    My style is identify, decide, fall in that rut anyway. We can't all be perfect. Some good tips again from you guys. I need to practice getting out of the saddle when the going gets tough. I do use the clutch technique though to get through obstacles when I don't fall off.

      +Spirit The tips are one thing, having someone like Chris actually look at your style and watch how you are going and add constructive feedback through out the day really does lift your riding capacity.

      +Motorcycle Adventure Dirtbike TV Yes that would be absolutely inspiring. I am afraid that wouldn't happen to me, I will have to implement the knowledge of vids like this. And keep on trying :-)

    Chris I had my suspension set extra stiff while maxing out at 950 pounds with my wife and gear in central America. I'm in the States now with less weight on the bike. What suspension settings should I use off road? Thanks

      Judging on what you have stated I would suggest settings that would be less stiff

    At 0:13 and 0:29, what causes the back wheel to stop spinning?

    • @loading2112
      @loading2112 7 років тому

      rear brakes, of course....

      So you're saying that he's deliberately braking in mid air? I was thinking it's probably the traction control or something.

    • @MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV
      @MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV  7 років тому +2

      I have filmed Chris many times, he regularly uses the back brake to alter the angle of the bike, both in flight and or on the ground. If you go through the video I have take of him, you will see many examples of this.

      J. Braking in air is pivotal to riding motocross bikes and races. That technique directly translates to this type of riding.

      Air braking is awesome. You can do the longest skids and it doesnt wear the tyre knobs off or create any dust that I have seen.

    He must hate his job, dealing with muppets all day. I'd be happy to pay just to watch him ride!
