She's 100% right, I used this journal when I was self-harming and it actually really helped in terms of coping and releasing any negative energy whether that was destructing the book or writing everything out that was bothering me. So if you're going through something, I highly suggest using this as a very very cheap form of therapy

I'm now on my second one haha i loved my first one so much that i had to get a second one. this time, i want to take my time. I was having a really downward spiral where I was EXTREMELY having periods of self harm, so i diverted my negative energy on WTJ. Now that I'm recovered and better, I want to take time and make it pretty and stuff.

I got this book for $15 and for what it's worth I would never throw coffee on it or crack the spine, but I did poke holes in it. :P it's fun to do on Saturdays when you have nothing to do, and if you're really nervous about too many germs (like me) you can just cheat at the coffee one by using brown watercolor paint :P
