You two are so generous to get out in the rain & make a video for all of us. You get two thumbs up & a hug from me! Loving the "rounded-top"(??) style of arranging you chose for these flowers. It's really nice to see that "tall & spikey in the center" isn't the only way to make a beautiful arrangement - even though it is a pretty style as well. The dreadlocks give this a victorian vibe - simply stunning with these colors.

I have them in my front garden , mine are grown for ornamental purpose too 🥰 I cut mine down to the size I want , they love it as they shoot back , yours are beautiful too 😍🧤👒🇦🇺👌🌱🐨

I’ve grown amaranth aka Chinese spinach aka callaloo for years, to eat. Never flowers. I’m going to change that and try the flowers next year. I always learn something new from you. 💜

This is just stunning! If you could get this arrangement at the florist, I bet it would be around a hundred dollars. I think gardeners make the best flower arrangers because they have great eyes and wonderful creativity! I grew Love Lies Bleeding one year from seed and it was very similar to your cultivar. I love amaranth because it comes in so many forms. I also have Snakeroot Chocolate with dark leaves. Thanks for sharing your talent. You did a great job arranging Y!
Amaranth has the highest lysine content of all grains, making it great for people who gets cold sores. I believe Amaranth means "unfading flower."

Gorgeous arrangement! I grew Red Spike Amaranth and am looking forward to it reseeding in one bed. The leaves are variegated and added a nice pop in an all green bed. So vigorous and exotic in planters! Sadly they are about to Peter out, I was hoping they would last on my front porch planters thru Halloween. ☹️

That's a gorgeous arrangement! I planted mine everywhere to see how they do in different locations. In one location where they're in morning sun only and in containers, they're already 6.5 feet tall. I planted them very late just as an experiment. I think the petunia fertilizer was dripping into their containers which would explain it but I don't know what to do with these giants!

How do you keep pruning shears sharp or what do you use to sharpen them?
I use fiskars garden scissors for flower cutting and really like them. you can take them apart easily to sharpen with a knife sharpener.
