@@beansproutshater try to find a UA-cam video of the song at whatever difficulty ! then you can pause and even slow it down if you need to better understand the pattern
another tip i would add is that song lvl really does matter. work out what level is your limit so that you can know which difficulty to chose if you come across a new song in co-op. song level is like the number on the left of the song title on the song list (usually 22-30 or so for expert) also, i found that it really helped me improve if i sorted the songs by level and just worked my way down. this is because a lot of the harder/master songs use patterns in easier expert songs but just faster or slightly more complicated. by practicing the patterns slower or in an easier variation you can get used to them and do them easier when it’s fast or harder. hope this makes sense
This being said, 20s are much harder than a bunch of 22s for me, probably because they still need to fit in hard mode level-wise but aren’t necessarily difficulty-wise
I'm currently doing that to improve!! But trying to improve by playing songs at a higher level than your normal really could help as well!! (For example, the most you can do is level 26. Try a level 27 song and see how well you do, if you keep playing the higher level frequently, then just maybe you'd become able to clear them!!)

1:31 i'd argue that playing songs that you aren't sure you can clear is actually one of the best ways to improve. outside of cheerful carnival events, it's not a huge deal if you lose all your health in the middle of the song. even if the team score isn't great, everyone's been there and people will understand. and personally, playing difficult songs in multi live motivates me to try my best. you just need to take that leap and gradually start bumping up the difficulty or note speed a little bit at a time. focus on the song level too. if the hardest song you can clear comfortably is master 27, try a 28 song with a healing team. if you can clear that, then try doing that song in multi live.

I guess I should have known that the last tip is "play more" since I came from osu that's what people say if you ask "how to get better" though I didn't know fevers and S.Fevers need all players to get it, I thought you just need to FC that part then you get S.Fevers.
Here are my tips as a pjsk player: 1:Never play on hard first thing (ive learned my lesson from my first time) 2:play on lite if you dont want to get distracted by the vid and less lag (it helps me) 3: upgrade your characters, that means saving up stuff (wish jewls and ext) 4: practice songs so you can know the chart (chart is now notes are placed) 5:buy low level songs first, then buy the hard ones later. 6:roll in the gacha, it can give you four stars (best cards) 7: never give up, retry until you get it right, that always helped me.
I started the game out only ever playing hard difficulty, and just grinding every song out in single player and eventually got up to expert and master only and now like 3 months later, I've now cleared a good handful of lv 31 songs, and can occasionally FC up to lv 27, and am pretty consistent with FCing lv 24-25 songs. I think I've kinda hit a ceiling though because I can't clear lv 31s like I used to, and anything above 27 I can't even unlock master mode on (which is pretty funny given as previously mentioned, I can FC some lv 27 songs). Tbf, I haven't seriously tried to unlock master on a lv 28, but I could seriously go from like maybe 4 mistakes on a solid attempt on a level 27 to getting 7 misses and like 5 other mistakes on a lv 28 💀
I agree with choosing your speed, but I think it should be different depending on the level & difficulty you’re playing And i used to play songs by just tapping.. yeah I would get some full combos But I realized focusing on the rhythm somehow helped me a bit I now get more AP than full combos
I have a question so im VERYYY new to pjsk and when i do a live i cant even press any of the notes well i sometimes get them but i cant even hold a note or flick a note and its laggy. Is this for everyone or its my crappy phone?
I started playing only some days ago. For now I can only do normal and easy but everytime I play these I cannot go higher than C I keep practicing but I'm not sure if it's because I've been playing for only a little time or if it's because I'm doing something bad.
I’ll put mine as an optional: get some gloves. I wear all the time cus of slide and flick and like to play a bit smoother. even so you still can play without them when can play with 3+ fingers
I just started and I’m really good at single note spam but the hold notes with flicks and notes throw my coordination off I can do any hard and am learning expert copycat for the amount of holds it has
Thank you so so much, this video is really helpful! But just a question if anybody knows, I use global server and how do you guys get more event tokens? I’m trying to farm those things so I can buy that one toya card 😭 (I’m around like 9k something while the card costs 13k) Do you have to keep playing songs and do multi live?
if you haven't already, every event has event characters and an attribute that up your rewards/event points the more you have in your team. lol i'm not good at explaining but itll show at the bottom of the screen in the edit your team thingy, and a higher percentage will help with getting them tokens.
Oh, is there a Toya card in the global event exchange? If you were referring to that card with the leaf thingy on the top, sadly you cannot exchange for that anymore because it is for the Beat Eater (i forgot the name but the AnKohane one) and that event already finished T.T. So if you keep playing Multi lives then the event tokens would go to the current event where you could exchange for Airi and Mizuki. Additional tip for geting event tokens... play in multi-live and using 2 or 3 bonus energy is ideal. Use the characters and attributes that the event specifies, you could see it in the "Edit" button. Getting mvp or full combo also gives more event tokens
my recommendation is to get the highest event bonus using event characters and event attributed cards. you can make an event team and press “event character” and it’ll give you the highest event bonus required for more tokens. my recommendation is to use 3 bonus energy every live. multi lives give a little more tokens than solo live, but takes longer. i usually just set my energy to 3 and either play multi live or play hitorinbo/viva happy in solo live since they’re the shortest and most farmable songs. good luck, i hope touya comes home eventually!!
Thank you guys for replying! Sorry for the late message tho. And yea I just realized the event is already over maybe thats why im not getting anymore tokens to buy the toya card. But atleast I was able to get airi! Anyways thank you so much for all the tips, they helped me a lot :)

