Do I need a business license or any type of permit to sell to the local small businesses?
the examples given in the video are not retail examples. these are production examples. so if you are printing shirts for a business. They are not paying retail they are paying for your service. two different prices and two different things.
as far as licenses and permits. you would need to talk to your city clerk or county clerk about what is legally needed.
but you can walk into a screen print shop and pay for them to print shirts for you. no permits needed. thats exactly how you would operate this business. you are printing for another person. thats all

I have question my bro said I shouldn’t invest to mutch but a little and start with shirts only and than claim up than start buying other things for the brand what do you think
thats solid advice, i never try to push people to drop a big budget when starting out. my goal is always to launch and offer a quality product with out spending a shit load of money on it. hahahaa the goal is to make money!!
Test the waters first with some shirts, prove to yourself that your idea is profitable before you jump all in.
imagine droppin a few G's on some products and not being able to move anything or recoup those thousands.... thats a bad look. start out slow. shit your customers will never know the difference. they dont see the back end, they only see whats in front of them.
you can open up a online store with 1 design and offer sizes Small-3XL. in your house, you can have only 1 of each size and your customers will never know. feel me? as you sale your one medium shirt, take that money and reup with 2 more mediums. and keep doing that, anytime somebody buys a shirt, reup on that size but double it up. now you replenish your inventory with out your customers even knowing...
it doesnt matter how many products you offer it all depends on what products you can move.

buy a heat press and do it yourself. you increase your margins when you do the labor instead of paying for somebody else to do it
