Wow! I really love Holden cars and the Australian car scene! Cheers from Finland
cheers from Australia
I'm a Coach & Motor Bodybuilder... I know a craftsman's vehicle building work when I see it. Even if it's partly resto work and not so much entirely new innovative design work.
You're a craftsman mate and I love your work! This is what EH's should like today. I'm stoked to see another passionate Aussie petrolhead's work!
Hey mate, I just wanted to say your eh is literally the most beautiful car I've seen.... I restored my eh 20 years ago with a similar feel as in colour , wheels etc etc but not to the outstanding level you have...I just love what you did and glad to see another one saved and loved.
justin seems like a genuine nice blocke. 1 of the best paintjobs ive seen. what an amazing colour. this car is built to perfection in every way. love every part of this car,
that is art - pure and simple
Love the story, Love the car ,Love that you drive it!
Mate - full credit to you. That is outstandingly beautiful.
That’s the nicest EH I have ever seen
Congrats to Justin and his Dad for such an awesome build. Very classy and stunning EH.
Yeah Beautiful piece of Oz history there.
My old man loved the EH. So do I. I wish he was still alive so I could do the same thing. Love it and the story behind it
that paint!! oh! it works so well with that body, wheels and chrome pieces. perfect choice.
well done mate 👍
A work of art...Well done
Love the EH Holden very nice
Beautiful 64 one of the best EH Holden's I have seen. My Dad built a very successful EH ute show car back in the early 90's and was a Street Machine feature car in January 1992
Absolutely beautiful EH. 😍
My older brother and I used to build EH,s back in the 80s,but he died on a motorcycle so that sorta ended, but I wonder sometimes what sort of EH he would of produced had he been still around.
Yours is certainly perfection, awesome...
solid. Video and car - a fantastic father and son effort.
Not a huge fan of Eh but you have made a stunning masterpiece .Well done !
eric roozendaal I am a fan
I’m more interested in the EJ next to it
I had no idea an EH Holden could look SO GOOD!
That paintwork is bloody amazing....what a top job
Awesome videos and even greater car.
Absolutely brilliant job
Just...absolutely ....stunning.
Woah, well done boys. This is amazing, EH one of the best. Very impressive
much respect to Justin. Beautiful car brother
That is a absolute killer car mate.big thumbs up for u and your old man👍
Beautiful colour. Beautiful looking machine full stop!!
Lovely build. Love the Holdens and Valiants of the 60s. Thanks for showing. Good cruise to you.
Beautiful job good to see an old car restoration to that extent 👍
beautiful. so clean. hats off to you cobber! good to see you drive it, to many are shed items now.
Absolutely beautiful. Great work, one of my favourite model cars of all time.
OMG!!! Wow I have owned two EH Holdens back in the 80s wish I still had them Chur 👍👍🤙🤙
Sweet as cuz
A thing of beauty !
When the EH was first purchased their laughing was just there way of showing jealousy brother
Best EH I have ever seen. I want to do one too now. I would want to do it a Candy Red colour.
Beautiful EH!!!!
Nice lookin car brother can't wait to see the EJ
Fucken wow guys, love that car!
My first car was an EH with only 68 thousand on the clock in 1985 and I always wanted to paint it either Toffee Apple Red or pearl Black Cherry, love those colours!
Awesome job guys love it, fantastic car!
Another good video mate !! Love the edit
That looks great man- and no disrespect, i have to say I like how it looked back in '96 too
this bloke seems so cool and down to earth
What a beautiful car! Perfect. Congratulations on an amazing build.
Come along way since 64
Great vid!!!
My dream car and I did once have one back in the 90's but silly me sold it and have regretted it for many years. I am not a fan of modifying them I believe in maybe a set of wheels and the rest stock. I must admit though it is a beautiful looking EH. Good work mate.
Beautiful
Great vid should make more
What a sweety...very well done.
you and dad have done well.
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
Drop..... Dead...... Gorgeous...... Would love to see it with a pearl white metallic roof....... Now, I'm off to Car Sales to dream some more about buying a beatup EH
It's amazing what you can get done when you Follow your passion!
Thanks for the Upload! Awesome Ride!!
Perfect 👍😎💪
cant wait to see his EJ side by side with his EH
Nice.
My pa is doing up a 1964 eh panel van nice eh
Who's laughing now. Mean car Justin
Damm thats a 1, kinda wanna build my eh ute to this level... just need money lololol
Love it
You could always sell your Grandmother!!!! lol!!!
Looks fantastic my first car was EH wagon
Built not bought 😉just th es way I like it.
And the model that was born in the same year I was. Yeeep got a soft spot for the EH for sure.
Well done😉🙂👍👍
Thank you, thank you, thank you for not doing a LS with an eBay turbo on it. I can't tell you how boring that's getting. I give credit for the fact that a LS turbo (if built correctly) is a good setup, but I can't tell you how much I love to see oddball builds. Awesome build brother!
Looks way different than it did in Jindy all those yrs ago guys...
my best friend's dad had an EH, grey, Still remember sitting in it, even as a teen, I could sit high, see over the dash and the doors frames were low could see out the windows. I ended up with a Monaro HQ SS and my mate had a XB coupe, that was hard to see out of compared to the EH. really, I'd love to pick up any car from that time.