2:16 and 2:19 are incorrect, The Fever bar fills up and goes up to Super Fever depending on your cards. Losing the combo can affect your chances but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get a Super Fever when you miss and someone can still get Super Fever even though the others didn’t.
I need help guys. I started yesterday, and when I try to play a show, the show starts, but no notes appear. Like, nothing, it’s just the usual song screen but nothing to press. Flick notes are hard yes indeed but if you don’t like flicking upwards you can flick it in a different direction and it’ll still work! Also when a flick note appears and you don’t know what to do I suggest paying attention to the color since they’re red instead of blue/green! Sorry if this didn’t help💔
@《 ♡ 애리 ♡ 》 my eye just see the notes and i press the button like a habit, that why it so hard for me. also thank you and don't worry Eng not my first too :D

But there r times when my eyes cant keep up so I decrease speed to find that there r too many notes on my screen now but while increasing does space notes a bit better, reaction time is where I struggle. My eyes keep but mostly but my thumbs can't
Try doing easier songs and adjust speed if needed you could also try messing with the note timing settings. And also getting used to it will help a lot

I guess I should have known that the last tip is "play more" since I came from osu that's what people say if you ask "how to get better" though I didn't know fevers and S.Fevers need all players to get it, I thought you just need to FC that part then you get S.Fevers.
Lol i used to play osu too, so i had the same idea
y’all also i played colourful stage a lot yesterday and got a migraine.. SO GENTLE REMINDER PLEASE TAKE BREAKS!!
Here are my tips as a pjsk player:
1:Never play on hard first thing (ive learned my lesson from my first time)
2:play on lite if you dont want to get distracted by the vid and less lag (it helps me)
3: upgrade your characters, that means saving up stuff (wish jewls and ext)
4: practice songs so you can know the chart (chart is now notes are placed)
5:buy low level songs first, then buy the hard ones later.
6:roll in the gacha, it can give you four stars (best cards)
7: never give up, retry until you get it right, that always helped me.
Thank you, great advice + new sub
Amazing video
I agree with choosing your speed, but I think it should be different depending on the level & difficulty you’re playing
And i used to play songs by just tapping.. yeah I would get some full combos
But I realized focusing on the rhythm somehow helped me a bit I now get more AP than full combos
I sometimes use coop lives to practice once I hit 0 energy cuz i die too much on solo and cant play the whole song
I say do easy/normal and work your way up! As well as practicing whenever you can!!
@@mizukiobsession lol yeah i do that to perfect my taps but i use coop to get used to extreme mode without dying out lol
1:33 lonely latata
Gosh nostalgia
the whole entire video is literally 2:36
but thank you for the advice~
I have a question so im VERYYY new to pjsk and when i do a live i cant even press any of the notes well i sometimes get them but i cant even hold a note or flick a note and its laggy. Is this for everyone or its my crappy phone?
I think it might be your phone but sometimes it also might be that you’re clicking them at the wrong times but I think it’s mainly your phone
I can control the Hard mode but when I try the expert one I literally can’t with it, I don’t know what to do…
Try doing level 21 songs on expert! Or the song “Hello/How Are you” song on expert because that’s the song that helped me improve!!
@@mizukiobsession I have been practicing some experts songs and now I’m more good at it! Tysm! 😁
one of my biggest accomplishments so far has been fc on hard don't fight the music, the practice was worth it! 🎉

