*Is Betsy dead?* - I was browsing another video and found a great take posted by a fellow watcher who said that Betsy may not really be dead. It is possible that the captain made the story up in a despicable attempt to destroy the last bit of will to live in Kreese. However, he miscalculated and his words ended up driving Kreese over the edge to commit his first true murder in cold blood, setting him on the path of darkness. The real message was that Betsy had become pregnant with his child. I tend to believe this theory has legs because it would open many avenues of story telling that would flesh out the Kreese character even more and show a more sympathetic and vulnerable side to him. If this is true and incorporated into the story, we could see the return of an aged Betsy who reveals the true identity of Kreese's child... or maybe she died at childbirth and the child disappeared. *Who is Johnny’s real dad?* - one of the most intriguing questions of the show and there are several avenues they could go. Here are I think the three most obvious routes they can go. 1. He is an unrelated character to the rest of the established canon who died before Johnny was born and so Johnny never knew him and we never learned anything more from him. 2. He is an unrelated character who will turn up later in the series and try to establish some kind of relationship with Johnny. 3. He is someone established in canon, and the biggest most devastating revelation would be if his name was John Kreese. Would the writers do this? The only way I would want them to write it (IF they decide to do this) is if neither Johnny or Kreese knew the truth for their entire lives. Then the truth is revealed to them by Betsy or maybe someone else. The truth that Johnny's mom was not his birth mother (she was actually a relative or an unrelated adoptive mother of Betsy's son). If this is true. it changes everything about the entire franchise from KK1 until now. It also changes Kreese because he would realize the woman he loved as a young solider, that woman left him a son who he destroyed with his twisted teachings. It would break both Johnny and Kreese to their core, but it might also do something to change the relationship for the better, and dare I say set Kreese on a bit of a redemptive arc? *Shouldn’t Tory go to jail for the LaRusso home invasion? * - Yes she should and I suspect she will be in prison at the start of Season 4 where she will spend a few episodes mingling among the prisoners, and maybe recruit a new female member for Cobra Kai. She will not stay in prison long however because Terry Silver and his influence will pull strings to get her released. *Did Daniel almost kill Kreese and Johnny nod his affirmation? * - I almost interpreted it the same way that you did, but then I thought no for two reasons. 1. Daniel was never trained by Miyagi to kill, he was trained to defend and only attack to incapacitate. 2. He has not had time to learn the secret scroll he got from Chozen (which with be a big story point in S4) which presumably has the instructions on the deadly moves. So I think he was going to knock him unconscious. But in S4, I wonder if Daniel will learn the secret techniques, and if Silver and Kreese push him too far (remember the words "real pain" is about to begin) and maybe really hurt one of his students, would Daniel be driven to use the moves on someone and be arrested for assault or something. And what if one of his students learns the moves in secret and creates trouble, it will be very interesting to see what happens here. *If Thomas Ian Griffith insists he is retired and no longer wishes to act, are we going to see a replacement for him, or could Kreese be calling someone else, like Mike Barnes? * I think it is 95% confirmed that Terry Silver will be apart of S4. If the actor no longer wishes to act and nothing can convince him to return, they will likely recast with a lookalike. As for mike Barnes, we could see him in S4, but if we do I don't want him to be another henchmen of Kreese and Silver. I'd much rather him be his own man like Johnny. Maybe be a grey area/neutral character who doesn't want to join either side and only wants to stay out of the conflict. *How the heck did someone get snakes into the auto dealership?* - I'm not sure, but it was certainly a very dramatic and intense moment this season, and also very in line with Kreese's teachings and his methods. *Where will Aisha be next season? Will she finally see the light and leave Cobra Kai?* I have nothing against the actress or the character but I personally don't need to see her back again. I never felt she was essential to the story, and there are many other characters I'd much rather see return or be further developed on. *A few of my S4 Predictions* - The season finale will not feature the All Valley tournament. This will be saved for season 5. - Terry Silver to return and feature as the main antagonist, Barnes may or may not be back. - Yasmine is slowly convinced by her now boyfriend Dimitri to try out karate, and she actually starts to like it after a rough learning curve, and begins to train herself. This gives Sam a girlfriend who likes karate too. - Daniel may lose his dealership or worse as Cobra Kai starts using extremely viscous methods to target Miyagi do students and both he and Johnny - Robby will become very corrupted and this will hurt Johnny immensely while also pushing him closer with Miguel who becomes the "good" son. - There will be a major death or something really bad will happen to one of the characters - Major secrets revealed about Kreese and Silver's pasts that could tie into Johnny and Daniel - Johnny and Daniel will struggle to work together throughout the season but eventually their two styles will merge into one - Dimitri and Hawk/Eli's relationship will go through some ups and downs as they build back their trust in each other - No breakups between the two primary teen couples (Sam&Miguel and Robby&Tory) - At least one character from the Next Karate Kid will start to be referenced on the show, and if I had to choose, It would be Julie Pierce herself who will turn up in the season 4 finale to setup season 5 - The end of the season sets up the rivalries/matchups clearly for the all valley.
