So a high testosterone female can play boxing, but an indian athelete who is just 100g overweight can't play. This is high end blunder and very shameful.
This is how rules work. France is not India that will allow anything just to please certain people.
Her weight rised upto 52.4 kg
That means all of her yesterday matches she had 2.4 kg of advantage among all players.... It might ve her natural weight...... She is not even silver level
She use unfair means to raise her weight extra 2.4 kg after weight checking to get an extra edge against her opponent
Thinking that she decrease it
But she was unable to do it

2 questions that need answers:
1. Didn't her nutritionist & coaches have the basic IQ level to test her weight before letting the Olympic officials test her weight?
2. If they did weigh her beforehand, why didn't they voluntarily withdraw her from the finals. Make any excuse say she's injured can't play finals & don't let Olympic officials weigh her. That way she would have gotten a silver medal rather than disqualification
It seems like they knew everything & purposely let her get disqualified. What kind of abysmal coaching you are doing by starving her & cutting her hair one day before the match. You are putting her life at risk utter mismanagement by support staff what a joke
bro add one more question (3) olympic committee check weight everyday before the match and she was within the range before her semifinal match so how can she gain more than 2kg before her final.

it's not the coach.. it's the IOC committee and technical staff.. apparently there were no professional nutritionist sent from wrestling federation of India to look over the wrestlers.
Infact IOC isn't even fighting for an appeal for their player but they quickly made it public about her disqualification infront of everyone. seems like the system was setup against her.
I think you don't know how things work in back. It is very common to cut weight the last day but sometimes it is very hard to cut that much
You know, its really unfair that she was disqualified right on the spot just because she was overweight by 100 grams?! I hope the athlete sees this video and gets hope in her as fans still support her.

See, what system did was, she was a good wrestler in 53 kg slot, but system did not allow her to play in 53 kg slot with there manipulation, although more than 1 athlete are allowed to be send in 1 category so they could have sent both vinesh and the other player in 53kg category, but we know how politics work and they ousted her.
So she later applied in 50 kg category, prepared again for Olympic for 50kg category and rest we all know what happened. Sometimes it becomes difficult to conquer over perpetrators within the system. It is sad part of her story.
she is bigger than any medal to us... she's an epitome of comeback. she has inspired every individual at all levels. I'm a ca student and her fighting spirit inspires me. hope she withdraws her retirement and comes back in 2028. She deserves the happy ending.
The disqualification is intentional and pre planned.

This is quite heart-breaking. I can't imagine the pain of the champion. My question is, what was the job of the medicos and other support staff she traveled with? The way she played, she definitely could have won the gold. What an unfortunate situation.

@@morverous I don't care what the world ranking says. She just defeated one of the world best of best wrestler from Japan and in every Olympics japanese have won medals from wrestling. I will count her as top 2 in her weight category as coming with a strategy to take point from japanese is not a easy task. Right now aditi is again in top 3 spot in golf match and she did same in Tokyo but just missed the spot in last moment but in her segment they didn't her in top 10. Further my trust is not anymore in international sports. It would be better for you to stop falling in their propaganda. Neeraj wasn't in the top rank but still he won the medal so think in that way.

i went to weight loss pgm. from my experience, even sometiomes when i eat less food i might gain 100 or 200g.. one day i ate my comfy levl food..next i surprised that i lost 500g. weight measurement is very complicated