I only just realized thanks to the vid that the "fever" actually filled up OTL
the most important tip is to be very comfortable
AMAAAZZINGGG😈😈😈
my eyes start to cry when i play proejct sekai for some reason... and i zone out a lot ☺
I started playing only some days ago. For now I can only do normal and easy but everytime I play these I cannot go higher than C I keep practicing but I'm not sure if it's because I've been playing for only a little time or if it's because I'm doing something bad.
Very off topic but Infinitely gray is my favorite Nightcord at 25:00 song!
ITS ONE OF MY FAVS ALSO
i thot the thumbnail was Shoyo HInata in pj sekai art style
I’ll put mine as an optional: get some gloves. I wear all the time cus of slide and flick and like to play a bit smoother. even so you still can play without them when can play with 3+ fingers
I just started and I’m really good at single note spam but the hold notes with flicks and notes throw my coordination off
I can do any hard and am learning expert copycat for the amount of holds it has
I'm late but a tip that helped for me is, try switching how you hold your phone if you're a thumb player
@@sunwooscloud Yep I was referring to that card! But yea, I realized the event is already over ☹️ Still, thank you guys for giving tips! Now I know what to do ^^
thanks but i need to know how to start doing master 34s.
I honestly would just do like practice of songs in co op with friends to learn songs because even if you lose your life you can still practice
i have to use lite because the background is literally so laggy for me i cant play the song 😭
2:16 and 2:19 are incorrect, The Fever bar fills up and goes up to Super Fever depending on your cards. Losing the combo can affect your chances but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get a Super Fever when you miss and someone can still get Super Fever even though the others didn’t.
thank you,, this is very useful!
I use my energy drinks anyways when I’m doing a song I can’t beat.
Haha I do the same
I need help guys. I started yesterday, and when I try to play a show, the show starts, but no notes appear. Like, nothing, it’s just the usual song screen but nothing to press. Also, when the show ends, it’s just a blank screen. Plus there’s no sound for everything, and when I checked the settings, the volume was on and everything was on. Please help.
Maybe wifi? I think it’s a glitch
For the difficulty tip i always play on normal with the default note speed im confident with it, i never bother with expert or hard because they're just too fast for me.
Damn I wish I had more time to practice I love pjsk so goddamn much
1:22 I personally have it on lite because it makes me lag :
Idk why but I focus on the background while playing the music it's weird
No worries me too!! I love seeing the characters dance around and the artwork in the 2DMVs!
I'm a player who plays expert of the speed of 11.1 and I'm here because i want to do hand tricks I've seen from cool asf players
Im new to pjsk and I’ve been doing decent on hard mode on 10 speed and I want to try circus panic but i cannot find it do you know why?
You can’t find it because it’s only available on Japanese servers. You’ll have to wait about 9 more months for it to release on English server
play on speed 11
Any tips for how to not throw my phone across the room (how to handle anger)
Ahhh😓😓
Hello, in my game it has litteraly NO SOUND at all. Its like mute for me. How do i fix this problem?
Perhaps try turning your ringer on? (If you have an iPhone)
@@mizukiobsession I play on my ipad, does it work then?
I wish you can turn down song speeds, not note speeds, but s,ow down the song but have the notes still match up
my only problem is the flick notes. i use to play the love live game just click and click... i don't know how to deal with flick notes, it always make me confuse and lost my combo
anyone have some tips please help me :(
Same lol my first rhythm game was love live so flick notes always mess me up. Also u can flick in any direction and not just the way the arrow points im pretty sure. I like flicking sideways mostly
@@mizukiobsession thank about color tips. i will try hard to keep practice
@《 ♡ 애리 ♡ 》 my eye just see the notes and i press the button like a habit, that why it so hard for me. also thank you and don't worry Eng not my first too :D
@@meisheet year it so trouble , just see the note and press like a habit, anyway thank you for you tip
I switched to jp version from en but i can't do the append lvl cause I can't use four fingers 😭
I remember trying to be gud at coop and try to fit in when i was lower 😂
Can you tips on how to get a fc/ap easily? I’ve been struggling and I’ve only fced 2 expert songs out of 50
I recommend using cards with perfect locker skill so you don’t lose your combo as often and all i have to say is practice and you’ll improve little by little
@@mizukiobsession what sign is the perfect locker skill?
@@GumPoPP when you click on a 4-star card, it should have a description that reads something like "all bads and above will be perfects for 5 seconds"
1. I didn't know you could change your energy to 0
2. I play with 2 fingers, but idk if I should use more than 2.
On harder songs like Don’t Fight the Music, What’s Up? Pop!, etc it is recommended to use more than 2 fingers because of the chart difficulty^^
Now I'd like to know how to play with more than 2 fingers I've been trying it and I just cannot get used to it...
Same here😭😭 it feels so hard
So I wanna start playing hard mode songs. I'm trying to play with 7 or 7.5 spd.
I know this is stupid question but do y’all use only your thumbs to play? Or four fingers?
I use 2 fingers (my index)
first day playing pjsk and i am getting like 10 miss on 31s
will get used to it 👍
Tysm for tips,i only reach score c,any tips on how to get better score??
Raise your card level
I still don't know why my clicks sometimes don't count on slide taps
Fairly sure super fever does NOT give you extra score boost compared to normal fever, and only gives a random extra reward at the end.
I’m literally struggling so hard on intense voice bc of those quick taps back and forth ughhh, everything else is fine but when I get to that part I lose my rhythm and end up getting goods. Is there any tips you have for this? I can clear up to 30 ish 31 but not really without losing quite a bit of health
Maybe watch other people play to see what they do or do auto and tap while its doing auto?? That’s what helps me get better
@@mizukiobsession ok bless 😭🙏

