Anyway after they walked away I heard them saying I was gross and disgusting. So I left went to another hospital. They even called me to come back. But I was to upset. Anyway I was having some palpitations. And pain. Turns out I was on the verge of having a heart attack. Anyway. I’ve lost about 75 pds since then. I feel better. But now that I’m thin. People treat me way better. It’s rather sad
@@clairejohnson7809 I've never HAD to sign an AMA document. No one tried to talk me out of it. They ASKED me to sign one and informed me that there are "risks". But again no one ever tried to talk me out of it or force me to sign anything. And I have done research, there is no legal obligation to sign it. It's put out by a hospital's legal team as a cover your ass document.
It protects the providers. Letting patients leave when you feel like it’s unsafe and you haven’t showed that you’ve tried to do everything to the best of your ability to help them comes back against your license.
I have been in hospitals that keep you under observation when it's medically unnecessary. I signed out AMA and was fine (even better) when I arrived home. I was warned I may not "make it through the night" because my O2 was below 90% when all I needed was an expectorant and a hot shower which increased my saturation to 100% steady upon bedtime. You can tell when hospitals have dollar signs in their bespectacled eyes and need to bill. It's that simple. It's also ripe for an investigation from CMS. 😁Happy billing!

Today I went to ER to get antibiotics for cellulitis.. the staff lagged and left me sitting from 10pm until 4pm. I was super hungry and eager to smoke my nicotinergic substance. They wanted me to draw blood and a bunch of CYA tactics which I do understand. I left and signed AMA papers and saved myself hours that would’ve been down the drain. As long as I got what I went for, my prescription. Win win. Never let staff shame you into staying if you feel the outcome outweighs the time you’d spend.
thats a functioning hospital if you got treatment and meds too! woah so rare these days keep your present healthcare its rare to be given meds at all..most places

I walked out after the doctor stitched up my knee for a small T- nail no more than 70mm long and 3 mm thick after he wanted me to have a fiberglass cast from my grion down to my ankle hinged at the knee ridiculous I just waited for some antibiotics then walkeed out with some of the other patients visitors a caughtva taxi outside then went home later a phone call from the hospital of which was met with wrong number

they aren't refusing treatment. they are trying to get treatment and had to leave because they hadn't had food in 3 days just in case you vomit . they don't want a mess at the risk of your wellbeing. i wasn't fed 3 straight days in icu and wasn't getting antibiotics for sepsis either nor did they tell me i had sepsis. and that was from the butchery of denti,-cal i had a slight sharp spot in my right front tooth an invisible chip but sharp. went to have it treated; 10 years later no teeth at all and no denture either they added 30 years to my face too. every treatment was more and more purposeful profit damage to my body... its gone to dang far .

This goes out to uh Portage Medical Center I went in there with a heart attack they didn't even care about getting me in the emergency room all they wanted to do was take my blood pressure they took it like 15 times because I couldn't stop moving cuz I was having a heart attack then they sent me in the bed for an hour and come in and say we need this room we have to move you so they sat me on a stool for 18 f****** hours the male nurse he's trying to take my blood inserted the needle first I watched him do it then the blood just spewed out of the needle because the tube wasn't attached then he had to block off the blood with one hand and open the tube packet with the other hand after I finally helped him block the needle off so that it would stop spilling my blood out all over my bed and on the floor he laughed and told at the doctor that I was cussing at him and that's why it happened which I wasn't I was very polite to everybody so after 18 hours of me sitting on a stool I asked if I could leave because they didn't give me no stress test or anything like that so the lady pointed towards the door and yelled you can leave anytime you want she was very rude and yelling at me so I left then I call back the next day and they said we're not allowed to talk to you you should go to another hospital so I went to make a complaint and they refuse to make my complaint then they call the security guard what kind of Hospital does that uh Portage Medical Center set me up to fail what kind of Hospital does that
thank you for naming the place and my shop of horrors was 'madd river hospital' , if you've ever had a drug conviction or are legally prescribed an opioid for a fractured femur, ( even if you use rec.pot) they REFUSE treatment trying to get the cheap effective meds OFF MARKET the 90pill 15dollar (total life saver) norco off the market. if you had died? they'd have cracked you up to an epidemic statistic. and "overdose " does not meet the 3 requirements of a death certificate. and the high school diploma in most states shouldn't be the only criteria for a county coroner.
