My friend: DarWin and The Warning...2 de las mejores Bandas del mundo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this. Thanks! Definitely check out more of The Warning. Two of my favorites are ‘Automatic Sun (Tecate Pal Norte festival with studio version audio) and their song Hell You Call a Dream ( live, at the Pepsi Center, in Mexico City). The Warning and Band Maid are my hands-down favorites.
W I N !!!!! W I N !!!⚡🎀 I think we can just say, at their level, Band-Maid and The Warning are equal peers at the very top of the "Rock" pile. I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Jake! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔
🤘😎❤️⚠️. Many great suggestions have already been provided for reacting to The Warning. By the way, the music video to Sick is creative and fun…I think you will enjoy it.
This video screams "Girl Power!" They are the new "Power Couple" in rock. This collaboration is awesome. People do not realize how damned difficult it would be to put two bands with very different styles together and make it not only good, but great. The ladies of both bands ( with amazing help from the producers) were able to pull this off. It shows what mutual respect between the artists can do for a song.
8 BadA$$ ladies of rock! Thank you for doing this reaction to the two best bands in rock. New sub here, as for your next The Warning song I suggest "Sharks".
I currently have only two bands gracing the wall in my study, and those are Band-Maid and The Warning. Badass bands, badass musicians! Badass collab! 😎🤘
There is quite a bit of overlap with the Band Madiacs and The Warning Army. This collab certainly shows how their musical styles blend. Yes, The Warning's new album is a bit heavier than their previous studio work. For some more detailed introduction of The Warning: The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With four studio albums, several live concert videos, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. They were independent for the first two albums (Kickstarter and crowd-funded), but are now signed to Lava/Republic records. As you already know, this three-piece is: Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar) Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums) Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass) All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano. Need another suggestion? From The Warning’s UA-cam page you might choose from: - MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs - Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel - The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish) - 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance of Hell You Call A Dream - CHOKE, ANIMOSITY, Dust to Dust, 23, or any other song from their 2022 show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (aka Mexico City) - The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD - SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk There are really no bad choices. They are something special live-I think it is their super power. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown all over North America and Mexico, and just got home from three shows in the UK and Ireland. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled for like this in more than 45 years of concert going was Rush. We would love to have you join us in The Warning Army as one of the Warneros. The Warning can be a deep rabbit hole, but we have plenty of space down here for you. Good luck on your journey!!
Great reaction *Jake* so in 2020 I went to *Aftershock* and saw *BAND-MAID* and *The Warning* for the fist time and that when both band met each other back stage, 2 years later we get an awesome collaboration. 🤗 After *Aftershock BAND-MAID* started their 13 city tour and got to see *BAND-MAID* 3 more times 😊
Daniela has a heavier or raspy voice, a bit deeper but she also has a quite high vocal register as seen in CHOKE. They are 2 bands with different styles but they found a middle ground so that both could coexist.
Thanks for your usual intelligent breakdown. Composer Kanami deliberately chose a higher register than both singers usually use. I think that allowed the vocals to sit better on top of the large body of music in this song.
Dany has a fairly wide vocal range, going from natural alto to at least an F5. She also does a bit of vocal jumping on some of her songs, skipping as much as 12 notes higher in one step. So, yeah, she is legitimately a great vocalist. Having watched the live of this, it seemed like Saiki was at the top of her range at times. Maybe it was just that she was straining to match Dany's voice which can be kinda loud when she wants to push it. Their voices do mesh well together. The bands have very different styles and structures for their songs. This one is more of a BM sound but with some TW structure to it. I'm told Kanami started off the writing of this song, then the other members of BM worked up a demo based on their contributions before presenting that to TW who in turn, offered their suggestions. There was some back and forth between the groups in the composition before they committed to the final recording. It probably is the best if not only way that putting 8 world-class performers together in a studio would work out. I don't think something like this has ever been done. They were amazingly tight despite having had only a couple of weeks of working together before TW and BM debuted this in Tokyo.
