I remember the night of the 500 demo leak. I was at a friend's place, when suddenly my phone blew up with notifications from the Weezer B-Sides channel (RIP). Everyone was talking about this sudden purge of Rivers' website, and the very moment I got home, I immediately downloaded as many demos as I could before the dropbox links expired. The one recording that really stood out to me at the time was, for some reason, Homeless. Thought it was really pretty, and I associate that song with one of my biggest "holy shit" moments as a Weezer fan.

Personally i like some demos like “since you came around” or “everybody needs salvation”, this video is very good, Idk why I didn't know about “not alone” it even appears in the weezerpidea lol, although almost all the “lone” series on youtube only a few songs stand out, something that can be noticed by the viiews

The common consensus about Weezer sucking after Pinkerton is false, but understandable. After Pinkerton Green and Maladroit released with one being just being repetitive and the other becoming a hidden gem, but from 2005-2010 they did come out with some garbage with a few bombs making it in, until 2014 where the Weezer recession began leading to some more great rock albums mainly EWBAITE and White. So long story short: They were great in the start, sucked for a while, and are great now.
