    Another amazing ferment to try. This whole idea has been so interesting to watch. Have a lot of blackberries in the freezer to use up so I think a batch of this would be great to try.

    Could you clarify about strawberries being a high sugar fruit? From everything I’ve ever known and researched they are considered a low sugar fruit. I’m just trying to figure out which is correct. Thank you very much. I’m enjoying your videos. 😊

    Awesome episode. Fun facts - Kvass is northern European, Russian & outlying states. The V is pronounced like U, (soft) My grandfather is a Kvasnikoff, or Kvasnikov. 🍻

      It is actually pronounced Kvass (like it is written). The word is already phonetically translated from Cyrillic. In Russian it is written квас, the B Sounds Like a V and the C sounds like an S

    Can't wait to try this! If we don't have our own homeade whey, how do we source it? Also can you use dried or frozen fruits and/or veggies? What about dried herbs? Thanks!

      You can strain whey from yogurt or kefir. I think dried would be okay but I'm not sure.
