- Wow, I couldn't believe I still had the save file with me all this time. Sometimes I amaze myself, and that RNG near the end too!

Back then when I completed all the FE7 character journeys, I realised Karla's (and Karel's) Journey had their animations off, and are split in seperate parts (due to UA-cam 10min limit back then), I wanted to re-record them again.
However, that OCD of mine will always make me try to complete every single gaiden chapter despite there's no need for it. (Nergal's death quote is a hint.) So, it ended up as a hiatus as I'm too lazy to play the whole thing back from scratch.
Good thing I found this save file.
The 3 parts for Karla's Journey (2010) are still here, though only part 1 might be relevant if you want to see how and where I got her stats. Here's the video link:

About the run:
I recorded this chapter so much to the point that I could tell how the enemy is going to move. So it can be a little boring to see my same old strategy again, well, the most important thing is that it still worked.
That second body ring was unnecessary though, didn't use the Runesword at all. I was hoping for a Brave Sword but I realised this same file doesn't have Harken, so I just did a trial with 2 Wo Daos as a joke run, ended up RNG being really nice at the very end that I don't have to record another run.
I would replace the Wo Dao with a Killing Edge, and the other one with the Brave Sword, if I were to redo this. Still keeping the Light Brand though, her avoid is high enough not to rely on the Lancereaver against Darin.
If only Karla had 1 more slot, a pure water would have made this run so much easier against that berserk staff.

Unrelated stuff:
To the people who wanted to know why Karla is my favourite character, the reason is pretty simple. I had a thing for stoic characters, regardless of gender or how they perform in battle.
It's also not something like having the "brother-obsession", otherwise I would have mentioned Clarine or Priscilla a long time ago. Definitely not because of her "physics" (which most people assumed), that's only in FEH, she's average here. Nothing to do with being swordmasters too, if that's the case, then me liking Percival wouldn't make any sense.
Well, even for my KOF boss fights from '96 to 2001, I focus mainly on just Leona, who is known for showing little to no emotion. Kinda feel like making one for KOF XIII too, not that anyone would watch my KOF stuff though.

It's like being so focused on one thing that you aren't distracted by anything else, Karla gives off that vibe in her support conversations, and it's that kind of look that I find beautiful.

Seriously. That could be an amazing head canon for Karla and her family. Hell, The Regal Blade not only fixed. But also enhanced. Customized for the Family heirloom.

No idea why they gave him a runesword. I could understand if it was like FE6's, but not the FE7/8 kind.
Imagine Jerme with a Killing Edge instead of Runesword.
DrewPicklesTheDark I think because it is unable to critical hit, which could otherwise cause Jerme to kill off Eliwood, Hector or Lyn in one hit given that Assassins have Lethality.
@@cocomunga Well, you get an iron rune to bypass this. And you could easily attack Jerme with an killing edge from range without fearing a counter hit from him. Shouldn't be a problem to finish him off even if he had a crit boosting weapon.

@@tortagion1182 he is the boss from chapter 19xx, a hector mode exclusive chapter, you need kill kishuna in 19x and have a lvl 7 or more nils in a linked lyn mode
If the druid is Teodor, then we should know who the annoying bolting sage is. Seriously, he is so annoying that I wish Kishuna would spawn in his face when I move my non-magic units closer.

I didn't whatsoever. That was a legendary moment right there! I was quite surprised though on how little damage she could do to the dragon I knew it would have still been in the single digits but, I can't help to think something a miss with that damage output!

Those captions near the end are the stuff I was thinking at the moment, including the "argh!" noises. Well, except for the part where I actually cheered when I saw Karla moved backwards during the final hit.
That nameless dragon is often referred to one of the hardest bosses in FE for a good reason. Couldn't do an assassin run without some serious RNG abuse if I were to try fighting the dragon.

damn, I never realized this until now, but that dragon is REALLY BIG! He could eat you whole, while manakets look like kids by comparison, and this one IS a young dragon (according to Ninian). Ok seriously, how potent is the air on the other side of the gate, to make baby dragons more powerful than the demon dragon? No wonder Nergal wanted their power
Strangely enough, the dragon has the same Con as Merlinus. I wonder if he actually lost his dragonstone and decided to pretend as a human merchant instead.
I mean, if Nergal used Merlinus' quintessence and applied his abnormal growth rates on himself, the story would have ended differently.

