    This brutality can not be reduced to the Axis and Russian armies! I knew a German woman from the American sector after WW2, who was abused by 5 American soldiers for hours. I found it out, because working as a nurse, I asked about a date tattooed on the inside of her upper left tigh. She told me about the rape at her age of 16 and that the soldiers tattooed the date of the rape on her tigh, for that she should remember it her whole life. She did. She was mentally broken and never had a retationship beside to a teddybear from that time, that helped her to survive until she died at the age of 78. "Im amerikanisch besetzten Bayern kam es nach dem Einmarsch zu zahlreichen Fällen von sexueller Gewalt.[53] Die Historikerin Miriam Gebhardt verweist auf 540 Einmarschberichte der katholischen Pfarrer der Erzdiözese München-Freising. Diese Berichte belegen drastisch, dass 1945 in fast jedem Dorf Vergewaltigungen stattfanden." (The historian Miriam Gebhard tells, that in the American Sector Bavaria a lot of cases of sexual abuse by Americans happened, a study based on reports of catholic priests: In almost every bavarian villiage cases of abuse took place.) And I have a lot of former Yugoslavian female colleagues, that are still traumatized by what happened during the Balkan war... . This is an endless horrific story of mankind.

      Sounds like bull shit , If any complaint had been made to an American officer a full investigation would have ensued and it would be Public Record as well as military record. The men responsible would have been tried and imprisoned. I know this because unlike the Russians and the Germans , 90% of American soldiers were Christians. In a military group nothing happens that is not widely known quickly. I am sure their were crimes of Americans who raped in WW2 because their is record but finding five non Christian American criminal soldiers all willing to rape is a fantasy , I spent 25 years a Christian in U.S. military service.

    If you read Hartmann's book "Blonde Knight of Germany" he writes about his squadron surrendering to the Red Army. With the pilots and the ground crew were their wives and families. Of course the Soviets helped themselves to some raping. The next day the Soviet area commander arrived and said that all assaults would stop and any further assaults would be punished. Of course they continued and the commander asked all of the assaulted women to step forward. They did and he lined up all of his men and asked the women to identify the culprits. They were pointed out, gallows were constructed and the offenders hanged in front of their fellows.

My neighbour growing up escaped Hungary as a young teenager. She remembered the Russians coming to her town. She was about eight. She said they hide in a swamp while a battle raged for several days. Her and her brothers began to return to their town, when German soldiers who were retreating, demanded her brother’s clothing at gun point. The German soldiers were terrified of the Russian women who were often placed at the front line because of their extraordinary barbarity. When they finally reached their town, she was taken to a loft with all the young girls and women to hide from the incoming Russians. Several older women 40+ in age sacrificed themselves to rape. She remembers hearing footsteps coming up the entryway to the loft. They would stop just before the hatch and retreat down the steps. She remembers being told later that the Russians would not lift the hatch to any loft because they knew that in Russia the women would be waiting with pitchforks to spear the Germans when they would lift a hatch. They stayed there for several days until the third or fourth wave of Russians advanced. She said these were the administrative waves that were less beastial and somewhat civilized. I remember her telling me about the terror she faced. I was young when she told me this story, but I always wondered if in most wars, the first wave of any advancing army is almost always largely made up of those released from prisons and lunatic asylums. I later found out that solders from my country🇨🇦 had a reputation of being very civilized when they liberated anyone in WW2. Many people from those countries immigrated to 🇨🇦 and shared these stories of decency. It makes me proud…Mrs. Ganz had a very difficult childhood. Her mother died when she was three and her father went away to fight. It was 1940. She was left with aunts who were religious zealots who treated her as a slave. She would have to kneel for hours saying the rosary for anything she didn’t do correctly. Her father was killed on one of the very last days of the war. She remained with those aunts until her brothers were able to establish themselves in Austria. She remembers meeting up with smugglers one night who met up with several other groups trying to leave Hungary. She was only fifteen when she had to crawl through minefields. She remembers several mines going off as she crawled under the wire. Her life here was good, but she was always treated as a servant by all members of her and her husbands families whenever they would visit. I loved Rosie ❤…She was funny when on the phone because she could speak five languages and would use them all in one phone call…I know this is a long post, but I owe it to her to tell her story. She died alone and forgotten by the member of her family she loved to most. He is a narcissistic fuck who has to live with the fact that he did nothing to help her if it was not going to be beneficial to him. He stole money and weaselled his way into being a co-executer of her substantial investments her husband left her…And I used to call him a friend…Her story needs to be told because that generation of people who have memories of the war are dying and their stories will die with them.

