  • Showing how you can get a different flavor of modulation on the cre8audio East Beast by filtering the pitch CV and modulating the filter with an LFO. I also show at the end of the video how to lock up the mode settings on the East Beast with the external clock in.

hi... i'd ask to you if happen to you that east best starts to change pitch with a frequency not related to lfo, not related to FM or patch cables connected in patch bay... East Beast with firmware updated, reset and rebooted many times... maybe it's a sequence that i trigger using his keyboard or sending midi notes? is it possible?

If the sequencer is on you could be getting notes. To clear the sequence hold the shift button and press the high C key on the keyboard (white key most to the right).

@@Bata9999 thank you for your kind answer... it's related to pitch bend control (semitones to octave) and midi in... if i connect directly to Digitakt works fine, if i pass through Dreadbox Typhon some pitch band cc is sent but cant figure out how 😵

@@Bata9999 thanks for your kind response. I just found out that it's the midi trought with Dreadbox Typhon. Maybe sending some pitch bend cc to typhone reach the EastBest? wierd...

@@qix-pix Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I don't know the Typhon so unsure what is happening. Midi can do some strange things though especially in complex setups. What are known as midi feedback loops can occur and some extremely weird things can happen.
