I am from Denmark, as they told you, we have a good wage. All this is NOT from the government but unions. We don't even have a minimum wage in Denmark from the government. The unions control the wages, freedom, vacation, doctors appointment... Everything and we are proud of that

Well Mcdonald tried to play around our laws in Denmark at first and was promptly shut down because no one wanted to buy their food

Not the laws. The compagny had to follow those.
But MacDonalds refursed to accept the minimum contracts that the unions demanded.
Then the unions organised a boycott - distributing leaflets to potential costumers to persuade them not to enter the establisments.

the best example would be the so holy grailed walmart company. in Germany they tried to establish themselves into Germany´s retailer´s but because of laws they were not allowed to dumb down the prices to get an monopole in the longterm. and they were requiered to allow union´s becaus at a certain amount of workers in your company your workers are obligated to join or even create an union in Germany. in addition the strict law enforcement of the working hours- like closed on sundays unless you are something like a restaurant, the walmart left Germany within 1 year with 1 billion US Dollars loss in total.
and they never came back on Germany´s businesses
and yet multiple German retailers like "Aldi Süd" and "Aldi Nord" are successful in the US business landscape
Aldi Süd is known in the US by just "Aldi" while the US grocery-chain "Trader Joe" belongs to Aldi Nord

While i agree with what you've said, Aldi might not be the best example. Since they had trouble here in sweden. It's an established store nowadays. But early on they got in trouble due treating the workers badly, not allowing breaks and keeping tabs on their "performance".
These days it's better, and they also finally abandoned the idea that the conveyor belt should be a tiny bit at the end so you've barely any time to pack your stuff. Compared to how they're normally here in sweden.
I've noticed in germany they still keep those short conveyor belts for some reason. I've been in germany about 20 times, though last time was nearly 15 years ago. I miss the travels.
So maybe they've changed since then aswell, in germany i mean.

@@germanyhamburger5552 Yes, and McD has accepted this at one point. Wallmart didn't and that was one big part why they failed in Germany.

@@germanyhamburger5552 Yea i mean just look into how tesla is trying to bruteforce their way in sweden. They even hired union breakers to keep things going.
Even norway ended up supporting us in it.
That said i've not heard anything about in in awhile so i'm not sure how it all concluded. I probably should look into it.

De table with payed vacation days for the Netherlands is incomplete. The minimum is 20 vacation days and above that are the national holidays and religious days like Kings day, Christmas etc. Not every type of job will grant you all these extra days. Police, railway, health, education etc. will have to work on some of these days; often they’re compensated in extra vacation days. But you’ll always have a minimum of 20 days.
Even in the Netherlands we have working people (about 500000 people) who are officially poor. They often have a job with less hours than a full job. The also often don’t know how to get the allowances by the government for rent, health insurance etc.
A full job varies between 32-40 hours per week, depending on the type of job. On average the dutch work 34 hours a week.

I always watch your videos! And I love them! Because I can see the world from a different perspective than my own country Germany! And please don’t refer to your country as a „third world country „! Your people are as relevant as the people in all the other countries! If it were possible for me to visit your country and come into contact with with normal people that would have been a great experience for me! But sadly this will not be the case anymore due to illness!
I wish you all the best !

1.The first comments from this video is full of BS. I am American and trust me 90% of the people here know America has severe problems. .2.There are ignorant people in every country . 3.The only people that ever say the US is the greatest country in the world are politicians. Never in my life has a person suggested to me the US is the greatest country in the world to my face. 4. Every country has problems( for example never, never eat farm raised Salmon from Norway) I could go on and on. I do really like Norway though.. 5. Nobody in the US goes without health care. We have medicare and medicaid. 6. Every country in the world has accomplished amazing things. 7. Over 50% of Americans do not want the government treating them bad or good. Most Americans want the government completely out of their lives. Socialism has been creeping into The US for the last 50 years and it is not going to end well. Freedom is scary and difficult. 8. Americans travel all over the world. Millions of Americans speak more than one language. 9. Nobody works for $7.25 per hour. Walmart and McDonald's pay much more than this video claims. 10. Do not believe some snot nose that has a desk top computer because he learned how to make a video. 11. The issues portrayed in this video are much more complex than this youtuber is portraying. 12. Everything in the video was based on government mandated benefits. The private sector in the US determines benefits which this youtuber failed to mention. 13. The youtuber exposed himself when he started bashing capitalism. 14. You cannot compare The US with other countries because we have a different system. 15. Come visit and find out. Most of the world wants to move here even with all our faults. Come visit and find out then go back home.