      @@handeyecoordinationskills Thank you for your words , but the difference is that the attitude of the governments to this issue was different . Hitler's parting words to the Wehrmacht sounded like this : My soldiers , you are going to the east , where the laws of chivalry should not work , where the laws of war do not work, I am freeing you from morality , morality is a public girl of the bourgeoisie.
      The words of the head of the USSR Stalin Joseph Vissarionovich from the Order of February 23, 1942 No. 55, congratulated the military and partisans on the 24th anniversary of the Red Army:
      "Sometimes they talk in the foreign press that the Red Army has as its goal to exterminate the German people and destroy the German state. This, of course, is stupid nonsense and an unwise slander against the Red Army. The Red Army does not and cannot have such idiotic goals. The Red Army aims to expel the German occupiers from our country and liberate the Soviet land from the Nazi invaders. It is very likely that the war for the liberation of the Soviet land will lead to the expulsion or destruction of the Hitler clique. We would welcome such an outcome. But it would be ridiculous to identify Hitler's clique with the German people, with the German state. The experience of history says that the Hitlers come and go, but the German people, and the German state remains.
      Finally, the strength of the Red Army consists in the fact that it does not and cannot have racial hatred towards other peoples, including the German people, that it has been brought up in the spirit of equality of all peoples and races, in the spirit of respect for the rights of other peoples. The racial theory of the Germans and the practice of racial hatred led to the fact that all freedom-loving peoples became enemies of fascist Germany. The theory of racial equality in the USSR and the practice of respect for the rights of other peoples led to the fact that all freedom-loving peoples became friends of the Soviet Union.

All of which involved Nazis picking-off, exploiting and then shooting women, possibly some men and children also, for their personal pleasure.
      And their collaborators, who weren't officially Nazis, might even have been foreigners. But they were all happy and willing to exploit the chaos created by the Nazis.
      And that certainly included some right at home in Berlin. Certainly even in her own small little town. Not saying that all the Germans were rapists, or even that all the rapists were German. But without a doubt they were the engine behind all the raping. If they hadn't, you know, started the war and conquered so much territory, then this woman might have a leg to stand on when it comes to complaining about foreigners taking over Germany and raping the women. Instead of realizing that it's just part of the process of losing the war. I'm sure that they ran around screaming that it was !!!!! illegal !!!!! for their women to get raped by foreign soldiers. Funny how criminals turn to the law for protection from the consequences of their own actions. They know how little hope there is for them to use, you know, "right and wrong" or some other moral concern as a defense. I'm surprised that it wasn't an actual law in the Soviet military handbook that said "there shall be no tolerance for women of the vanquished party, who opposed the Soviet military in open combat and who attacked the Soviet people, who then complain about getting raped. None whatsoever. Especially when their military has raped its way halfway across the USSR and raped its way back out of the USSR...all while justifying the torture, raping and killing of Soviet citizens by the fact that they weren't good little Nazi collaborators".

