I'm south, in Galveston County (Santa Fe) and it's been raining last night and just started up again 45 mins ago.
I live in tulsa, we get our rain clouds from that direction and its been a rainy week amid a relative drought.

The storms are naturally occurring but moving out of Texas is still a good idea.
As the climate gets hotter there will be more extreme weather and clouds in places like the southeast US where there's already lots of precipitation. Also in the early 20th century we had more clouds globally because of particulates from burning coal.

I believe insurance companies help each other out. If they go bankrupt, that's not good for business. Our auto insurance just jumped about 30%. We haven't even had a citation in the last ten years! We have lots of brush fires, but that should raise our homeowners insurance.