It did take all of season 3. But as a person with a spine injury, I know it went pretty quick. For me though, Miguel’s recovery sequence had the effect of expanding the timeline of the show. S3 needed some brakes, it’s fast-paced.
I think the letter to Kreese was Betsy saying she wasn’t waiting. She was running off with a “Jody” as they say. I think Kreese comes back to the world and finds out. 4 or 5 months did seem kind of quick for Miguel’s recovery. But they did show he wasn’t 100 % at the house fight.
I thought the same about Miguel and Sam. That was one of the only things that didn’t like this season. Daniel didn’t like it either. And of course Robby sees them. I didn’t like his response. I was expecting at least a snarky glad to see I didn’t kill you or glad to see you walking. It was like none of that crossed his mind. He didn’t even seem surprised to see Miguel in person on his feet. Last time he saw him he was laying in a heap on the stairs. It seems like even if he heard thru the grapevine he’d still be surprised and relieved momentarily in person. Then he goes to hit Miguel ?! Of course Miguel was butting in though. The scene was okay for what it was. I though it could’ve been better or made more sense if he and Miguel and/or he and Sam could’ve had a scene before this bad timing run in.
Did anybody notice how the scene of Daniel seeing the little girl that he saved in KK2 with the message of putting good out and good will find you mirrors Kreese's story with the fact that he saved Terry Silver's life and now Terry Silver owes him. I predict that Silver will save Kreese's life at least for season 4 (directly or indirectly) just like the little girl all grown up saved Daniel's Business. Like 2 opposite sides of the same coin. P.S. I love how we finally got interaction between Miguel and Daniel because I always thought that Miguel is most like Daniel than Johnny (even though Johnny will always be his sensai.
Sam definitely came into her own this season. Her development was good. Only thing I didn’t like (Daniel didn’t either) was now all of a sudden she’s back with Miguel. And of course Robby sees them in a compromised position. I think she needs to just be friends and training buddies with Miguel. Funny Robby and Kyler are exes of hers and they are both cobra Kai now.
This season made me feel spoiled. everything I wanted to see, I got it and I’m satisfied. I came in hating certain characters and coming out loving them and the other way around.
He asked for your match-ups for season four, well here goes. I'd like to see Johnny-Kreese, Daniel-Barnes, Miguel-Robby, Hawk-Kyler, Sam-Tory, and while I think it's cool they joined forces I'd still want to see Daniel and Johnny have their Rocky-Apollo match.
So I came off social media for a while just before the start of season 3 because there were too many spoilers and I am catching up on CK content creator videos like yourself and Bonsai Kai Dojo from the last couple of months. I love hearing your passion and how excited you are 😃. I remember that feeling and have been feeling that way all over again when rewatching all 3 seasons. So happy about Hawk/Eli and Dmitri the binary brothers! And Chozen! Never thought I would love him so much. Honk! 🤣 They need to bring him back in some capacity in season 4. So I will be watching more of your videos over the next few weeks, trying to catch up. Plus I finally got Disney+ and watched the Mandalorian. Bloody Amazing! Even the music gets me excited. Just OMFG.