      ...did you know that Nazi commanders often demanded a tribute from the towns in their command-area, to avoid either leveling or burning the town and exploiting all of the civilians, or just burning the ghettoes and exploiting the surviving Jews?
      In one instance the Nazi commander demanded 56 kg of golf plus some large amount of local currency.
      Your people were no better than the Vikings, the Mongols or any number of marauding tribesmen, invaders and pirates of various European countries throughout history. They just did it in 1940 instead of 1240 or even 1640. You should thank the Americans and Soviets for only *raping* German women and not carting them off to be sold as slaves in Istanbul. Which is usually what would happen.
      And trust me, your men did a hell of a lot worse than that in all the territory and to all the people they captured between Austria and Moscow. And they literally turned on and slaughtered the Italians who had changed sides during the war, on the mere basis of calling them traitors.
      Not the Italian leadership who actually negotiated the truce with the Allies and signed the truce in secret, releasing the information from the top down. The Italian soldiers who were out in the field who had no idea what was going on, had no orders for what to do after the truce was signed, they were completely blindsided by what happened. This did not matter to the Nazis. They rounded them all up whenever possible and shot them as traitors. Surprisingly this drove the surviving Italians to join the local partisans in open warfare against the Nazis who then occupied and fortified their country against the Allies with whom the Italians had just signed a peace treaty. The Italias, not to mention the Italian Jews, were then caught in the middle between the invading and advancing Allied forces and the retreating Nazi forces. You honestly thought the Nazis gave a rats' ass about raping, torturing and killing any civilians who got in their sights? Do you think that they cared about any appeals for clemency or leniency from the locals?
      I'm sure tl of the German people thought that their government would carry-out this "world conquest" in a polite, peaceful and respectful manner, with no raping or pillaging involved whatsoever.

There were honorable and dishonorable people on both sides, some more than others of course, and not all of them participated or approved of what their fellow nationals did. They also had little to no control over what anyone else did. To blame whole groups for what some did, is to BE the very evil you say you hate. Because that is THE mentality of those who took revenge on people who likely had nothing to do with the war.
      If your country goes to war, how much control do you have over that? Your choices are then to stand with your country, oppose it, or be neutral. Of course, there is no excuse for soldiers raping civilians in war.
    The question is, why, upon examining war rape, are the Germans singled out as the victims, and Soviets the perpetrators? German soldiers never raped any Soviet women when they invaded their way to the gate of Moscow? If the video concerns itself with the international tragedy of war-rape throughout WWII, and reflects on the transcending human sufferings, I'd give it two thumbs up - in that case focusing on cases where perpetrators were Soviet soldiers is not a deviation from objectivity, since by all accounts Soviet soldiers did rape German women in millions. However, the video doesn't go for that direction. It excludes any mentions of war-rape inflicted upon millions of Soviet women by German soldiers, and unapologetically drums up a narrative of the Soviets exclusively being the soulless devils and Germans exclusively being the innocent victims. Such nationality-exclusivity bumps hypocrisy to a disgusting level. Even North Korean propaganda has more subtlety.

    It defies me how Hitler's generals let him have his way, when they knew his strategy was no good. As soon as D-Day was over it should've been clear that they'd lost. The German army could've retreated from France and put up all their efforts on the Eastern Front, and then the Americans would've pushed beyond Berlin. It would've saved us from 45 years of Communism. Even when Berlin was surrounded, Hitler was ordering the army stretched thin, when his generals wanted to put everything into keeping the Soviets out.

My uncle was sick with diphtheria at the time and in the hospital, getting better because of the penicillin and care he had received from the Americans. After the Russians took over, he starved and died of hunger and thirst, since the Russians did nothing for Germans. I shudder to think about what my grandma and her daughters had to go through. Careful examination of the Supreme Commander's action indicates that he halted his troops short of Berlin and Prague for military reasons only."

