Parents using serious and extensive vocabulary while talking with their very young children about very childish things will always be my favorite thing ever.

Shoot for the moon and if you miss, try close-quarters combat instead. Punch the moon. It's very big and not very good at dodging so it shouldn't be too hard. I mean, the moon is physically hard, so maybe wear a glove or something but it shouldn't be too hard *to hit*. Just gotta get close enough. Punch the moon. Moonpunch.
1:28 Justin, that is coward talk. That is the kind of thing people say when they are NOT knights seeking to destroy the werewolf threat. Punch the moon Justin.
I don't know why my first thought while listening to this would be that they were talking over skype like MBMBaM and then I was shocked when she walked away and he could still talk to her
"lets punch the moon" is very cute point very salient and well made but no one is talking about Ella putting the starry night sky background over just the "night" part of knight thats my favorite part
I’m kind of glad they don’t. These moments are extremely cute but the kids didn’t sign up to be famous. They’re just kids. They don’t fully understand all the people that know their names and love listening to everything their daddy does but are still strangers. If they were a bigger part of the podcast it would feel a little intrusive
madgrinchhatter: You’re right, I didn’t think about it that way. On second thought I’m glad they aren’t too, and if they are again I hope it’s when they’re older and choose to be on of their own volition
Please no, mentioning them if something fun happend sure, but dont bring them on it gets boring very fast. It's enough with having a seperate show so people who don't care for kids can avoid it, thankfully Justin realised that
thank you! i actually thought about that part a lot and tried to put different things in charlie's and justin's everythings because the concept of "everything" really must be so different for them
Ah, so Charlie got her father's "hear a specific innocuous prompt (i.e the moon being out during the day) and activate like some kind of improv sleeper agent" trait. It's so simple, but somehow still devastatingly funny. They're space knights and they're going to go fight the moon? That's HILARIOUS.

"Let's punch the moon" is a very McElroy sounding proposal, and that just makes this way funnier.
I had assumed before watching the video this was just an MBMBAM clip.
McElroy by name, McElroy by nature

Yelling nonsensical things about being overly aggressive towards things you cant physically fight

"come on daddy let's fight the moon" is simaltaneously the funniest and cutest thing I've ever heard
I love how Justin breaks with the "Do you wanna punch the moon in here?" line.
He was so close to playing the whole thing as serious.
I'm guessing Charlie got the "bursts out in song" gene from Justin
she's going to be a comedic genius
Ella Dumpsterfire going to be? She already is
One of my favorite things is that the 500th episode features Clint, Justin, and Charlie all singing when they're on mic. Genetics.
Love how charlie somehow got Griffin's "walk out of the room in commitment to the bit" genetic trait
