As a F1 fan I attended my first Grand Prix in 1960 in East London. But taking a realistic look GP scene has moved on to a level way above what we can afford. Why have a race when TV does such an amazing job. Ask anyone who has attended attended a race what they saw. A couple of seconds per lap. Brands Hatch looses money with ticket prices at 250 pounds. The tiny SA market will not pay the huge entrance price. We missed the Olympics ask Greece how happy they were it bankrupted the nation.
Absolutely fascinating insights, thank you Rory and Alec!!