    Allied POW's interned in Switzerland (pilots/aircrew that had to bail-out over Switzerland) were sent to pretty relaxed POW camps (far as pow camps are concerned). POW's could ski and even take some college classes. I've even read they were allowed to go into town and buy alcohol.
    BUT... That kinda life got boring for some. Some wanted to get back into the war. So they tried to escape. If you tried to escape and you were captured you were sent to a different kind of POW camp. Not the easy POW camps where you could ski and drink or take college classes... but actual POW camps that would rival those in Germany.
    One camp was called Wauwilermoos interment camp and it was run by a pro Nazi nut-job called André Béguin. For some it was hell on earth. Hell on earth is an understatement. Men were raped by other men and nothing was done about it. Andre Beguin would laugh it off. The sadistic pig. The raping was done by a group of Soviet/Russian airmen against weaker allied airman. Not against German women/civilians but against their fellow allied comrades in arms. One young American boy (that was repeatedly raped by the Soviet/Russian airman) tried to kill himself by stuffing hay down his throat to suffocate himself. He was able to get word back to the Americans and when the Americans found out they threatened to make some "accidental bombings" on Switzerland if it didn't stop. It stopped but by then the war was almost over.
    André Béguin was arrested by the Swiss for a bunch of different charges. He was given 42 months prison. He really should have been hanged.
    I doubt anything was done to the Soviet/Russian rapist. They should have been hanged. They (Plus every Goddamn Soviet soldier that raped and every Nazi soldier that raped. Hell any soldier that did any raping regardless of where they were from) should have been hanged.
    So you can see raping was just second nature to the Soviets in WW2. Didn't matter if it was German civilians or ALLIED MALE Pow's.
    I'm sorry but I have no love for the Soviets in WW2. About as much love as I got for the SS.... none at all.
    It ticks me off about how we cover the German atrocities of WW2 (which we should absolutely cover) but we don't talk much about how the Soviets were a bunch of brutal monsters. We tend to treat them as liberating heroes when in actuality they were a bunch of opportunistic monsters.
    Patton was right... we fought/defeated the wrong enemy.
    Let me include this so we are clear. I'm not defending the Nazis. Hell I'm part Jewish for crying out loud. Lol
    I am mad that we let the soviets take Eastern Europe. The Soviets were not the liberating heroes media makes them out to be. Eastern Europe simply traded one totalitarian boot (Nazis) for a different totalitarian boot (Soviets). Part of Czechoslovakia and Hungary (to name a few) should never been handed over to the Soviets/Communist on a silver plater.
    And I don't agree with us supplying the Soviets with our lend lease.

      Grant looked the other way when Sherman intentionally " lost control " of his troops from Atlanta and during his march to the sea, and back up through the Carolinas, where no woman or girl was safe from the raping, murdering, blood-thirsty Yankee heathens, who pillaged and destroyed everything in their path. It was Sherman who later personally told the Germans when visiting Germany how to deal with the French civilians during their war in 1870.. He asked Bismark why they were so gentle with them, when they should be burned out and killed, along with the French army. No mercy should be show the civilian population, according to Sherman. This was basically an admission of guilt in the atrocities against the American South and all Southerners who dared get in his way. He DELIBERATELY unleashed his men during the Civil War to do whatever they wished to the Southern people of the United States. He was a war criminal of the worst sort and Grant knew exactly what he was doing and had done earlier in the war. He did nothing because he was looking ahead to entering politics after the war, and didn't want to be blamed, thus his public " decency directive " to his army. So it was Sherman who laid the groundwork for how Germany would fight it's future wars, showing no mercy to innocents whatsoever. They learned well from their American war criminal comrade in arms.

