Will not fly on the 787. Not a fan of the flight crew c9ntrolling whether i can look out the window or not. The airplane is not a prison. But Turkish Airlines i do want fly on. Will have to go somewher they fly the 777, 350, or 330.

I will traveling from IAH next month and feel claustrophobic if my window isn't open and I can't look out the window. I will request the flight crew to keep mine open and let's see if they do that or not. I mean I paid for the seat by the window for a reason 🤷‍♂️

I have been traveling through Qatar and Turkish Airlines since the 90s. In reality the economy cabin experience has been pretty consistent for Turkish airlines with slow and steady improvement over time. However with Qatar economy class has all but forgotten and it is not that Turkish Airlines is a lot better, it is Qatar Airlines economy class service has been going down hill especially with food quantity and quality for the past 5 to 8 years. Their focus is more on business class experience at the cost of economy class. The real issue with Turkish Airlines is ground staff and customer care which is non existent and made deliberately difficult and on the verge of harassment for the passenger. I am travelling next month from Houston and already my pre allocated business class seats have been cancelled and reassigned 4 times without any reason, notification or confirmation that it won't be cancelled again. In one of my past experiences my preassigned seat on economy that I paid $100 extra was changed to the worse seats on the plane while boarding. I never got refunded and was treated extremely rudely by customer care when i logged a complaint.

Yeah this is the issue with Turkish, their customer service is pretty rude and dismissive.
