It's called the blackout and it's an absolute workhorse fairway driver it's the main disc I throw, I used to be all Discraft but I've dumped them completely and throw only Doomsday now because the product is better and the pricing is way better. $20 for Discraft esp is bogus, so is $25 for lat64 and mvp are just thieves that backstabbed gateway and stole the gyroscopic technology which gateway along with quest at did first and so kindly showed mvp how to do, not knowing they would completely screw them over and patent it thus making gateway ditch the overmold assassin for which only prototypes exist, mvp sucks hardcore.
You’re introducing the discs at this point in the video, and as a guy who throws a ton of doomsday…. I hope you love the funny plastic. I have 3 desolations, because they rock.
I have one of those Frags and they are bizarrely good for rollers, if you sling it hard enough it will go rolling dead straight down the fairway and jump over stuff. Seems like the Landmine might do something like that as well since the rim is so flat.
@@PartTimeDiscGolf For that I throw it straight forward overhand/tomahawk style so that it lands not too far away and retains enough spin to keep it rolling. Mostly on holes in the woods with a narrow fairway.
Lots of practice. I recommend throwing putters or mids for a while. Focus on leading with the elbow and keeping the disc close to your body. Don’t forget to follow through.
It's the best get out of trouble overhand throw utility disc I've ever bagged and I've seen pros throw it 300 feet, it's a great disc. Doomsday has the best discs I'm all Doomsday no longer Discraft only, bye bye Discraft your stamps are boring beyond belief and your plastic is worse now than in the past, old z plastic is far better that's why people still seek out pfn discraft because the plastic is different now generally more stiff and slick than you would prefer. Doomsday biohazard plastic beats discraft z flx any day, and toxic waste whips esp too especially the price point, $20 for esp 😂 give me a break.
Innova isn't the standard that every other disc has to be comparee to, like people do understand that there are pdga disc manufacturing standards which limited how you can configure a disc so that it's pdga legal, and flight is based on aerodynamics so at a certain point if any company wants to make a high speed long distance driver, based on the laws of physics, there is one best way to do it so all those discs are going to have extremely similar if not almost identical shape, its not about copying other discs it's laws of physics and aerodynamics. Also, flight numbers are all contrived there is no standard and none of them from any company are based on actual real numbers determined by technical analysis such as a machine which throws them all in the exact same way at different speeds in order to determine the true speed which a disc needs to be thrown at in order to perform at its max potential.
It is unquestionable that every disc manufacturer will want to design a disc that is similar to the destroyer because destroyers sell. Same as how every brand will have a 9 4 0 4 disc, people build their game around these archetypes. It doesn't mean the discs are all the same but to imply that Innova isn't influential is just untrue.
It's pretty obvious that this guy isn't particularly creative in his thinking... seems like anything other than the norm makes him uncomfortable. Classic safe herd mentality vibes.
If you seriously called the landmine the worst disc ever made then you must have no experience throwing any discs from the past because if you actually had any knowledge on the history of disc golf discs you wouldn't even dare make such an uninformed statement trashing a completely legitimate disc. Have you ever even heard of quest at, Franklin, Emsco, or destiny/dynamic discs (it's not dynamic discs it's actually called destiny/dynamic)? Do you even know what "the wheel" is? That is the worst disc ever made and it technically isn't even a disc despite being circular. You guys making these review videos really need to do more research before shooting your mouth off when you apparently lack knowledge of the history of disc golf especially concerning the history and development of molds.
They're funky and a blast to throw. Blackout is such a great mold
Yes. That Blackout is legit.
We knew you'd come around to the Land Mine! 😂 Some nice throws there! Gotta love the Apocalypse on a Forehand. We're excited to see your round. 🖤
Oh yeah! Can’t wait.
Is this where I say your discs suck so I can get some freebies to test??? 😂😂😂
I love your guys midrange offerings
I've loved my Blackout from day 1.
It’s a great easy flier. Love the plastic too.
Glad to see you giving them a fair shake! The Blackout is a killer disc!
For sure. That’s a great one.
Ohhh, doomsday could make a understable fairway and i'm game :D
The Despair is great. I think you might like that one.

Awesome thanks. I definitely like them. Some good throwers for sure.

Wow! Definitely gonna need to try that. Forehand roller?

love the landmine
I’m warming up to it. Definitely a bit of getting used to at first.
My blackout I ordered from infinite came really gummy but I do like it
Nice. Yeah mine is a bit gummy too.
The Gloom is a very capable putter from Doomsday. Too bad they aren't PDGA approved.Nice vid
Thanks. I’ll have to see if I can get a Gloom.
@@PartTimeDiscGolf I use a Bennu by XCOM as an all rounder and feel like the Gloom is similar but not as good a driving putter as Bennu.
Subbed. How did you get such a nice snappy backhand? Is it in the elbow position and plane of play integrity?
Lots of practice. I recommend throwing putters or mids for a while. Focus on leading with the elbow and keeping the disc close to your body. Don’t forget to follow through.
@@PartTimeDiscGolf txh for the advice
the clandestine area 51 is the premium temple we need.
Oh yeah!!
I'm surprised they didn't send a Depth Charge. A soft version of the land mine. Makes for a Berg like approach disc.
Oh, that sounds nice. I’ll have to see if I can get one.
Try some thumbers, tomahawks and grenades with the Apocalypse! It has potential as an overhand disc.

I tried the thumber and it literally just stayed upright the whole time. It was really unremarkable, that’s why I left it out.
For a different experience with the Frag try throwing it upside down. Many people will get a further distance that way.
Yes. I did try that. Like the tilt, when it’s upside down it flies like a normal disc.
I have a handful of Doomsday discs. I’m not really a fan. The desolation flies similar to a pathfinder and the blackout is the only one I like
The Blackout is nice. That one really stood out as a great useable disc.
I’ve wanted to try so many of their molds… guess I gotta buy one and say it sucks compared to my Berg! 😂😂😂
😂 Give it a shot 🤷