One thing I've noticed while watching this one and Lyns journey is that the crit it sounds different if your enemy is gonna die from it or not. For example, at 9:45 Karla fails to kill the General with a crit, but then on her next crit, kills him, listen closely and you can hear the difference. Also at 12:58 Karla just said "lol fuck logic"

If you ever need an idea for character journeys, ft mangs Emblem would be an interesting option, I think. It's a harder sacred stones, with more class diversity

I will consider it after my all my GBA characters are done, but before that I wanted to finish up all of Blazer's (FireShrine) romhacks before I try something else.
thesiaoz TLP Chapter 26? The finale is all about Divide-and-Conquer so it doesn’t fit the scenario and the final boss isn’t too much an issue with maxed everything.
The Holton or galagar chapters may be better

I know this is an old video but the idea of anyone dodging a fire breath attack from a dragon, first turn, is a HELLUVA flex. And so much cooler with the Swordmaster animation. Karla dodged so effortlessly. 🤩🤩👍👍👍👍

Karla is more of a dodgetank than she is suited for doing damage primarily.
Man, you know this run is messy when Karla's movement stat does not suffice and she get berserked, Vaida got hit by the Morph Sage with Bolting, and Lyn has to body block the reinforcement Generals
Also, wtf with the Dragon's attack is so accurate that even against Karla it's displayed as 64% chance? (True hit is 74.4%)
When you get the chance, You should do a colm and neimi journery in fe8!

So, it’s been 9 months since I watched all of the character journeys and made my commentary on them. I even commented on Athos’s (somewhat) recent journey too, but I never did this one. Probably because it was half an hour long. But it’s time. Time for my remarks… hopefully with less typos.
A very old save file. Time for Karla’s journey, which lacks Brave Swords. Uh oh. This can’t be good.
Eliwood with the Uberspear? Wow.
I was wondering “She doesn’t have full supports yet, how- oh nevermind, that’s better.” Funny how that works out.
Right off the bat, she misses an 84% crit. I have a bad feeling about this…
Karla’s really gonna have to rely on crits here with her low damage. Thank Elimine the Wo Dao has such a high critical rate, and Karla can dodge most attacks.

Regal Blade’s running out… _now_ the situation is bleak. It’s almost like a clock ticking down to zero.
It can’t be a hero’s journey without a crisis phase.
Karla is wounded and battered, out of Elixirs. Her sword is damaged, one slice away from breaking, and one more slash won’t be enough to kill the final foe. One last stroke of the blade… either a crit, or lose *everything.* Take your final stand.
…And she does it. Siaoz’s worst enemy, RNG, comes in to save the day.
That was a cinematic masterpiece. That’s all that needs to be said.

I can relate to liking stoic characters(as long as they're well written that is), so don't worry about being the only one who harbors that fetish. Also, I want to ask. Since this video emphasizes Karla, do you think it was a missed opportunity for Karla to have a support with Lyn, since they're both roughly part of the same tribe?
It's not really a fetish though. I just like stoic characters, nothing sexual about it.
Anyway, Karla doesn't care much about the world, where the person that she will actually initiate a chat is with Karel. So, in order for Lyn and Karla to have a support, Lyn must be the one who start the conversation, but they don't have anything in common other than being sword users.
However, Karla dislikes fighting, so it's quite difficult for Lyn to start a topic on swords too.
Well, Lyn is seen in Rath's support that she is being grateful to people who helped her. So the only reason Lyn can find to talk to Karla is when the former (or Florina) is rescued by the latter due to storyline.

For art, she's even more beautiful than her vanilla version (despite same artist). Weapon-wise, I can't say anything much without knowing her statline, but it's sad that galeforce doesn't fit her playstyle, crazy damage output though.
Maybe I will make a showcase video.. if I can get her with my measly amount of orbs.

And chapter 16x exists, if you don't want to do a ranked run you can use the arena. And I say usable, not a god like hector or raven and harken in hard