The cruel hatred of Northerners for all things Southern still exists today in the hearts of those who feel that the Confederacy didn't suffer enough. It was the flag of the United States that the KKK used for over 100 years, and not the Confederate flag that now gets the blame. The misguided destruction of historic statues is further proof of their hatred. The fact is that the Union was as brutal as the nazis of WW2. Enumerating their many and frequent atrocities has not made any difference to the North, because they were the victors and still wish to punish the descendents of the Confederacy. He had been stationed among them before the war in fact he was president the military academy that became LSU and resigned at the outbreak of war. But he understood that to end the war the entire confederacy would have to destroyed. The destruction was limited to food and factories, railroads etc. The great campaign to the sea being deep in the south meant it would be impossible to protect supply lines so they lived off the land. This made total sense, feed our army and deprive his of food and forage to continue to make war. The northerner wanted to preserve the Union. There was no hatred of the south in general. The atrocities including mass rape happened not only in Berlin, but everywhere in the former German eastern territories! West Prussia, East Prussia, Pomerania, Silesia, Posen Province, Sudetenland. And even after the German surrender, these crimes continued for a long time. The intensity lessened over time, but it still happened. The German population was deliberately terrorized and decimated, since the expulsion had long since been decided. Perpetrators were mainly Soviets, Poles and Czechs. They had already received the consent to the expulsion of the Germans from the western powers long before that. Likewise the indifference to the way in which this should take place. It said "in a humane manner" on paper, but that was only on paper and had nothing to do with reality. The Germans who did not flee from the Red Army were interned and/or forced to work under the direst of circumstances. They had to rebuild their homeland, restore infrastructure, etc., and they ended up throwing them out of their own homeland, if they survived that long. Everyone was happy to finally get out of their homeland so that they were no longer exposed to the tyranny of the occupiers. If you look at or read reports from contemporary witnesses, you realize that the Germans paid an extremely high price for the Nazi dictatorship. One only has to look into the details to better understand what the German population has suffered. The best way to do this is to read books by those affected. I couldn't have imagined that before either.

      @@DarrenMalin The German High Command did intensive research on the question of defeating the Soviets. They knew they were going to "run out of steam" at least, well before they reached Moscow. Paulus himself did this research. Stalingrad and the Caucuses were never in the plan. That was added to the plan by Hitler after they realized that the Soviets had sabotaged the Eastern oil rigs so badly, so fucking badly, well beyond anything the Nazis had anticipated, that it would take years to get them up and running again. The failed plan relied on having those rigs and refineries up and producing fuel within a year after the Nazis took them.
      The plan for Operation Barbarossa still went forward anyway. And the preparation for it took months. It wasn't even a secret that it was going to happen. But the whole plan hinged on taking the Soviet territory before the Soviets could form an effective defense. They did form an effective defense one that simply delayed the Nazi advance into the winter, when the Nazis had planned to finish the offensive *before* the winter.
      The rest, as they say, is an example of hubris at its finest. Oh they had thought about it for a long time. They knew that it would fail. But the thought of killing a lot of Jews and other "undesirables" and at least taking SOME of the lands east of Poland? They thought about that for a long time also. In the end, much of the Nazi leadership took comfort in their impending loss to the Allies by telling themselves "hey, at least we killed 6 million Jews. That is an accomplishment that nobody can take away from us". They knew the rest of it was all going to go down in history as yet another European war. The only Germans who actually worried beyond that were the ones who were not true Nazis...and to the true Nazis, and indeed to a large number of neo-Nazis and German sympathizers? Those liberal-loving lefties who opposed the policies of the Fuhrer? They didn't really count as Germans...they were on their way to the death-camps also.
      You have to understand that German Catholics have been raiding, plundering and pillaging Central and Eastern Europe, for wealth and for slaves for millennia. This was all just a modern-day version of what they had been doing for many generations. All of known history is the history of one group of people raiding, plundering and pillaging another group of people. Not all of them all at once but always at least one group somewhere.
      The question is merely one of what form of raiding, plundering & pillaging.

