your kit and control pitch up and down with the A-Link knobs on the fly.