Robby has gone through his ‘Anakin’ phase in Seasons 1-3 and now he’ll probably go through the ‘Darth Vader’ phase in season 4 with Kreese ‘Palpatine’ fully manipulating him. His redemption in the end will probably be similar to Vader but it will be interesting to see at what cost.
The All Valley shouldn’t happen until season 5 or 6, Cobra Kai needs new recruits, and Johnny and Daniel going have to train there students with there different type of karate....
I agree sadly there won‘t be a happy ending for Robby, but they 100% won‘t kill him off. If he dies, that automatically means a tragic end for the show as it would result in the main character losing his kid! His death would be far more tragic to Johnny than Darth Vader/Harry was for Luke/Spiderman (they tried killing them multiple times). He might go to prison though (if he does have a Vader/Osborn/Solo arc, he might actually end up killing Kreese who knows..)
Potentially! I really hope Robby comes through. I've said it before Robby will have the best arc across the entirety of the show. One that pays off in the long run kind of thing
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 yeah same. In the first two seasons he was almost like a fusion between Daniel and Johnny‘s teen-selves, and now by joining Cobra Kai he‘s following Daniel‘s arc in part 3 (lured in by a dirtbag after he was „abandoned“ by his mentor). So I‘m still holding hope for him. Also, once/when he „recovers“, he might (hopefully) start to understand why his dad was so messed up
@@youngstars4144 that's definitely the next part of his arc! Redemption could he still on the cards for him in the long run. Will definitely have a scene in future where he remembers Miyagi Do teachings and how he changed for the better. And will move on from Sam but first he must embrace the Dark Side. He will definitely have a moment like Hawk did in a moment of desperation.
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 yeah agreed. Kind of a shame though that he has no future with Sam tbh. I kind of liked the idea of having the two rivals‘ kids go out😂😂😂😂😂
Kreese and Tory are your clear Antagonists through Season 3. Everyone else is stuck in a Grey area. Come Season 4, Terry Silver and possibly Mike Barnes will join the Antagonist club. I believe Robby will be redeemed and not dead by the end of Season 4.
Idk I got feeling we might not get mike barnes till season 5 for some reason Edited: I could see terry recruiting Dutch from prison in later seasons as antagnaist in the corner. Other than that I dont know what season 6 antagonist could be? If kreese would even last that long
Chozen one! :-) You talk in this video about wishing to see Black/White gi’s for Johnny and Daniel’s students as they’ve merged Dojos. Lol, way back before Season 3 ever came out (like 8 months before the premiere) I had a made a fan poster showing just that! I’d really love to show it to you!! :-)
Robby’s moment is definitely the saddest thing ever!! I put it in a tiktok video “saddest moment” and I got so much hate 😭💔 like people are just straight rude, heartless and only see bad in people which is extremely sad
My predictions for next season: 1. There is going to be a hawk like arc for Robby and Kyler. 2. Johnny should become miguel's stepfather. 3. Chozen and johnny meet each other. 4. Johnny's stepfather dies and leaves him a ton of money. 5. More on yasmine and demetri. 6. Ali's kids join eagle fang/miyagi do. 7. Flashbacks to mr. Miyagi and samantha as a kid, as well as mr. Miyagi with daniel as he is growing up. 8. Miguel's real father is revealed. 9. Terry Silver and Mike Barnes show up. What do you think could be possible from the above list?
Aside from #1, #3 and #6, the rest seems about right. Kyler and Robby don’t have a history, they don’t have an established friendship that went south. #3: I don’t see Chozen coming for the next season. Too soon. He served a specific purpose #6) I don’t think Ali is coming back so soon either. She also served a specific purpose. I don’t think her kids will be involved.
I think # 4 is necessary. Johnny needs an income, since Miyagi-Do doesn’t charge. This could start arguments with Johnny and Daniel since Johnny would need to charge money. Johnny working at the car dealership wouldn’t fly.
