    WOW! Just, WOW. I've watched a million wood turning videos, seen so many unique and beautiful pieces; this one may just blow them all out of the water. Something about the wood grain and the colors you chose for the resin, blended together in a way that makes the resin look like it's supposed to be there and even enhances the wood. Many resin wood projects I've seen, while beautiful, the resin is a kind of counterpoint to the wood, to create interest. This is so different its hard to describe. It's simply......stunning. I love it

    Bit of a personal question mate, but “roughly” how much is your general set up used for most projects worth? Lathe, tools etc?

    • @MattJordanWoodturning
      @MattJordanWoodturning  4 роки тому +20

      3k for the basic setup, extend that out to more and you could easily get to 10k once you add it all up, thats GBP. Problem is, there is no real set up for most projects, because I try to do different things all the time, and each one of those tends to have its own tools and equipment. e.g pen making, its about £70 for a decent pen press, then each type of pen normally has different size sleeves, so you end up buying specific drills for each pen etc. Chucks are about £150 each, I have 3, then I have about 10 different jaw sets for different things and each jaw set is between £30 and £70, you can see how it starts to add up.
