- I OWN NOTHING! Music is by John Williams and is from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (Superlative Edition) Soundtrack and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones Soundtrack. This Theme is also known as the Droid Invasion Theme. Enjoy!

Honestly, I can't get enough of the droid army theme, wish they would have used it in the animated show too.
Max Pfeiffer You said it bud
Max Pfeiffer They did, I’m sure, several times in the actually decent 2003 animated show.
@@betternamepending3991 I meant more in the 3D animated series and standalone movie, not the 2D legends one.
Max Pfeiffer I know what you meant, I was providing an alternative.
I wish TCW hadn't depicted the droids as incompetent idiots and instead depicted them as intimidating and capable like in the movies.

My father is a clone commander and had PTSD after the war, I was blasting this music around the house when he heard it and yelled: "THE CLANKERS ARE BACK!!!!". Immidiately he gets to cover, throw some shots on the radio, got his battalion to back him up, and called an orbital strike on the house.

We really need to appreciate that the droids have a character
When you stop and think about it, the Clone Wars were basically just a "Who Can Produce the Most Troops" Brawl. This was just one big giant Factory Grinder. 💀
If you look at the lore numbers, Clones were barely a million and the droids were in the tens of millions. It’s just that the media barely shows planetary defense forces.

That good old time when the droids were both funny and intimidating at the same time
Reminds me of Battlefront. Ah, good times, good times
"It's a ship. You board them all the time. How is now any different?"
So the difference between Imperial March and The Droid Army March is that in The Droid Army March sounds like there is no turning back, no retreat, those droids will not stop until they achieve victory, also the drama that they have no power of will only the command to go forward no matter if they are destroyed or not, it is their destiny to win the battle :)

One of my favourites 😊❤ my mother taped Episode 1 when it was showing on the telly and I got to rewatch it heaps as a kid on my VHS player and man I loved it
Roger Roger
This track is stuck in my head since 1999. Still getting chills sometimes when I hear it.
In The Phantom Menace, a droid army was contemporary (this was when military drones were still relatively new to the public) and made sense for the setting (an unmanned martial force made sense for commercial faction). They were relatively competent and capable of carrying out the will of the antagonists, which made them a serious threat.
In Attack of the Clones, they were still somewhat threatening, especially the new Super Battle Droids, but they were a silent representation of the power of the rising antagonistic force of the Separatists.
In the 2003 Clone Wars, they were still their competent, silent opposing force to the Republic, both capable and competitive. But this would be the last time they posed a serious threat.
In Revenge of the Sith, they were a laughing stock. Comically incompetent and hardly a threat to anyone. Chatty to a fault with worst voice and dialogue. The proceeding 2008 Clone Wars and EA's Battlefront 2 continued this trend and only made it worse.
This is such a tragic fall from glory and a waste of potential, but hardly off-brand for Disney and late Lucasfilm.
Not a Disney change. It was the CIS that changed the programming of the droids due to failures seen in TPM (central command go boom droid go down) so that they can act independently, but their shitty mass-produced chips created glitches that makes them somewhat sentient while also slowly making them less capable over the years.
When you realize droid in film are more efficient than stormtrooper
Brothers! The clankers are capturing our command post!