@@oshwindang897 I think Kyler is a natural douche, unless there is some more backstory on his character. The greatest redemption would be Kreese himself. What if Kreese himself ended up turning on Cobra Kai.
@@obiclone that probably wont happen because he has already done so much shit to gain control of cobra kai...he almost killed johnny for it. What could happen tho is Mike barnes turning his back on cobra kai...or maybe silver putting some sense into kreese's head? As for kyler, sure he was a jerk, but he wasn't the fighting machine hawk was, and he has the potential to be if kreese correctly manipulates him; and so does Robby....u saw the way he was fighting Johnny...
You can't bag on Tory and praise Robby. Tory has more of a hard time than Roby. She has no parents. Hell, she is being a parent to her dying parent. And that is not easy. I can tell you from experience. It does something to you. Tory is not all bad. Its like Kreese and Vader says. Evil is a matter of perspective or a point of view. Any ways, I want an Eagle Fang t-shirt.
Very true, it's mostly because Robby was turning it around, and did a stupid mistake in the heat of anger. Tory has been relentlessly assaulting everyone since the school fight and is borderline psycho. She is very sympathetic but Robby I feel is a good kid at heart. Her on the other hand, not so much Eagle Fang.....no idea if that will still be a thing in S4 definitely a unique idea
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 I think you should watch a third time and reconsider Tory a bit. Who did she relentlessly assault since the school fight? Hawk was worse than her the whole season until the the last few minutes. She showed up to the laser tag course and got a couple random kicks in, that’s it. Oh she called Sam out. But that’s it. She did encourage the arm break so did the other cobras, Hawk was the one who did it. She was admittedly surprised Hawk did it. She looked disturbed by the beat down Hawk put on the bully. Sam had a dream sequence. She beat the potential new girl at cobra Kai. not any worse than any of the others we saw. Then she shows up with all the cobras including Hawk to house fight. She did yell no mercy. She did follow Sam to the dojo. Got a good kick in because Sam was having a panic attack. Only actual psycho thing she did was then immediately go for the chucks. Sam is definitely the focus of her anger. Then Miguel and Hawk tell her to stop. She calls them traitors. Understandstable. She still really liked Miguel. Hawk in her presence in season 2 and 3 declared “cobra Kai for life.”Kreese has become a father figure to both Tory and Robby. He is of course manipulating them. But he has also helped them out and been consistently strong. No doubt or confusion from him unlike Johnny and Daniel. I think both of them are redeemable. Tory would have to have some kind of life saving moment like miyagi saved Sato I think. Also I don’t want to see Sam and Miguel together beyond friend. I don’t want Robby and Tory to be together beyond friends either.
I think Daniel will give him a job selling cars and that will be funny. There will be plenty of arguments about how the dojo should be run. I bet they argue if fees should be charged too.
He had too much training with Daniel for it all to go to waste, but depending on what he does next season, could very well determine where he ends up in future!
Tbf it may even result in johnny giving up karate altogether again or johnny is one to die in this next season as terry will on both sides. Forcing robby bk to the light
Chosen, could you make a video about Robby in season 4. I think Robby will convince Kreese to get Shawn out of jail. because right now cobra Kai only has two good fighters Robby & Tory.
My thoughts exactly! Tory and Robby are elite quality with Kyler being a good soldier kind of level, so Shawn would be a good pick! And yes I got it in the works as we speak!
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 lol I actually forgot about Kyler, I mean don’t get me wrong Kyler is a great fighter but he isn’t a threat to Miguel, Hawk, Sam and even Demetri.
*A few of my S4 Predictions*
- The season finale will not feature the All Valley tournament.
- Daniel may lose his dealership or worse as Cobra Kai starts using extremely viscous methods to target Miyagi do students and both he and Johnny
- Robby will become very corrupted and this will hurt Johnny immensely while also pushing him closer with Miguel who becomes the "good" son.
