- This is a great coyote call at a very affordable price. I have owned this coyote call for over a year now and have enjoyed it a lot. The range on the remote is remarkable and the sound quality is really good as well. I have left a link below if like the review and want to make a purchase. Thanks for watching!
Foxpro Patriot
www.amazon.com...
Thanks, I was looking at the lucky duck rebel predator on sale for 99.99 this ones on sale for 129.99. For my first call I'll spend the extra 30 bucks
Great review. Not everyone has 500 bucks to dump on a call.
Thank you!!
I also had a Spitfire and got 10 years out of it. Do you think the Patriot is louder and is the sound quality any better. Thanks for the detailed review
I think the speaker is literally identical to the spitfire. Only difference is the remote from what I can tell.
Just got one, can’t wait to try it for black bears!!
Good luck!!!
Just realized your in Idaho too. Awesome video, I'm going to Sportsman's tomorrow to buy one so I can use it Saturday and I don't support the commies over at Amazon...
Idaho is awesome! Sweet I hope you love it!
@@WideRangeAdventures canyon county here! im getting foxpro patriot wednesday how did yours work out?
@@FlacoRidez I’ve really liked mine so far. Killed quite a few coyotes with it so far!
Really pretty good call for the $. Unless it's really windy should have plenty of volume
Oh yeah we have really enjoyed having it!
Did you ever notice any static on some of the higher pitched sounds? I’m on my second one and They are both doing the same thing, static on coy pup screams, dog fight, grieving grey fox etc
I only have noticed that when the batteries get low. It seems to work great as long as the batteries aren’t too old.
@@WideRangeAdventures thank you for the response!!
They purposely dont make this one camo, (or at least brown) that way you buy the more expensive ones. Lol
Subbed 2 you idaho 2 Idaho brother
Appreciate it man!!!
Could you please confirm whether or not the keypad is backlit like the screen or is it just glo ? I need lighted keypad for night hunting. Great review!
It is just glo. If you're looking for something that lights up you'll want one that has the next step up remote. One thing to keep in mind though it's there really aren't a lot of buttons, so you shouldn't get lost around the keypad too much.
@@WideRangeAdventures I picked up the inferno going to return to hard to operate in dark buttons hard to activate.thanks!
Mine is suppose to be in tomorrow. Im hoping it will call cotton tails in? Trying to blowgun them. Do you have any experience with that? I mean I dont even know if calling them in is a thing for sure... lol
Thanks for showing it off. Looks like I made a decent choice.
I’ve tried calling coons a few times with no success. I think the best time to call coons is at night, which I have never had the opportunity to try! I think you’ll love it!
@@WideRangeAdventures Thank for reply! Good to know, I appreciate it!
@@rabbithomesteading3797 let us know how you do!! Good luck!
👍👍
I really enjoyed the video but there’s just one thing…. I can’t tell if your 18 or 64
😂 me neither some days!
Can you call turkey with this
Depends on your state laws
Wide Range Adventures so that would be a yes then I guess. Very pro answer, king
Thanks for picking up my slack there homie. Yes you are capable of calling turkeys with it, but I am yet to know of a state where it is legal.
Yea.We would not want a beginner turkey hunter using an electronic call having a good time and getting into the sport. They might kill every turkey on earth doing that.Sometime game management people are mystifyingly ignorant.
Yeah seriously the only way to answer this question is exactly how I did. It depends on your state laws. I know FoxPro sells Turkey calls for electric calls, but I am not aware of any states that allow it. Plus there is no need. Just get a little box call and that’s all you need.
Do you still use the patriot call? I am looking at getting into predator hunting but not sure I can drop $500 + on one. What’s the good and bad after using it for some time now?
I still use it and it is still my #1 caller. Only downside in my opinion is it isn’t as loud as others I’ve used. That being said, it is still plenty loud for a coyote to hear up to a couple miles away
Picked me one up today at Sportsman's warehouse. Will be out coyote hunting this weekend. We'll see how it does.
Keep us updated! Good luck!
How did it go
@@jessedowell6606 Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it out but hopefully this weekend.
@@yumacubs well 2 years later.
@@michaelvoorhees5978 he never went lol
Great video, super informational. I am definitely going to have to try one of these out.
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
I looked at some reviews on this product and most were bad but all the complaints I seen were completely different than this video. One complaint was range "70 yards is about it's max" but while watching the video you exceeded that with ease. Also, is it hard to set everything up with a chromebook?
I could see a chromebook being tough to use with the software because it is a software that you will need to download on your computer and from what I know about Chromebooks everything is online. The call comes with a ton of sounds already on it though, so having the software and adding songs isn't necessarily a must.
@@WideRangeAdventures Okay thank you. How many raccoon calls are on there?
There are two different raccoon fight sounds and a raccoon distress sound!
@@WideRangeAdventures Alrighty, thank you!!
No problem! Thanks for watching!
