Este es mi tema favorito del juego, me quedaba montando en Flammie un buen rato, antes de entrar a la fortaleza Mana. Grandes recuerdos de mi adolescencia. 🙂
@@NewRetroGame -- Sampling....... you know, that thing the "Hip Hop" genre does a lot? And Dom Kennedy "Local's Only" samples from "Secret of The Forest" from Chrono Trigger, and "One Way" by Whiz Kalifa samples the Grape Garden Map music from NES Kirby......
If melee had been more viable against bosses then the game would be better overall I think. It always came to leveling the sprites magics. The music and the art style though are amazing. I love the looks of all the armors in the shops, even though they don't alter your characters appearance.
Is it primitive by today's standards? In a lot of ways, sure. But it's a piece of art, which are always a product of their time. The first four years of the SNES were in that threshold of simpler, almost NES-era games with better hardware until 1994, when things like Super Metroid, Final Fantasy VI, Donkey Kong Country, etc. would turn that upside-down, with Chrono Trigger, Yoshi's Island and Super Mario RPG coming in the later years. I would say Secret of Mana stands pretty tall with a few others among the pre-1994 titles, and it's definitely a game people can (and do) still enjoy today. The art direction and music is timeless which helps a lot. Calling it overrated is insane; this game in one way or another influenced so many great games that came after it for a reason.
@@dr.rollenspiel I mean we cannot deny that some people think way too high of this sliced up game. Like it ain't even complete in what was intended for it which is why the 2nd half of the game feels so strongly rushed and such. I think the best part of the game still is the music, then maaaaybe the graphics, and then everything else.

Not overrated. It's art. Maybe not your taste, but many fell in love with it. Me too.