- There will be a major death or something really bad will happen to one of the characters
- Major secrets revealed about Kreese and Silver's pasts that could tie into Johnny and Daniel
- Johnny and Daniel will struggle to work together throughout the season but eventually their two styles will merge into one
- Dimitri and Hawk/Eli's relationship will go through some ups and downs as they build back their trust in each other
- No breakups between the two primary teen couples (Sam&Miguel and Robby&Tory)
- At least one character from the Next Karate Kid will start to be referenced on the show, and if I had to choose, It would be Julie Pierce herself who will turn up in the season 4 finale to setup season 5
- The end of the season sets up the rivalries/matchups clearly for the all valley.
I like how you'd want to see hawks hairstyle color. I agree with you. Yin and yang, black and white is perfect for it.
Such a perfect opportunity!!
I didnt even fully notice that! Great spot! Very interesting parallels right there!
Hard agree! Especially characters like Hawk for me! Really shined this season as did Robby And Sam
robbie is a tragic character for sure. I feel sorry for him
I really hope he can redeem in some way. Had some major Anakin vibes with him and Johnny
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 they will not kill Robby off. That would devastate Johnny too much.
Another great part of this season was Chozen role in the miyagi do secret and kreese war backstory
Kreese's backstory was definitely needed!!! And Chozen gave Miyagi Do the bite it needed! Especially when Daniel came in last minute
@@bzbaseballandbasketball he had to embrace the other side I guess
Chosen was great in S3, going from starchy stiff and seemingly begrudged, to warm and humorous.
Oh they need thier Rocky Apollo match for sure!!! They referenced it in Season 1
Very solid lineups there
They should do a Season 4 cameo for Hilary Swank's character from Karate Kid 4 to connect ALL the movies.
Just OMFG.
Mandalorian is dope
its hard to imagine Miguel, hawk or even Johnny doing kata xDDD Hilarious
Its gonna be brilliant!
Its definitely going to be a mad one for sure!!
I want to see julie pierce from next karate kid make a appearence and possible cameo from dre from remake in future season
Idk I got feeling we might not get mike barnes till season 5 for some reason
Edited: I could see terry recruiting Dutch from prison in later seasons as antagnaist in the corner. Other than that I dont know what season 6 antagonist could be? If kreese would even last that long
@@danwarner7816 ur Mike Barnes comment aged well
I put it in a tiktok video “saddest moment” and I got so much hate 😭💔
like people are just straight rude, heartless and only see bad in people which is extremely sad
Always respect Robby Lawrence!
My predictions for next season:
Too soon.
He served a specific purpose
#6) I don’t think Ali is coming back so soon either. She also served a specific purpose. I don’t think her kids will be involved.
I think # 4 is necessary.
Johnny needs an income, since Miyagi-Do doesn’t charge.
This could start arguments with
Johnny and Daniel since Johnny would need to charge money.
Johnny working at the car dealership
wouldn’t fly.
@@obiclone I meant that both the characters will separately become the way hawk was before he turned good again...
I think breaking demetri' darn made hawk question himself
That was his moment he has had little moments across the show but I think that was his Breaking Point
I have to say i have seen a few of your vids on this season and you have the best analysts and understanding of this show that ive seen
Thank You!
seeing Tory encouraging hawk to break dimetri’s arm really just shows you how crazy she is
Also, keep a watch on Hawk!!! He is the most confused character thus far.
Yeah I understand robbie life it's sad and depressing he will turn back to the gud like darth vader did in return of the jedi
Her on the other hand, not so much
Eagle Fang.....no idea if that will still be a thing in S4 definitely a unique idea
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 facts
@@TheChosenOneProphecyEST1997 no joke, there actually march of it on amazon 😂🤣
Hawk is about to be unstoppable in season 4.
This was great. Just one question...
How is Johnny going to make money now? (The Miyagi-Do students don’t pay)
Very good in universe question right there
I presume Daniel son will provide him with that :)
I think Daniel will give him a job selling cars and that will be funny. There will be plenty of arguments about how the dojo should be run. I bet they argue if fees should be charged too.
@@craigsealy4294 I love your ideas!
