Ms Vasundhara was arrested as part of investigation in the alleged kidnap and disappearance of a fellow Indian Mukesh Menaria who worked as a chef for her. She accused Mukesh of stealing her jewellery and money. Instead of reporting him to the authorities, she masterminded the kidnap and alleged torture of Mukesh. She then confiscated his passport and illegally transported him to a neighboring country and dumped him there. Vasundhara was arrested after Mukesh's son reported the disappearance of his father to the Uganda Police and implicated her in his disappearance. She is being held as investigations continue. If you are going to report story, please get your facts right. Or perhaps you think that an Indian billionaire's daughter who kidnaps and tortures a poor Indian citizen should be left alone.
I dont think any African with the right mind can dream going to India. Such a slum country and dirty and crowded. We africam do not want you because you are criminals most of you. Keep you resist Cast system to yourselves
I remember the high commissioner of Uganda to London, miss madvani telling Indians in England that Uganda was safe to go to do business and visit. 😂😂😂😂 she forgot amin had put her father in prison in 1972.
@anonymous2-i7x in African countries there are only 2 laws, - the man with the gun and the other the man with the money who can buy those people with guns.
It was the Interpol that was looking for them after escaping from Switzerland on charges of tourture of their cook. They smuggled him to Uganda and put the guy in house arrest before smuggling him outside the country again when the authorities in Uganda and Interpol came to search their premises. The Indian cook was dumped on the Tanzanian side of the border were Tanzania authorities handed him back to Ugandan police and the Interpol so please first do research before putting your nonsense online that family has to face the law .

I’m not sure who she is or who her father is, but with all due respect, are she and her family truly so valuable and important? Is she some saint who demands immediate release? I’m neutral here-I observe and then I comment, as any neutral party might. So, I’ll ask again: should people be shedding tears for this woman and her family? Is her release justified purely because she’s Indian? What about the numerous human rights abuses India has committed over the last 25 years? The mistreatment of poor Dalits, or minority Muslims? Honestly, I just need to know how many tears I’m meant to cry for this “brave Indian lady" and her fanbase-before we address the other deep-seated issues India keeps hidden in its own house.

They’ve been kicked out of Uganda once. Why go back again.

What does torched mean? Is it some kind of slang?
At first I took literal meaning, *set alight*, *burnt alive* etc. I now feel a clickbait term probably recommended by some AI
I think it would be meant, sent to prison. That's what they do in Uganda.
Its mean burndown
Torched??
