we discovered the backrooms.. a nearly abandoned subterranean dead mall with only a single surviving store, a small korean mart that still has VHS rentals and posters from the early 90s. we found this place from a reddit post with 40 upvotes. prior to entering the liminal space we took hallucinogenics. the flow of time was transformed in this space. the brick walls leaked chlorine. every hallway took you in circles... the first 6s of the MV isn't reality, it's a computer generated 3D liminal space. once the door is kicked in it swaps back to reality... i wanted the video to capture what we were experiencing. the animations you see were characters i doodled the same day. the backrooms brought them to life. create to survive forever evolving