Sweet ride Bloke 👍⁉️⁉️
EH Holden, the best car GMH manufactured (in my opinion).
Slick... 👌
Love the steering column could u point me in the direction to sort one for my eh special
Wow the colour combo is great. How do you actually wash it without scratching the paint ?
You Beauty .
had a few EHs mainly got Hzs now
Perfect 👍😎🌏🇦🇺
Love the colour, what is is called?
What an awesome EH, perfect in every way, Justin if you read this comment, please, please please
if possible, can you do a EJ holden build progress UA-cam channel so we can all follow you and your fathers
progress, there are a few I like to watch and sub to like Goonzquad but there are not many Aussie channels,
especially father and son ones, would be great if you could and besides myself I know many would sub to
your channel.
Thumbs up if if you would like to see this build progress 👍
I'd give my wife for a car like this...seriously shes a good cook...
I wish my dad was into cars when I was a kid. I have two sons myself and they have no interest whatsoever in cars. It kills me.
Guessing no more videos been 11 months now 😢
Park it in the lounge room mate ))
That is one sweet ride right there. Love the paint, the engine, the detail, just love all of it. And to those who laughed, tell them to go and F**K Themselves. It will still look great in 2064!! Great car and great work.
This is just baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadass!
I had the exact same EH for my first car, got it for $3,800, sold it 2 years later for $4200, regretted it ever since.
Back in 1979, I bought an EH wagon with a 179 HP block with a 3 speed speco floor shit, and a wicked blue paint job and a steam train painted on the tail gate, for, what for it!!! $750. 00 and then traded it in on a SLR 5 ltr that cost me $4990 and the dealer gave me $1750 trade for my EH. Ahhh, those were the days!
@@BatMan-oe2ghI hope you kept the SLR!
@@BarnesysBuilds Nooo!!! I Traded it in on a HZ Sandman Van in 84 for $8k and then sold it in 86 for $7k and bought a 84 WB Statesman Caprice 5 ltr for $14K as I got married and the van was not suitable. Kept that till 1996 and sold it for $10K and bought a demo VS Acclaim for $28K. Got divorced in 2000 and in 2001 I traded it on a VU SS 5.7 Ute which I still have today. Got $13K for the VS and paid $31K for the ute. Will keep it till it scares me!!! Did not realise how much those cars I had would be worth today. Oh well, that's life, but I love my ute. Cheers.
@@BatMan-oe2gh yeah the SLR and Sandman would be very nice to have in the shed. Hindsight kills you though, you had to shift them on to realize the next dream, there will be more to come no doubt!
@@BarnesysBuilds Correct, but I have no regrets, at least I owned some classics. In a few years my Ute could be a classic! Who knows, Cheers
Such a pity Holden stopped exporting to South Africa due to politics. My dad had a 1960 special and the the '66 special, such solid great cars. I still love Holden but alas, I can just look and drool on the web.
My mechanic has a 67 HR Special and it is in original condition. Never been molested. It is a brilliant car.
That,s my dad
My dad
Man! I'd easily fork out 10 grand for this beauty if she ever comes up for sale, no haggling just a straight up sale......
@GavinNo, as long as it comes with a Roadworthy certificate the offer stands.
Is this pretty much a 64 nova sedan in the states?
Any new videos coming? It's been a while
Nice car glad you kept it holden …….. what about the ford diff tho
Any new videos coming? Been 9 months lol
You say a 186? Did the previous owner replace the 179? Cheers, very nice car, my first.
They came out in both 149 and 179, don't think the 186 came out until 87 HR did they.?
@@wyattfamily8997 Yep that's right, the EH also had a very limited number of the warmed over 179 S4.
@@wyattfamily8997 True, 149 and 179 with a very limited number of a slightly worked 179 S4.
Damn........
my first car was a eh way back in 1984 paid $2000 for it
186 3 on the floor frashed it floged it sold it he flooged it to
then i brought it back i missed it so much
wish i still had it to day lol
The EH didn't come with a 186, that came later. They had a 149 and 179 and a very limited warmed up 179 S4. The 186 came with the next model. No floor shift either so yours must have had some work done.
@@michael49777 yes it did it was a auto when i got it put the floor shift and 3 speed box in my self the 186 was bored to a 192 as well
@@toby621 Should've of looked around, I think at that stage the 202 was available, I might be wrong there.
@@michael49777 red 202 was a piece of crap
@@toby621 Well dude, it was good enough for the XU-1, and as everyone knows that had some giddyup.
I was kinda praying that you didn’t use a 2jz.
Andai saja holden tidak bangkrut mungkin peminat di indonesia kembali ke holden lagi ..
That car is sexual

Mason Gampe sorry mate. We had a break then covid hit. We will come back, just not easy to get access to cars at the moment. Hopefully filming soon. Appreciate your support!
Yeh the blacktown 😂 2148
My mother had one for 29 years, 179 manual, I replaced the rear bearings in the gearbox just too many times, even the split front bearing caused by the gearbox casing badly machined at time of manufacture oversize hole, worst clutch adjustment of any car, red motor had NO tractability at low revs, crunching back to first was the only option at low speed as the red motor snatched and jerked at low revs if you applied any load, do NOT be fooled by nostalgia, oh yes 24 grease points, great fun I don't think, like most Holdens of the period they were a POS.
