    Im slowly selling all my smaller planes and only wanting stuff thats 1.8m or more. Yours looks lovely. 👌🏽 do you think ul be getting the new Timber SWS? I've got one on order. Thinking itll get me into more balsa if im impressed with it.

      @JMTerry1984 I was looking into that but the lack of flaps kind of put me off it. Its on sale too. Do you have one? A good flier?

      Personally, i love it. I followed the Brian Philips setup on UA-cam for mixing in spoilerons, the thing is absolutely awesome - especially on 6s. Absolutely rips and I get between 8-12 minutes depending on usual factors like how hard im flying it, weather etc. I also agree with BP that you can fly 6s without changing the wood prop, it is totally fine. I have absolutely ragged it on dives at 100% throttle. I would advise to put the Dubro wheels on to assist with bounce on landings (its quite a big plane and weighty with the 6s). On 6s, its got unlimited vertical from what i've seen - had to bail at risk of going out of sight, and plenty fast enough. Looks awesome too and gets compliments. Final tip though - glue / epoxy in some balsa reinforcements to the motor housing. I don't think they use anywhere near enough glue in there, and really needs extra putting on to give you confidence.

      @@M4rkmcc21 I accidentally deleted my reply to you earlier I think - in short, it’s a great plane and absolutely rips on 6s. Follow the Brian Philips setup for this model with flaperons. A agree with BP you can also use the wood prop for 6s, rather than change per manual. Other tips would be add low bounce Dubro tyres and extra glue all round the engine mount (there’s not enough on out the box). It’s a great plane, and is my first non foamie and honestly I’m converted.

      @JMTerry1984 much appreciated for the feedback mate. I ordered the Hanger9 Ultra stick pnp today. Should get it tomorrow. It'll be the first balsa I've ever got ahold of. I'm sure now I'll be getting the PT19 too. Just need to make some space and sell some other planes!

    Ever wonder how far your average RC plane could fly. I bet this bird at 50% power could go several miles, you think?

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  7 місяців тому +2

      I bet at 50% throttle it could go 30-40miles on a 6000mah
