Looks like it comes from the same factory as the SZ and Westin reels. The part where the handle/star is is really similar at least to the SG. And the Westin has the same "line remember" thing on the handle as the SG has. Have had a Citrix 364, way to rattling for me, not very much quality feel. The komodo seems better in that regard. Hope it holds up better than the SG reels do, they ain't popular by the guys repairing them. How do you feel about the reel now? Haven't seen it on any of your rods in the more recent videos? Not up to daiwa/Shimano standards? I'm probably a Shimano forever guy. Like some Daiwas but not all, and can see myself fishing any of the Shimanos actually. Slx, Curado, Tranx and the other high end stuff I'll probably never buy.

Nice i have one too , and the 364 also . The 273 flies better because of the disengaging spool.. in fact it comes close if not same as the Antares DC. Now, i have had to reoil the bearings OFTEN! in thr 273 , also at times it seems little hard to reel in heavy lutes , such as the 2 ounce topwater Raid Japan Deka Dodge crawler. I read one review that his gears locked up . Overall, i used it for exactly one year now and caught plenty small pike and big bass! The SS is well Steel! I'll keep you guys updated about gear issues

Did not keep it actually. Was a nice reel but not quite up to standards of Daiwa / Shimano

I did not try this but I dont think thats a good idea because of its deep spool.
Maybe Curado or Bantam would be a better choice