This is definitely and punchier funkier trip than most warning songs. The song you heard, Sick, is a perfect punk/grunge anthem circa 1990. I love it. You’ll definitely love The Warning. They are very versatile and can be very Classic rock while sounding fresh and current. I’m not as familiar with BM, (a little) but this collab is pure fun. Thanks
The song was cleverly written. Both bands can also include it in their programme. It has the typical length of The Warning songs, but can easily be extended with the typical Band Maid solos. Who is playing the instruments is irrelevant. Everyone can show off their skills. Only the vocals need some work. But I think it would work with just Saiki or Danny's voice. Including the harmonies of Miku or Pau or Ale.
Don’t worry. S!CK isn’t off the table. There’s an OMV, there’s an MTV Push live, there’s the pre-release live debut ua-cam.com/video/D0Zlz-7Zyf4/v-deo.htmlsi=c3RFXrJg6Sg_icSL Reaction “rules” are made to be broken😊 Of course there’s 57 OTHER The Warning songs to react to…. And all the early covers & pandemic instagram videos &…. Well, the rabbit hole is bottomless, just dive in!
There exists the possibility that the Ladies of Band-Maid will be journeying to Mexico to record with the ladies of The Warning, for THEIR album. That remains to be confirmed however. The idea of a double billing show in Mexico appears to be on the table. Maybe if we show enough desire for it, we could get a The Warning/Band-Maid World Tour with a full tour with 30-50 shows scheduled. And I love the song, however I do have a quibble. The vocals are pushed forward too much. Normally, with Band-Maid, the vocals and the instruments are at the same level, giving us a full experience, in this one, the instruments are subdued compared to the vocals. I saw the live performance of this however and it sounded MUCH better live. Even going through IG and YT's compression the instruments were much more prominent. And this is much more of a "Classic Rock" style song. And I think both Saiki and Dany pushed their vocals. Saiki was singing much higher in her register than normal, and Dany's seemed to be close to her limit as well. And don't forget, Miku specializes in harmonizing with Saiki, too the point she can sound almost exactly like her, but she doesn't have the same vocal power. I look forward to seeing your exploration of The Warning's music now. ;)

This may shed some light on Dany's vocal performance. This is my theory, nothing official. Dany occassionally performs special request on her socials and Patreon for fans, and she will sing requested covers. On at least one of them she explained that she believes in singing in the key the originial recording was sung in, no matter how much she has to work on it. So, it just may be that Dany volunteered to sing in Saiki's key, vocal register for this collab. She does sing in a lower register in their originals.
Both sang a little higher than normal. Kanami started the writing process and apparently pretty much directed the music & she has said that she pushed both Saiki and Dany to go a little higher. There were compliments all the way around between the bands. I do wish they would release the full song pro-shot from when they debuted it.
THE WARNING is 3 sisters from Mexico.. S!CK is from the new album (Keep me Fed) I believe it's the best Rock album of the year.. You have no idea what you're missing.. 19, 22, 24yrs old.. try DUST TO DUST LIVE AT TEATRO METROPOLITAN CDMX 2022 or HELL YOU CALL A DREAM LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX.. 🌎🤘🦈🦈🦈
Funny how most of the reactions to this video are reactors they say the same thing don’t know the warning of barely know of them! Then say they need to react to the warning and crickets afterwards! 🤣🤣🤣
The video is on BM's UA-cam channel and on their new upcoming album. Most of the reactions I have watched have been from reactors that have previously reacted to both bands. Some have been new to both, and some were familiar with The Warning and not BM. I have also watched more than a few just today that checked out The Warning after reacting to this video and were blown away.
Most reactors are similar to Jake. Full time lives, with little spare time for extra activities. It's only been 4 days since Show Them got posted. Show some patience. And most of the reaction videos of other BM songs get the same comment about not knowing about the band. Nothing new for most bands. There is just too much music for any one person to keep up with.
Dany...Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were compliments all the way around between the bands. I do wish they would release the full song pro-shot from when they debuted it.
@@lonelywind3511 A proshot of the live would be awesome!
@@lonelywind3511 Yep. Getting them to sing a little out of their comfort range also kind of fits the lyrical theme of the song IMO.
The live is WAY better!
