The very 1st Mack I ever saw, was an R model. Born in the early 60’s, I never knew about the B models! The B models were great, but my own personal favorite is the R model! They don’t make them like that anymore! (On one hand, I wish they still did, because they were one beautiful truck, while on the other hand at the same time, I ‘m glad they don’t- if they did, they’d have ruin a beautiful truck by putting a computer in it! ) That would torque me WAY OFF!!
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Nice looking old R model Mack. This would be a good example of some original Mack trucking for someone. Where is this rig? Typical green R model. Nice though! Would look good in my driveway. Hmmm. 🤩😎✌️
I'll give a good sold 100 bucks 😃 , actually I have a soft spot for them old R models I learned to drive in a 85 r model with a 350 hp Mack engine and a Mack " 12 " speed
Took many rides in my grandfather’s Green R model Mack. Good memories

With horsepower that low, the axle ratios would need to be at least 3.42-3.55. Could a Eaton Fuller 18spd be swapped into this thing?
