Could you clarify about strawberries being a high sugar fruit? From everything I’ve ever known and researched they are considered a low sugar fruit. I’m just trying to figure out which is correct. Thank you very much. I’m enjoying your videos. 😊

It is actually pronounced Kvass (like it is written). The word is already phonetically translated from Cyrillic. In Russian it is written квас, the B Sounds Like a V and the C sounds like an S

I was already subscribed to your channel as well as I been subscribed to the Stivers Homestead for a long time, and a few of the others I more recently subscribed to. I'm thrilled at all the new channels I'm discovering from this fun collaboration instigated by Fermented Homestead.
Can't wait to try this! If we don't have our own homeade whey, how do we source it? Also can you use dried or frozen fruits and/or veggies? What about dried herbs? Thanks!

You can strain whey from yogurt or kefir. I think dried would be okay but I'm not sure.