    • @touristguy87

      @@DarrenMalin obviously there are several types of people, Germans included in these types
      the ones who would never think about invading another country
      the ones who constantly think about it
      the ones who actually do it
      the ones who have done it and were happy to do it (this has to involve a lot of descendants)
      and the ones who have done it and regret that they even thought about it much less did it
      and the ones who have done it and regret how it was done and know they could do it better if they were to do it again
      It's that last group that is the real problem.
      They've learned the wrong lessons from the experience. And that is why in the old days the victor would have killed all of the men and sold all of the women and children off as slaves.
      You can see one mistake that the Nazis made right-off in actually trying to get useful work out of the men (and the Allied POWs) and immediately killing-off most of the women and children...they planned to kill them all off eventually but allowed themselves to get sidetracked in "maximizing their value" first.. That put an extra burden on their own resources and introduced the possibility of sabotage and espionage. The Japanese avoided that mistake yet still fell short when it came to providing sufficient logistics to fight their choice of enemies and win.
      So many Nazi fan-bois simply overlook these issues while focusing on "combat effectiveness"...it's like, how many battles can you lose before you realize the limitations of looking at "combat effectiveness" while ignoring the effect of repeatedly committing your forces strategically based on a series of erroneous assumptions? Like, fighting battles "to the last man"? In what sort of addled mind does that even sound impressive? It's even worse than the idea of a strategic-retreat. A retreat at best just re-concentrates your forces for easy slaughter.
      I think of the Nazis building a 10km long Siegfried Line across Russia...holy shit, what idiot came up with that idea. "...wait, let's build a defensive line 70km to the rear. THAT'LL stop the Red Army!!!"
      That's when you know that you're dealing with people with no real grip on Reality. Surprisingly the Red Army was in Germany 3 months later, having taken about 1000 km of Central European territory from the Nazis. And like lemmings, they kept following Hitler over the cliff.
      I think far too many of these modern-day neo-Nazis have forgotten just how badly the Allies handed the Nazis' asses to them. Or else they just refuse to think about it. Just goes to prove that killing them once isn't enough. You have to sterilize the ground they come from. There just is no such thing as "innocent at birth". They're genetically corrupt! If you only kill half of them each time there are so many as to be a problem, eventually you kill-off all of the weak genes! Then surprisingly you can't kill ANY of them. Cross-breeding the victors with the vanquished will only accelerate that process which is why the Nazis tried to kill anyone who was even PARTIALLY Jewish. And yet they all fell in line behind Hitler who was 1/4 Jewish himself. That's like believing that a landlord from Queens is going to save the US. This is a guy who can't even save his own marriage because of his need to stick his dick into half the women in Eastern Europe.

Aren’t will all capable of immoral behavior given the right circumstances. None of us can hope to regulate or control anything or anyone except ourselves. Rapes and murders still happen but the individual is still accountable to the rule of law whether that is human or Divine. The horrors of war. God help us

  • @АлексейХилков-ы4б

    And to the question of why the Germans had to endure the horrors of violence from soldiers. My father, mentioning the violence of Soviet soldiers against Germans in East Prussia, explained that it was not accidental. He recalled that his front was moving through Belarus (formerly part of the USSR). Both he and his soldiers saw that most of the villages and towns there were burned by the retreating Germans. And in the burned villages, all their inhabitants who did not hide in the forests were killed and piled up. He especially remembered how, after entering one of these villages, the soldiers wanted to drink and found a well. And suddenly they called him: "Comrade Lieutenant, look!" The father came up and saw that the well was filled to the top with the corpses of peasants, and on top lay the bloodied children who had been killed. There was a dead silence. My father did not make angry speeches. He only said to his subordinates: "Remember this!" After which, he turned around and left. And in the evening he heard his "battery" subordinates saying that they would take revenge on the Germans for everything... So they (and other soldiers of the front) took revenge on the Germans. Moreover, German soldiers committed violence against Russian women no less, who then had to give birth to half-blooded children. And everyone knew it... So, after the war, Stalin even ordered to collect these half-breeds (if the mothers did not want to educate) and send them to orphanages. And so that the teachers did not "gnobil" the children (so as not to be bullied), they were given Russian names and surnames. By the way, no one punished Russian women who gave birth to Germans (which was surprising for contemporaries). And my father once remarked that "the Germans deserved all that horror and the Russians have nothing to apologize to them for."

