In this vlog I'm riding from Mumbai to Aurangabad on my new 2024 KTM Duke 390. The roads from Mumbai to Kasara are very bad and painful, especially from Thane to Kasara. September heat is taking a toll on me as I forgot my hydration bag for motorcycle rides. Google maps showed us the route from Samruddhi Mahamarg, but bikes are not allowed on the expressway.

Duke 390 has a toolkit below rear seat which has got each and every tool for basic servicing and use Allen key (8) for fixing your mirror.

It is advised by every motorcycle maker not to take a brand new vehicle for a long ride anytime before 1000 kms and first its service. Until then it is recommended to keep the RPM restricted to a certain limit. Kindly get the PDI done and inspected properly by the service team next time when you purchase a new vehicle and read the owners maual carefully. Ride safe 👍🏼
5:26 6th gear meh 30speed. The bike will definitely stop when moving in low speed high gear, more over it's 390 which is with power

@@RaisingClouds some people believe in engine break-in while some not but yes you are right first 1000kms below 5k rpm is recommended
well to my experience, first' batch vehicles are more prone to have issues compared to later batches, later batch product are much more refined than first batch

New vehicle should be maintained in break in period, either you can do a hard or soft break in, riding at continuously at 80-90+ & redlining rpm’s with a new engine is gonna make you prone to problems, then blame the brand :)

Same problem we faced with Samruddhi highway, we went to Aurangabad in Feb this year and we ended up driving 40kms more due to Google Map confusion.
Best route for bike as of now is to take Pimpalgoan - Anantpur - Takli - Aurangabad
never use Car mode on Google maps . If you use Bike mode, it should not show you Samruddhi mahamarg as route.
One of the reasons people wait until 1st service before riding hard or go touring .... to know if the bike has any issues.... but views k liye ... content k liye shyd ye karna b jaroori tha 😅

7 hrs to reach 160 kms is far better month back it took me 7 hrs to reach Igatpuri from Mumbai Goregaon which is nearly 120 kms 😅

That nashik highway is worst patch. Me also traveled once same trip. It take too long. I live in Palghar. It take less than that. But one of my friend is from mumbai so we decided to take that route. For returning we take the wada route. Less crowded and no traffic at all