And already lost
Aww😢
What's the song name 0:28

When i was gonna play pjsk for the first time i was just setting up my things in the game but then whe i finished the tut for no reason something popped up as "pjsk isnt responding" is that a bug or something case i wanna badly play it!
Maybe it’s your internet connection??
@mizukiobsession idk tbh! I'm still tryna find some clue. But I'm for sure this video is helpful for other players!
sigh…someone i know has been playing rhythm games shorter than me, and could FC masters within a week of playing. and it’s their first mobile rhythm game. meanwhile i had to start on normal and i still suck. i practice a lot, every day.
Hey could u show how to hold while pressing the flick note because I'm failing at that part 😭😭
You hold down the notes and then on the flick notes swipe up without lifting your fingers beforehand!!
honestly, the only reason why im “good” is cuz i just kept playing. i kept playing the songs i could play and got more songs to practice.. i remember i couldnt pass KING on hard. repetition and patience is key guys!!
do you know how to stop fever lag?? i sometimes lag slightly at the start or end of fever time, and lag a LOT if i get super fever, do you know how to stop this?
Maybe turn off your 3DMV/2DMV? If it still lags then turn the graphics down in the settings
hi, what do u recommend im thumv player but theres problems when i play diff songs
I don’t really play thumbs so i dont really know really sorry! I assume its like playing with fingers though
Ahh I would like to have MV on but my android cannot even handle 2d, sometimes it lags even on lite! ㅠㅠ
does anyone have help, because every time i do a level, i always click the note on beat and i click it correctly but it always marks it wrong and it makes it hard for me, and i fix my speed too
I think you have a delay or lag maybe test the note timing in the settings
AGHSHHSHS guys i js transferred my acc from my ipad to my z flip and playing pjsekai is a nightmare. I literally played the shows I have cleared on my iPad in my zflip and I failed constantly.