      @@indiawalla8960 My father was a little boy during the war, and his father was a conscientious objector to Hitler's war, and did all he could to avoid having to kill anyone, and he was successful in that aim, and never killed anyone. So don't call me a nazi, you despicable toad.

    This number originated from the book The Fall of Berlin 1945 published by English writer Antony Beevor in 2002. He, in turn, refers to the book "BeFreier und Befreite" (1992) by German feminist writer Helke Sander.
    Helke Sander used a statistical model to come up with the number of the rapes. She found a copy of a birth report from one of Berlin's hospitals for 1945 - 1947, and used it as a starting point
    According to this document, in 1945 in this hospital 237 women gave birth, and 12 or 13 of them claimed Russian fathers (in 1946, 21/567). From this, she concluded that about 5% of all children born between Sept 1945 - Aug 1946 were from the Russian soldiers.
    Then she used a number of assumptions:
    1. According to the official statistics, there were 23,124 new-born babies within this time period in Berlin. Assuming that the report from the above hospital was typical, she got 23,124 * 5% = 1,156 "Russian" babies;
    2. Assume that 9 out of 10 raped women who got pregnant had an abortion. Then, the number of women who became pregnant from the rapes must be 1,156 *10 = 11,560;
    3. Assume that pregnancy happened in 20% of the rapes. Then, the total number of rapes must be 11,560 * 5 = 57,800;
    4. During the period, there were 600,000 women aged 18 - 45 in Berlin. So, 57,800/600,000 = 9.5% of them must have been raped;
    5. According to Dr.Goebbels, the Russians raped all German women from 8 to 80 years old. Since during the period there were 800,000 women from 8 - 18 and 45-80 in Berlin, applying 9.5% ratio yielded additional 73,300 rape victims;
    6. Therefore, the total number of Russian rapes in Berlin during the period was 73,300 + 57,800 = 131,100. For reasons unknown, she rounded down the number to 110,000;
    7. Finally, assuming that the ratios were the same for the entire country,she extrapolated the above analysis on the Soviet-occupied Germany to arrive to 2,000,000 rapes.

    My grandmother was assaulted by the Soviets. She never spoke about it, died w/ the memory of it. I was in the American Army. Wish I could go back in time & 'Correct' the Commie who did that to my grams.

    This is horrifically atrocious. I'm sure words can't even begin to describe the defeated helplessness that followed the terror of brutal violation of oneself and loved ones, neighbors. It's just so sickening to think of literally being hunted and gang raped every time you left home, hell even your home as an uninvited guest was fair game obviously... It's just like I'm to numb to begin to comprehend that feeling, ugh, it's unimaginabley hellacious. How long were these rapes allowed to continue?
    What a useless cruel barbaric war.

      people today still try and justify the mass rape of the woman and little girls, woman weren’t even allowed to hold political offices in germany at the time so why take it out on them, not only that but the soviets did this to the woman of romania, hungary, estonia, latvia, lithuania and pretty much all of Eastern Europe especially the balkans since they viewed them as traitors but those stories are never told as those countries were completely dominated by the soviets so all the horrible stories from victims and witnesses were mostly suppressed pretty much every country the soviets went to rape and war crimes followed it’s estimated 2 million woman were raped including little girls as young as 5 years old all across eastern Europe by the soviets which is why it wasn’t just the german woman fleeing their country to the west where rape and war crimes of any kind were much less likely to occur, i hate humanity sometimes now excuse me while i copy and paste this throughout the comment section to bring awareness and so the general story of what those women and children endured doesn’t go completely untold.

      What are you rambling about? That war was most certainly highly needed, otherwise further millions of innocent people would have been exterminated by megalomaniac Nazis!
      Are you nuts?
      Even 1943 Nazi Germany realised they couldn't win their insane war. Guess what they decided.. Even their own children and elderly were send to the battle field instead of finally surrendering! Clueless woke clown!
