Paraguay... no thanks. I chose Santa Catarina, Brazil with its super low crime rate. Found an isolated place up in the mountains with a nice house, lots of land, an abundance of water, fruit trees, beautiful views, and a mild climate. About as good as it gets!
Exactly. Why live in a country where you are hated and where your life can go upside down due to the insanity of the legal system, when you can live in another country that is much more sane - hopefully to remain so - much more inexpensively and then happily!

Argentina is awesome but it's not a tax friendly country at all. I heard Doug Casey say in another video he always stays there less than 6 months to avoid being a 'tax resident.'
Ever pondered the weather? It's over 40 degress for the better part of the year, even in winter temperatures can reach extreme heat levels. Definitely not a pleasant climate to live in. But to each their own...
Hi! At what prices does good property in Buenos Aires sell? And how would you go about buying it? I'm inexperienced and curious. Bad combination. Thanks!
Google “properties for sell in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires”, or “apartments for sell in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires “ if you specifically want an apartment. Or “departamentos en venta en Capital Federal, Buenos Aires”. Americans are actually moving to Mendoza (wine country), in the city of San Rafael, Mendoza. Properties in Argentina already touch bottom and from now on they should only go up. It’s the cheapest it’s ever been. One in a lifetime opportunity.
This guy is WAY over exagerrating about the real estate prices in BA vs NYC. I'd say it's about 30-50% cheaper in the nicer parts of BA than in NYC. Definitely not 10%. The nicer parts of BA are about the same cost as downtown Philly, which is not cheap, but obviously cheaper than NYC. I had to search BA real estate for 90 minutes to realize that this guy is just trying to pump his own real estate! Is everyone a scammer now? Holy Crap.
Definitely, today Paraguay is a better choice than Brazil for living. The current government in Brazil is destroying the country with high taxes and fiscal mismanagement. In just over two years, the Brazilian real has already lost more than 20% of its value against the US dollar, and we still have two more years of this government, with expectations far from promising.
